What an incredibly good and lovely venue. We had our wedding there because we met there 20 years ago. What a fantastic day we had. Superb service.

Nice cafe, with nice terrace. Good nachos. Wide range of beers, but really too expensive.

After a bike ride we felt like a cool drink on the terrace in the shade. Service very friendly. We ordered two special beers from the menu, €6 each so together €12, when we asked for the bill we suddenly had to pay €12.40 so I asked why that was and the waitress said that there was still an old card on the table. I found this very strange and the lady was suddenly not so friendly anymore, we paid €12 and then looked at a few other cards that were on the tables and it also said that that beer costs €6. So probably all old cards on the tables 🤣We have noticed several times that something is often incorrect on the bill, since then I always check the bill, €0.40 is not much but if there are suddenly two bottles of water on it, it adds up quite a bit.

Was good! But wondering why it is way more expensive than all other cafes that I tried! I live in Den Haag, and this is the most expensive toasty and coffee.

Boerke is a household name in Breda. Service and friendliness is hard to find. From now on we will sit somewhere else where they know how to deal with guests

Top cafe. Our group has been coming here regularly for several years and we have only had good experiences here. Especially when Thomas is there who immediately recognizes his customers and once again provides top service. Kudos.

Came here for a drink unsuspectingly last night. We ended up in a super nice pub where the monthly pub quiz was being held that evening. We were asked to join in and were really involved. Super friendly, accessible people, tasty drinks and the Burgundian bitterballen were also great! It's a shame it's not in my area otherwise it would certainly have become my favorite café!

Come in every day of the week to end the day. The driving forces Thomas and Martijn maintain the atmosphere of the brown neighborhood café. If you don't live above the major rivers, it is definitely recommended!

Sat on the terrace today. It was quite busy, but it took a really long time before we were allowed to order. I had a latte machiato, my glass was dirty, it still had someone else's lipstick on it and the spoon looked like it had been used. We also ordered croquettes, but we never had them. Unfortunately a lesser experience.

Never ate nothing here, but it's just the perfect spot for drinking with friends, just absolutely perfect atmosphere

Really old Dutch brown cafe with a very enterprising and enthusiastic owner.

For a well-known location in a rich and expensive part of Breda, you might expect a less old-fashioned menu. No vegan options, no plant-based milk for coffee. Not recommended if you keep up with the times. Update: 1 year later I'm here again, hopefully this time with a better map. But unfortunately, same standard offer. More money does not automatically mean a better selection of drinks and dishes.

Great place to have a drink or have a party, definitely recommended if you are in the area.

After a walk through the Mastbos we arrived at the terrace of Boerke Verschuren. Super cozy terrace in the middle of the square. The service was somewhat messy, my husband got white sandwiches instead of brown, and I ordered a cheese/pineapple sandwich and only got cheese. Other than that the food was fine, but not worth repeating as far as I'm concerned. (Sept. 2023)

Rommelige bediening, weinig aandacht voor de gasten. Eten was ok maar niet bijzonder. De lokatie op terras is gezellig.

Café anlan Ginnekemarkt in Breda. Grote feestzaal, groot terras voor. Worden ook voetbalwedstrijden getoond.

Duurde lang voordat de worstebroodjes er waren.

Leuke plek voor een besloten feestje in de achterzaal.

Very nice place. Bartender was exceptionally nice and helpful. Many kinds of good bear available. Oh and me and my friends love that taxidermist master-crafted fox above the counter. :D

Sehr gemütlich und vor allem von Ortsansässigen frequentiert - es gab am Sonntag Bingospiele, man konnte auf großem Bildschirm Fußball schauen und für normale Preise Bier und Snacks erstehen

Net heerlijk op het terras in de schaduw gezeten (in de zon was ook mogelijk). Lekker gedronken met een paar borrelhapjes. Goede bediening.

Heerlijk terras in het Ginneken, op elk moment van de dag. s'Morgens bakje koffie, s'middags of s'avonds een lekker biertje. Volop keuze! En er eventueel ook een lekkere poké bowl eten van Kahuna, zó op het terras!
