Waiting 1.5 hours for fries and a frikadel speciaal; I’ve never had to wait that long. Plenty of staff, but apparently things aren't under control. Orders after mine left early. And fries that were already fried being thrown back into the fryer. A good snack bar doesn't do that. Too bad, but a very bad experience.

Great food in a nice, well-maintained atmosphere, good attentive service, very reasonable prices, sooooo good value for money. A lovely place with good people. Don't forget to try Grandma's homemade nasi balls and bami balls, a delicacy.

Reminds me of an American diner. Looks nice and they have tasty things to offer. This is also a nice place for an ice cream.

We had a delicious meal at Ted's Diner. The 1960s atmosphere was very nicely done.

The food itself was good, and the service was fine. Unfortunately, during my visit, I had an unpleasant experience. I heard a child at the staff talking about the political party "PVV" and making negative remarks about foreigners. As a foreigner myself, I felt very uncomfortable and disrespectful. It's a shame, because the food was fine, but the atmosphere would keep me from returning.

The (not so) "new" owners of the coat of arms radiate energy and hospitality. With Ted's Diner, they're proving to be a great addition to Alphen with this 1950s concept alongside the familiar snack bar/restaurant formula. They tried the smash burger, highly recommended. So, if you're looking for snacks, ice cream, or a low-impact meal out, with or without the kids...

Last Saturday, I went back to Alphen (NB) to admire the new interior. It took some getting used to, but it looks really neat. A truly great upgrade. I grabbed a bite to eat right away. My wife, of course, had the amazing homemade bami ball, and I had a double beef burger with cheddar cheese—not bad either!

The four of us had a delicious meal and drinks. Less than €50, including drinks. Four menus, drinks, and ice cream for dessert.

Good fries. Good service. I called. 10 minutes? And exactly 10 minutes later I walked in. And the food was already ready. Reopening? LET'S GO!

Smooth service, delicious food, good price/quality and a large terrace

First time here in December, now I like to drive a bit for it. Delicious fries, good snacks and very friendly owners. With the man you can laugh or have a good conversation and with his wife, well she is just a sweetheart of a person! Food is delicious, I will definitely come back soon with my 2 boys and friend.

Cozy chip shop+. Besides offering great chips and snacks, they also have a nice restaurant area. Great service, good quality, great price. Not 5 stars, because it can be a bit busy and noisy at times. Update 2025: New owners, after a somewhat less successful period. The young staff don't have to be 5-star waiters, but they could develop a bit more routine, be a bit more alert and radiate a bit more product knowledge. Otherwise just the same review 😁

It was very pleasant. Delicious food and friendly, nice owners who laughed about where the coat rack was, which was not there yet. Which they could happily laugh about and were amazed that they had forgotten to buy it. Nicely decorated with an open kitchen.

Have gotten fries and snacks a number of times. Excellent quality of products and preparation. And pleasant service. Recently tried the new snack, the bacon skewer. This one was incredibly tasty. If you are a lover of bacon, this is definitely recommended.

We went here with the family for fries this weekend, delicious fresh fries and great staff! Super hospitable and you get a lot of fries for your money. They have decorated it beautifully and everything is super clean!! We will definitely come back here, see you soon!

We had dinner there and it was excellent. They have FRESH fries that they don't skimp on. I had the homemade bamibal, which I have never had before anywhere. The owners are very friendly. The conservatory has been made very cozy and it is also pleasant to sit in the shop itself. They are still working on decorating it, it will be very nice. I'll definitely be coming more now. Glad that there is a good cafeteria again with the opportunity to eat quietly there. But above all good quality food.

I just had delicious fries, stew meat and hogweed satay and an XXL frikandel special from you, it was very tasty and the chip shop looks nice on the inside and the staff is also friendly.

Chicken satay didn't taste good, my friend's hair salon continued with it, but it could be so much better. The fries weren't great either.

Order not received for the 2nd time. If you think you are going to pick up your order, you can then wait another 45 minutes until your food is ready. This isn't the first time and they suck at it.

Vervolgens aan de balie tafelnummer en bestelling door gegeven. Net gekleed personeel bracht op juiste wijze onze keuze. Na het eten aan de balie rekening betaald. Als afsluiting een heerlijk ijsje genomen. Wij hadden niet gereserveerd en ik weet ook niet of dat mogelijk is. Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Gratis parkeren. Zit op de weg binnendoor vanuit Alphen naar Baarle-Nassau.
