We ordered 2 croquettes with bread and 3 bread with carpaccio. When it was served, we smelled a strange odor.... It wasn't until we took a bite that we discovered the carpaccio was heavily spoiled, and not just one portion, but all three 😔 If we smelled it right down, how could they not smell it in the kitchen?

Had a nice time with family, the food was very tasty, and the service was friendly and helpful.

The company party was fun. The service on the outdoor terrace was not very efficient. Lots of waiters walking around with (almost) empty trays, while everyone was thirsty. The dinner buffet was tasty, but the food was set up haphazardly. The "brown pub" upstairs was cozy, but the music was way too loud, and the beer wasn't nearly cold enough, so it didn't taste good. A shame.

Terrible service, you have to wait for food for almost an hour every single evening even though dinner is pre-ordered and when you ask a waitress where is your dinner she is yelling at guests and is very rude. And food is genuinely very bad. Such unpolite staff. You should check your staff as well as the cook.

I was here for the second time today and I will definitely be back tomorrow, very pleasant service and excellent food 😍😍😀😀

Oh my goodness, it took so long to get two wilted chicken skewers with a dollop of satay sauce. The pork tenderloin was very good, though, even though it looked terrible. After waiting a long time again, so we decided to ask for the dessert menu and waited a long time waiting for that too, but we still left without dessert after letting them know we were calling it a day. There was plenty of staff walking around, but for what?

Went for lunch a couple of times. Good food and service as you would expect. Nice location.

The place is probably not designed for my age group, people in their thirties. It is located in a park area. I like sleeping in silence, and waking up at 5 AM to birds and other animals was not fun for me. When I entered the room, the light did not work, there was no air conditioning, and the heating was centrally controlled through the radiator. Personally, I did not like the place, but someone who is more into nature will probably enjoy it. I stayed here because of work.

I sat down for lunch. I ordered soup with pork and vegetables (zucchini), beef steak and wine. Good food but the soup stole the show (10/10). I paid about 45€. The location is beautiful, in the forest.

We were not immediately greeted upon entering; staff simply walked past. It took a while before someone came to take our drink order and bring the menu. The bread roll beforehand was nice and warm, but felt like sandpaper. We ordered fish and chips and a schnitzel. We subsequently had to wait almost an hour and a half for them! Despite the fact that staff were walking around, guests received little attention. As a result, they received their menu or drinks late. There was only a small cone of fries with the fish and chips. The fish was fine. The schnitzel was reasonably okay. We did have to pay extra for the sauce, though. We received a discount on the desserts due to the long wait for the food. However, the desserts were not special, and the crème brûlée was a downright failure. They thought so themselves, so it was deducted from the bill. The establishment is quite okay, but seems like there is understaffing in the kitchen? The young girl serving didn't look happy. If you want a nice place to eat out, I would look elsewhere.

Went out for dinner tonight for my sister's birthday. Very friendly and cheerful service, and a delicious main course and dessert. TOP. Highly recommended. Do so if you are in the area. TOP 👍

We were served the food separately. I had gluten-free bread and that takes longer; my husband had already finished his lunch by the time mine arrived.

We had brunch here with the whole family... the food was delicious. The service is very friendly and helpful. The location is beautiful... and the gentleman who indicated several times that it was his restaurant was less friendly. We indicated several times that we would prefer the door to the terrace, which was located right behind us, to remain closed due to the cold draft. The gentleman was not impressed by this. The serving staff all went outside, but the gentleman didn't think it was necessary to walk around... it is "his restaurant" after all! "The customer is king" is a concept from a distant past, unfortunately... My sister, who didn't know that the gentleman works here, had locked the door because the older ladies sitting next to the door were cold. She was actually spoken to about this; the gentleman considered it childish behavior, it is "his restaurant" after all. Terrible!!! We will not be coming back!

A truly lovely hotel with cozy yet modern rooms and an incredibly comfortable bed. The food is excellent, especially the breakfast. The service is very good and the staff extremely friendly. We stayed for three nights and would gladly return.

What a lovely place! It's a bit of a maze when you're looking for the restroom, but there's plenty of space, and you'll get good service. If you only visit the brasserie, you can get a free exit ticket from the hotel reception.

If you'd like to take a nice walk, buy a social deal from Brasserie 14 in Nunspeet. Enjoy coffee and apple pie with whipped cream, then go for a walk. Upon your return, you can have lunch for two or three people at a great price. We were very happy with this offer.

Nice place with excellent food. However, the service wasn't what we expected. After being served our appetizer, we were asked what we wanted for our main course. We had told them, and after 1.5 hours, it still hadn't arrived, even though we saw other people arriving later and being served right away. After we finished our first drink, we were asked if we wanted another drink. We indicated we were still waiting for our food, and they said twice that they would look into it. We felt like they didn't, as we then had to wait another 20 minutes. We were then given a drink as compensation, which we really appreciated, but unfortunately, we won't be back. ☹️

Carpaccio was way too thin and undercooked, so it had no flavor. The fries looked like they'd been refried ten times. The satay meat was way too soft and had a strange flavor. We won't be back.

