We've been here several times, both in the hotel and for dinner when we were traveling through. Always pleasant, beautiful surroundings, lovely terrace, and delicious food.

Beautiful surroundings, delicious coffee, and the tastiest cheesecake ever. Service wasn't exactly fast, but it was friendly.

Enjoyed a delicious lunch. A healthy brown roll and spicy chicken.

Mixed feelings about the lunch The sandwiches were delicious and generously filled, which was a definite plus. Unfortunately, the Caesar salad was very disappointing. There was far too much dressing on it, which meant that the flavours did not come into their own. In addition, I missed important ingredients that you normally expect in a Caesar salad, such as anchovies and capers. There was chicken on the salad, but it was standard chicken fillet topping, and not the roasted or grilled chicken that you expect in a good Caesar salad. Finally, the iceberg lettuce seemed to come straight from a ready-made bag from Albert Heijn, which detracted from the freshness and quality of the salad.

Warmly recommended, as the staff was very friendly. The food was of very high quality. There were no language barriers either; German, English, and Dutch were available. (Also available in menu format.)

Operation extremely slow. With only 4 tables, waiting 20 minutes for your drink is simply too long, and then waiting that long again for lunch is not necessary. Service is friendly and helpful! Prices are really expensive. Come on... €3.45 for a standard 200ml drink isn't even a glass full. Lunch was fine, but considering the price, also way too expensive. For 20 euros you expect a nice fresh burger on your sandwich and slightly more fries than 20 fries. Nice location apart from the busy road along it..

Nice location and central. I didn't think the lady at the counter was service-oriented, a bit quick-witted. We received brown bread even though we ordered white bread. The menu card of the website is no longer applicable. We personally wouldn't eat here again.

Despite the nice weather it was still nice and quiet. The service was friendly, we were allowed to leave the car while we went for a walk (something that is usually not allowed due to the limited parking space). For a vegetarian there is little to choose from on the menu.

Tasty lunch, walking routes, coffee with apple pie...

Coffee with cake. Walk and upon return a wonderful 12 hours, cup of soup, bread with sausage and bread with croquette, small bowl of lettuce. Enjoy

Cozy restaurant with an extensive 3-course menu. customer friendly staff and a really nice atmosphere. The fish and chips are highly recommended! They were also really big portions.

Delicious food and super attentive staff. We stayed at the Hoeve van Nunspeet, with a dinner package. There was enough choice on the menu to enjoy for a few days. Excellent portion size.

Ate here the week before Christmas it was very tasty, good service and value for money. 3 courses done at a leisurely pace. So you can take your time.

The 4.5 euro chocolate milk was a layer of 1.5 cm at the bottom of the glass cup. When I asked the waiter if she didn't think it was a bit low, I got the answer: 'I have no idea, I didn't pour it myself'. That says enough about the general state of the ministry. Completely lifeless and uninterested. Ultimately, after asking again, I received a little extra with long teeth. What a great atmosphere…

The atmosphere of course depends on your group (8 stars), but the ambiance and service are absolutely great. Our waitress was cheerful and in a very good mood. She said: if I don't like it, I will do something else, but then your evening will not be pleasant either. The menu is not too large, but the dishes are therefore super tasty. Recommended!!

Had dinner with 7 people for my birthday. The chef really made the dessert something special. The starter and main course were also well received!

Thursday, August 4: Lunch with 4 people! Quality sufficient to reasonable, only the waitress scored well below average! A smile or laughter, she doesn't know what this is! Actually, she threw the cutlery on the table and when she said something about it, she said "I'm busy" and... "you don't have to come here"! Outrageous beyond words! We don't have good memories of this waitress with the black horse tail and a reasonable butt! Unfortunately!

The taste of the food was not really special. The restaurant was too full for what the service could handle.

Very busy upon arrival. Staff walked around uncoordinated and without cooperation. The food tasted good, but the price-quality ratio is not there. The dining room has no atmosphere. A few employees who did not allow themselves to be fooled radiated job satisfaction.

12 hour meal was particularly tasty, service was quick and friendly

wij vonden het veel te duur voor de kwaliteit van het eten. we hadden een biefstuk beide, helemaal rauw terwijl we doorgebakken hadden gevraagd. de biefstuk was ook echt niet lekker. de patatjes waren super slap en het personeel was totaal niet beleefd. wij gaan hier niet weer heen.

Het eten is zo ontzettend simpel ten aanzien van de prijs. Dat een kok dit durft te presenteren. Maar voldoende gasten die er zijn, dus die weten het blijkbaar wel te waarderen. Maar ons zien ze nooit meer terug.

Limited choice in "included" dinner viavoordeeluitjes.nl, unless you want to pay an additional price. The vegetables were mediocre but the schnitzel was tasty. I would give the breakfast buffet a 4, but it is so cramped and chaotic that I would feel guilty if I did that. A buffet should be set up in ONE continuous flow, with a walking route... not in a claustrophobic cube where everyone walks around while the staff (who are certainly friendly) try to refill.

No comments except for breakfast. The breakfast room is too small and cramped when it is busy, and you also have to queue for far too long for every cup of coffee/tea due to 2 slow coffee machines. These are regularly out of action due to topping up milk and emptying the coffee waste bin. And tastes differ, but in my opinion the coffee is much too strong and the fruit juices are much too sweet.

Very nice location, just outside the center. Have a coffee with a guest. Was very suitable. When the weather is nice you can spend some time outside here. The service is excellent, very friendly and professional. It is located on a busy main road, so if you are looking for a spot on the terrace, take one a little further away from the road. We can park on site on the private property, ideal! Will definitely come again!

