Ate a delicious piece of homemade flan. Highly recommended!

Very beautiful location and good cappuccino, however unfortunately very limited choice of pastries, with the crumb flan almost always sold out...

Came for lunch by invitation, had a good conversation, but even more importantly, delicious food. You can see and taste the passion they put into it. Highly recommended!

Only ate soft drinks and flan. The apricot flan did not taste fresh.

One staff was Unwelcoming and non professional. He also had an attitude. should not project insecurities towards customers

although the food and view was good, the lack of service and professionalism towards the customers threw us off. we were denied to be served while others were served, because we were not dutch.

From the moment we arrived we felt that we were treated differently than the local because we were arab and wearing the hijab. We were told that the cafe would open in 10 minutes, even though Google Maps showed that it was already open. While we were waiting outside, we watched Dutch customers being allowed inside before us, despite being told that the cafe was still closed. To make matters worse was that while we were still looking at the menu, a staff member brought us coffee that we never ordered. Later, they claimed that we had ordered it and expected us to pay for it. Very racist and unwelcoming staff.

After a pleasant walk or simply when you are looking for a quiet spot with excellent food and a spectacular view: this is the perfect location. The service was excellent, with attentive staff. Highly recommended.

We sat and ate here after our walk in the woods. They have alcohol-free cherry beer. It is rare for a restaurant to have that. We ate spareribs. The meat was very tender and came off the bone very easily. We also had the mango passion fruit bavarois. That was very tasty too.

We walked past here during a hike and it looked inviting. Good for a stop for a bite and a drink during a nice walk along the Geul. This forest café has a stunning view.

Nice spot for a drink (excellent beers and coffee). However, avoid eating there; it's expensive and uninspired. In short, overpriced basic fare!

Super beautiful location. Very friendly service. We had the Tivoli special and it was okay. After dinner, we took a beautiful four-kilometer walk. Follow the green posts and you walk through the woods and open fields and along the Kleine Geul. It was also nice to see the two cows in the meadow from the terrace. The only real downside is that your dining experience is severely disrupted by smokers. They were puffing away next to us. Behind us sat a woman who lit a stinking cigarette five times in an hour. So you end up sitting in that awful smoke the whole time. That detracts from your (dining) pleasure. Boscafé Tivoli deserves better because, once again, the surroundings are beautiful and the service is superb.

A beautiful little cabin in the valley with the right music.

We sat on the terrace in the sunshine. It is smaller, quieter, and less in the woods than the other forest café in South Limburg, but definitely nice to discover as well! The food was delicious.

Our visit was the ultimate expression of everything great in terms of hospitality experience at Boscafé Tivoli in Valkenburg. Four amazing dishes, two of which were custom-made. And in addition, an encore to the food that you can see in the photo. We felt the attention, love, and passion for the craft! And also a great playlist/music in the background.

Nice place but if you don't sit inside you have to sit outside it's already cold but blankets were supposedly to the laundromat and the heat lamps didn't work again nice place but sht service

Beautiful and cozy restaurant. The food and service are truly excellent! Unfortunately, it was very noisy in the restaurant, mainly due to drunken patrons. It could have been an isolated incident, of course, but otherwise, everything was perfect!

Big disappointment ... immediately the spot ... could order chocolate milk, poffertjes, latte macchiato and pie with whipped cream after a very long wait ... finally after another long wait only got a latte, a long time later the poffertjes and we never saw the rest ... despite the fact that we kindly asked the staff ... "it will come" ... "I'll ask for it for you later" .... not so .... nothing more seen or heard .... they won't see us again ...

Very disappointed. We made a reservation for 6:00 PM. We ordered some bread, and then it took a very long time. Guests who arrived later were eating earlier. The main course arrived at 7:30 PM. The owner was busy with other guests, and the music was a bit loud. We skipped dessert. After a tip from a friend in the area, we made a reservation. But unfortunately, we weren't from the area. Not recommended.

A cozy, snug forest cabin where you can relax. And the food is delicious, with the spareribs highly recommended. We ate here again in 2024, and it was good then too.

This is a really great location, a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. Beautiful view from the terrace. The food was excellent, and the service was super friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back. It's not very big inside, so booking in advance (for dinner) is definitely recommended.

Charming forest restaurant, I've been going there all my life, now under new management and very popular. Reservations are recommended for dinner in summer!

Delicious food and drinks in a unique location

I came here 25 years ago with my kids and parents. It's still a great place to relax. After a lovely walk along the gully, it's a wonderful place to relax with a drink. The food is delicious and well-prepared. Highly recommended.

Very friendly service and delicious food. Daughter enjoyed a "self" chosen ice cream afterwards. Definitely recommended if you are in the area for lunch/terraces.

Aperol for 8 euros consisted mainly of ice and the patio heater could not be turned on because the gas had run out (there was a full bottle in it). Camenbert, beer and meatballs were tasty. At 45 euros it is quite expensive. View very beautiful.

Had a great lunch, delicious food, great service, great atmosphere. The food is really good, super fresh. Portions are also sufficiently large, not too exaggerated. Service really super sincerely friendly.

Young owners do their best and understand the catering business. Tip if you serve a delicious bowl of lettuce on a plank with delicious meatballs in beer sauce. Then that salad is very difficult to eat and that is a shame because the quality is very good.

Do you recognize that when you have just finished your main course and the waiter comes to ask if everything tastes good? My answer was that my main course was of good quality but simply not to my taste. And my main course was gone, these men from the forest (cafe) did not leave this lady in distress with this dish. I immediately got another main course and it was excellent. Without being able to find anything about this on the bill. Culinary Limburg hospitality are not three random words here, but are tailor-made for these gentlemen. Ps the pickled meat is definitely recommended 👌

They have been closed for days, but this is not stated anywhere except on the door. Sloppy. A gem on the edge of the Ingendael nature reserve. Cozy forest café with tasty dishes and good draft beers: Paix Dieu even! Bouncer tasted good with delicious fresh brown bread. Pasta Boscaiola was excellent and the fish of the day, sole, was also delicious.