For the price, it doesn’t even include water or breakfast. Way too expensive for what it offers. The 4.1 stars do not correspond – something is wrong here. I didn’t have much contact with the staff, but I liked that they send a message in advance if you come by car, explaining where and how to park, and even warning you if the road is closed. The lady at the reception also allowed me to check in a bit earlier, which I appreciated. Still, the bathrooms are not up to that rating. In summary: the staff is fine, but the overall quality does not match the price or the stars.

We received a very enthusiastic and warm welcome in the morning. Poor service in the afternoon, as we were left waiting.

The menu isn't extensive, but you can thoroughly enjoy what's on it. I had a delicious salmon sandwich for lunch, and it was outstanding. Definitely recommended. Enjoy!

The hotel is a good location for cycling tours. The accommodations are fine. The price/performance ratio is good. The food is good, and the prices are reasonable.

Mixed feelings about the lunch The sandwiches were delicious and generously filled, which was a definite plus. Unfortunately, the Caesar salad was very disappointing. There was far too much dressing on it, which meant that the flavours did not come into their own. In addition, I missed important ingredients that you normally expect in a Caesar salad, such as anchovies and capers. There was chicken on the salad, but it was standard chicken fillet topping, and not the roasted or grilled chicken that you expect in a good Caesar salad. Finally, the iceberg lettuce seemed to come straight from a ready-made bag from Albert Heijn, which detracted from the freshness and quality of the salad.

Warmly recommended, as the staff was very friendly. The food was of very high quality. There were no language barriers either; German, English, and Dutch were available. (Also available in menu format.)

Operation extremely slow. With only 4 tables, waiting 20 minutes for your drink is simply too long, and then waiting that long again for lunch is not necessary. Service is friendly and helpful! Prices are really expensive. Come on... €3.45 for a standard 200ml drink isn't even a glass full. Lunch was fine, but considering the price, also way too expensive. For 20 euros you expect a nice fresh burger on your sandwich and slightly more fries than 20 fries. Nice location apart from the busy road along it..

Nice location and central. I didn't think the lady at the counter was service-oriented, a bit quick-witted. We received brown bread even though we ordered white bread. The menu card of the website is no longer applicable. We personally wouldn't eat here again.

Despite the nice weather it was still nice and quiet. The service was friendly, we were allowed to leave the car while we went for a walk (something that is usually not allowed due to the limited parking space). For a vegetarian there is little to choose from on the menu.

Ate here the week before Christmas it was very tasty, good service and value for money. 3 courses done at a leisurely pace. So you can take your time.

The 4.5 euro chocolate milk was a layer of 1.5 cm at the bottom of the glass cup. When I asked the waiter if she didn't think it was a bit low, I got the answer: 'I have no idea, I didn't pour it myself'. That says enough about the general state of the ministry. Completely lifeless and uninterested. Ultimately, after asking again, I received a little extra with long teeth. What a great atmosphere…

The atmosphere of course depends on your group (8 stars), but the ambiance and service are absolutely great. Our waitress was cheerful and in a very good mood. She said: if I don't like it, I will do something else, but then your evening will not be pleasant either. The menu is not too large, but the dishes are therefore super tasty. Recommended!!

Had dinner with 7 people for my birthday. The chef really made the dessert something special. The starter and main course were also well received!

Thursday, August 4: Lunch with 4 people! Quality sufficient to reasonable, only the waitress scored well below average! A smile or laughter, she doesn't know what this is! Actually, she threw the cutlery on the table and when she said something about it, she said "I'm busy" and... "you don't have to come here"! Outrageous beyond words! We don't have good memories of this waitress with the black horse tail and a reasonable butt! Unfortunately!

12 hour meal was particularly tasty, service was quick and friendly

wij vonden het veel te duur voor de kwaliteit van het eten. we hadden een biefstuk beide, helemaal rauw terwijl we doorgebakken hadden gevraagd. de biefstuk was ook echt niet lekker. de patatjes waren super slap en het personeel was totaal niet beleefd. wij gaan hier niet weer heen.

Het eten is zo ontzettend simpel ten aanzien van de prijs. Dat een kok dit durft te presenteren. Maar voldoende gasten die er zijn, dus die weten het blijkbaar wel te waarderen. Maar ons zien ze nooit meer terug.

Limited choice in "included" dinner viavoordeeluitjes.nl, unless you want to pay an additional price. The vegetables were mediocre but the schnitzel was tasty. I would give the breakfast buffet a 4, but it is so cramped and chaotic that I would feel guilty if I did that. A buffet should be set up in ONE continuous flow, with a walking route... not in a claustrophobic cube where everyone walks around while the staff (who are certainly friendly) try to refill.

No comments except for breakfast. The breakfast room is too small and cramped when it is busy, and you also have to queue for far too long for every cup of coffee/tea due to 2 slow coffee machines. These are regularly out of action due to topping up milk and emptying the coffee waste bin. And tastes differ, but in my opinion the coffee is much too strong and the fruit juices are much too sweet.