They have an extensive starter and after course menu with delicious dishes. However, I think that if you get fries, mayonnaise should automatically come with it. A company like vd Valk should not charge an extra euro for this. Hence everything 4 instead of 5 stars.

Bad food, worthless menu. Salad without dressing. Apologies, but the evening was quite ruined for me and my girlfriend, who can only eat gluten-free.

We went here as total strangers to the area, purely based on the website and reviews. We called in advance to see if we could reserve a table later in the evening (7:30 PM), this was no problem. When we arrived there was no table available and we waited in the lobby. The service is friendly, fast and good, exactly what you would expect. We were very pleased to be asked if we could come through the next hallway. However, the food is of significantly lower quality. From tough rolls (that tasted as if they had been baked hours ago) with incredibly salty aioli, pesto from a jar and mediocre herb butter, to broken asparagus and summer pudding that is sour and served with sorbet ice cream instead of the promised ice cream... It was it just really doesn't. We got up to pay before the dessert could be brought out, because I didn't want to have to explain why I hadn't eaten the 3rd course either. This is a shame, because the decoration of the restaurant is great, the service is good... with an adjustment to the kitchen, this could be an absolute top location.

It was very quiet when we came for lunch. Couldn't really taste the atmosphere at the time, but despite that it was fun. The service was good. Were kindly helped. The food was very good. Good place to pamper the inner man.

Exceptionally good restaurant with an interesting menu. Wine was fantastic and there was a good selection. Service was attentive and friendly. Food was special. The cassoulet with Veluwe duck was buttery soft. Served with potato mousseline and various vegetables. Dessert was a strawberry pannacotta, fresh and light. Coffee is excellent. Prices are medium to high. You can put together a 3-course menu yourself. Highly recommended. Terrace is beautiful and interior is modern and chic.

Great spot next to the Veluwe for a walk. Really enjoyed the sun out on their terrace. Food was perfect, did not spare on sauces which is so nice. Will be back for sure!

Very busy at noon. If you go there with a group to eat or have a drink one person is expected to pay for the entire group. Very annoying. By the way, it wasn't busy then.

Mooie prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Lekker gegeten met mijn dochter. Wild proeverij vooraf met verschillende soorten koud vlees, o.a. hert en wildzwijn. Hoofdgerecht Jack fruit met rijst, atjar en kroepoek. Vriendelijke bediening. Jammer dat de menukaart in tripadvisor lange tijd niet bijgewerkt is!

Prima restaurant. Het eten was uitmuntend. Bediening afhankelijk van wie er langs komt. Een aantal personeelsleden liep in eerste instantie wat doelloos rond maar keek niet goed naar de gast. Toen het wat drukker werd ging het raar genoeg veel beter. In november al helemaal in de kerstsfeer is niet helemaal mijn ding maar ook niet heel erg.

Het eten was wel goed De bediening slecht. En het was koud in het restaurant Helaas, Helaas.

We were here with a family of 16. The atmosphere was nice, the staff very friendly and the pace was good. Nice that there were good vegetarion options and the ones we had were very good, which is not very common in that region in October.

Top plek om even bij te komen van een wandeling in de omgeving. Goede kwaliteit eten, in een mooie setting. Bediening netjes en zeer snel.

Fijne gezellige plek om te lunchen. Glutenvrij is geen probleem. Wel jammer dat het leek alsof het glutenvrije brood zo uit een supermarktverpakking kwam ipv vers.

Goed eten. Prijs kwaliteit is prima in orde. Daarnaast vind ik dat er veel privacy is omdat de afstand tussen de tafels groter is als in andere restaurants. Wij moesten wel lang wachten totdat er eindelijk iemand kwam om onze bestelling op te nemen. Maar ze hadden een ziek personeelslid begreep ik later. Verder was het personeel wel vriendelijk.

We hadden zin in fish and chips dus kwamen bij deze brasserie terecht. Heerlijk buiten kunnen genieten van onze late lunch. Lekker gegeten en vriendelijke personeel

Kwamen wel vaker daar om na het wandelen even een lunch te doen maar nu vonden we beide dat zowel het brood erg droog was .

Koffie en gebak, prima. Bij het diner, het bord loeiheet(prima!) Bijgeleverde groenten nagenoeg koud, en de kwaliteit van het vlees kan beter. Sfeer: prima. Dessert goed.

Eten was okee maar niet super wel heel duur voor wat je kreeg. Service was matig kwamen niet tot weinig aan tafel als je dan maar zelf na de bar loopt om toch drinken te krijgen staan ze je aan te kijken van ja wat moet je hier. Personeel verzamelt zicht rond de bar maar daar wordt veel geroddeld en zeker niet zachtjes gepraat. De aankleding van het restaurant is wel leuk. Positieve afsluiter

Heerlijk rustig in schaduw met gezin op het terras wat gedronken met een borrelhapje erbij. Aardige bediening.

Gewoon ok eten met vriendelijk en toegankelijk personeel. Ondanks dat er soms ook busreizen langs komen, wordt je als individuele gast niet overgeslagen.

Op zondagavond met 4 volwassenen en 2 kleine kids gaan eten. Het eten was voortreffelijk en het personeel heel vriendelijk. Vlotte bediening. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

In één woord Geweldig...💯+++ Superdesuper kwaliteit, leuk en gastvrij personeel...en het Palingmuseum een unieke aanrader...... Hier vis of anders eten is een belevenis .

Het eten was prima, maar voor het bedrag wat we betaalden niet erg in verhouding.
