Short but powerful, excellent food.

The food was good for the price. They have quite a lot of options. The staff was very friendly and its a nice place. They have a semi open kitchen, so you can see the staff at work.

As others have mentioned, it feels a bit like a cafeteria. The staff is super friendly👌. Orders arrived quickly, as did our lunch. We ordered a smoked salmon sandwich and a snack. The salmon sandwich was fine. The snack was okay. I thought the plate was a bit plain, too big, maybe it should be presented differently? We were given a choice of tomato or pea soup. The pea soup tasted good with a piece of meat, bacon, and smoked sausage. 👍 The croquette was as it should be...the egg was practically cold. Too bad. No, I didn't say anything about it, it happens sometimes; it was fine as it was. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to upload photos.

Wow, what a delicious meal we had! It's a truly wonderful restaurant to sit inside or out! The restaurant looks very clean inside! Beautiful decor and a lovely atmosphere! The dishes looked incredibly delicious on the plate! We were immediately enthusiastic! The service was super friendly. We received a warm welcome right away! This is highly recommended!

Nice restaurant right in the center of Waalwijk. One minor drawback: the soup we ordered wasn't exactly warm, but it was still tasty. Furthermore, the main courses we ordered were quite warm, as they should be. Excellent.

I had lunch this afternoon and ordered a club sandwich. It turned out to have truffle mayonnaise on it, which I find absolutely disgusting. When I pointed this out, they kindly and understandingly made me a new one with a different sauce. Really great! Such friendly staff!

Nice restaurant. Good and tasty food. Good and friendly service. We sat inside but asked to be seated elsewhere because of the awful cigarette odor from the terrace. The other seating was also less odor-prone. Perhaps make the terrace smoke-free as well.

They're so slow to advertise gluten-free on the menu, but when I ordered a chicken, cheese, and pesto sandwich, it suddenly became very difficult to order gluten-free because they prepare everything in advance. The alternative they offered was a gluten-free ham and cheese sandwich, so bad I wanted something different than a regular sandwich.

Went to this restaurant on advice. It was also on the route, so it was a good idea to dine here. Spacious restaurant that is actually not too big. But a spacious and nice terrace. The menu is large, extensive and Dutch-oriented. Also really enjoyed the desserts. An address to remember if we are in the area.

First of all, I would like to emphasize the friendly welcome and the extremely skilled waitress. Beautiful restaurant, very warm atmosphere, we were only sitting in the draft next to the front door that was open. My girlfriend and I both had a steak menu, which was provided with a lot of vegetables. We did not find the steak itself very tasty, the pepper cream sauce on the other hand was delicious, but was in a (for me) too small bowl, but I was given one of these as well.

Leuke zaak, uitstekende service, zeer uitgebreide kaart. Ernstig minpunt: de schnitzel was zo slecht, taai, totaal doorgebakken, een schoenzolen is malser. Garnituur was wel in orde.

Made a reservation here for dinner after an outing in Waalwijk. We had a delicious meal for a good, reasonable price. Nice place with atmosphere and a view of a square with rustic buildings💖 The only thing was that we sometimes had to wait a little longer between courses.

We ate here for the first time yesterday and all three of us had nothing to complain about. All three courses were excellently served and there was a very pleasant atmosphere with nice service. We would love to come back again.

Before my wife and I enjoy a night out at the De Leest theater. We will first eat at restaurant Blauw. Highly recommended. I don't easily give 5 stars, but they deserve it. Well, which dish do you recommend? We have been there 3 times already and it was good and cozy every time.

The service was very slow, we ordered our food at 6:40 PM and it arrived just before 8 PM. The American burger is almost a big mac, nothing shocking. Portion size makes a big difference. The schnitzel blue is enough for two people, the steak is divided somewhere in the middle of the plate.

Vandaag bij Blauw in Waalwijk lekker op het terras gaan zitten en daar een frezen cappuccino besteld. Hierbij uitdrukkelijk gevraagd om de frozen cappuccino uit hun eigen folder. Wat een teleurstelling als je dan een simpel glas ijskoffie krijgt.

Friendly welcome. Found a quiet corner to have dinner after a long car journey. Parking is possible within a few hundred meters. Nice menu with delicious dishes. Smooth service and a chat. Tip: the grilled pork tenderloin was delicious, but the port in the port sauce could not be tasted, which is a shame because grilled pork tenderloin with port sauce is very tasty.

It's a cold Saturday evening in April but Nick the owner quickly changed this cold evening. The heater was turned on and, with the risk of burn blisters, it was also aimed at us. Nothing is too crazy, a clean blanket, a tasty schnitzel while the kitchen was already closed. And yes, you won't believe it, a golden chip from a golden guy. 5 stars for customer friendliness and quality. Wow we are convinced! (Nick we won't go anywhere else again

I ate entrecote there. Baked too long so I almost choke. They say medium is but it was cooked through. But to make up for the service, I was allowed a dessert on the house.
