I didn't expect much from it. Surprisingly good. Had a tasty croquette sandwich. It was nice sitting outside. Nice staff.

Absolutely the tastiest fries!!

The fries are sooooo delicious!! Crispy and with the skins still on: that adds so much more flavor! The chicken pieces are also delicious: crispy, juicy, and real pieces of meat, no ground separation junk. The staff is super friendly and I find the little restaurant at the Goudse Poort a surprisingly cozy spot! Recommended!!🤗

Very pleasant and fast service. It's just that I had to leave, but I would go sit there with my family in a heartbeat. It looked cozy and it is lovely by the water. There is also a playground for young children (2 to 5 years old) to play in.

The fries are always cut super fresh right in front of you and fried to a perfect golden brown and crispy, exactly as they should be. The portions are generous, so you certainly won't leave hungry. Additionally, the staff is incredibly friendly, there's a great atmosphere, and they work quickly, even when it gets a bit busier around lunchtime or dinnertime. Whether you want to grab something quickly to go or are just craving a fresh snack with a big dollop of sauce, this location truly never disappoints. Highly recommended for anyone in the area! 🍟✨

Classic fresh fries (cut on-site) with tasty stews. Keep an eye on the seasonal specials; there are some very good varieties among them. In summary: Bram Ladage Plus. Update 14-7-2026. Bram's has become Bram Ladage, which has expanded the range. Unfortunately, the stews have become a bit lower on the priority list as a result. That does not detract from the fact that it is one of the better chip shops.

I love Bram very much, but I wouldn't recommend anyone have this delivered. Half of my order was delivered (my girlfriend didn't receive her order at all) and it was cold. The order was via Uber.

Bram Ladage in Gouda is truly the coziest, friendliest, and has top-notch staff. It is also a very pleasant place to sit; it is a really beautiful location. The food is truly fantastic! The fries are fresher than fresh, you get a huge portion, and the prices are great too. For us, these are truly the tastiest fries; there is nothing better! By now, it has become a regular habit for us to have fries on Thursday afternoons!

Probably the best -fresh - French Fries 🍟 I ever ate. It's a joy to see them making it out of big bags of potatoes. Chopping, pre frying, friying.

It's not about the food, it's about the loading. But the atmosphere there, with the singing staff, a warm welcome, and very friendly service, is something I haven't experienced in the hospitality industry in 30 years. It's truly wonderful.

A delicious big bag of fries from Bram's with double mayo and double salt...😋 then you should definitely come here, just enjoyed it...and what a bag, a well-filled one! It was quite heavy, but we thoroughly enjoyed it! The atmosphere, the staff, all friendly and helpful...so come by for a big bag from Bram's, it's definitely worth it. Great chip shop. I've been here before with my mother. It's in a beautiful location next to the lock, so you have a lovely view of the water. The staff is polite and helpful. The food is quite good. All in all, a nice place to stop by car! 👍🍟

It was icy cold in the covered area. When we ordered, we asked if we could turn on the heater. He said he would come and do it, but we absolutely weren't allowed to touch it ourselves because it had already been demolished by customers... Uh, okay... But we didn't see him again. So the atmosphere was icy, literally and figuratively. You had to search for your hamburger sauce. The fries were nice and warm in your hands. We were absolutely freezing, and the other customer was complaining with his two children. After about 10 to 15 minutes, a colleague arrived to start her shift. We assumed it was a customer. And we pointed out to the young man behind the counter that she wasn't allowed to touch it. But he didn't know how to turn it on. Then she looked at our friend like, uh...how does this work? Yes, he said, sorry, I work at De Tuinen, but your colleague wouldn't let me touch it. Then she looked at us like, "Are you serious?" And we were like, since he immediately got a sneer. The fact that we arrived and had to sit in the cold to eat certainly wasn't going to help, so we threw our food away and went to our warm cars. It's a real shame, but we'll drive fast next time.

After a morning spent fishing in the rain on the Gouwe, the tastiest fries taste even better, especially when they're a Brammetje.

Despite the rainy weather, we were able to sit comfortably under cover and behind glass. Bram is always good, and the food is excellent value. The snack menu is highly recommended if you're struggling to choose!

The food is delicious, and the quality is what you'd expect from Bram Ladage. The location is situated along a busy highway, which can be a bit less inviting. On the other hand, you have a unique view of the train drawbridge, which gives the place a unique feel.

We had the Bram menu, starting at 8 euros, and then you spend almost as much if you don't. I actually spent 11 euros per person. Because water is included in the price, but everything else isn't... And then those ridiculous prices for a little sauce. Enough sauce but not enough onion. As if that's the most expensive thing you get... Worth it for that price? No. The fries are good, but not for that price.

Super nice staff, helpful to me too! ;) ivm. my wheelchair and sometimes needing a little help. I still find it a bit of a "strange" location ... I'll be honest. Not necessarily very relaxing along that much and much too busy road, but the back is better and more beautiful on the Gouwe. ;) The fries (or chips okay okay) are always TOP TASTY really BRAM, a good fixed value in our Gouda. I always feel very welcome there anyway!!! ♡
