I was on my way to Belgium and I saw a TikTok celebrity praising Syrian food. I stopped and started praising it to my non-Syrian friend. When we ordered, I was in for a surprise. I was late with the review, but I was still disappointed. We ordered tabbouleh, a kebab sandwich, and a shawarma sandwich. We had told them we'd arrive in half an hour so they could prepare the order. We waited 20 minutes after we arrived, and they gave us the order, but instead of a sandwich, they made an Arabic shawarma sandwich and we paid for it. The tabbouleh, I swear to God, was literally only two or three spoonfuls on the plate. One of the ayran containers was open and someone had drunk from it. Their excuse was that the waitress had opened it to pour a glass for a customer and then put it back in the fridge. They said they'd replace it to compensate us. That was their answer. I've never been to a Syrian restaurant and had eggs and stuff like that.

The lamb kebab, chicken, and Adana are completely flavorless. They were also so stingy that they only gave us one container of garlic sauce, even though we ordered a mixed grill for two. The meat seemed reheated and didn't even smell like barbecue. The atmosphere was also cold and unfeeling. We've often eaten Syrian food, for example, in Brussels and Rotterdam, but this restaurant in Breda really doesn't know anything about cooking. It's a real waste of money for such awful food. The price is very high compared to the quality everywhere in the Netherlands and Germany. The price of a regular chicken shawarma sandwich does not exceed 7 euros with the best quality except at Sultan Al-Dimashqi 8.50 for chicken and 9.50 for meat. The taste and cleanliness are very average.
