Brasserie 155 in Wijk 00 Vught

It was another very pleasant experience at a lovely location. There is ample parking. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They also serve delicious food and drinks.

Had a delicious meal on a beautiful terrace with top service and fair prices.

Last Sunday I celebrated my birthday with my parents and brother. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with a lovely atmosphere. We'll be dining here often!

Very good food and very customer friendly. Price is a bit high for what you get. Otherwise everything top in order!

Very nice place to have lunch or dinner

For a number of years we have been coming to Brasserie 155. Until yesterday. I told the staff, not very helpfully, that we had to wait a very long time and finally asked for the bill ourselves after 30 minutes. As a result, the staff told us that we are always difficult guests. "After all, there is always something with you and even the chef knows who you are." We were completely surprised by this. We have never experienced the feeling that there is always something wrong with us. For this reason, my wife went back to talking to the man (from the staff) who made this statement. With the question whether more text and explanation could be given about the fact that we always have something to complain about/something is. Since we are not aware of any wrongdoing and do not understand what they experience/think with us, we could learn something from it, take it with us into the future or become aware. The response that was given; I am not going to argue with you. It was also stated in the context that they had a very busy evening and that we certainly did not need to come. It was also said that if we are never satisfied, we should definitely not come again. My wife left even more surprised. Since we were satisfied and we do not understand why we are difficult guests who always have something wrong. Otherwise you would not come back for 8 years. Still no explanation. Quite special reactions. Today I went back to the restaurant to apologize for the way I communicated and to discuss again why we are difficult guests for them. As far as we understand now, we sent back incorrectly made drinks, sent back 1 cold main course and sometimes indicated to the staff that we had been waiting longer for an order to be taken, apparently this makes us difficult guests for them. In our eyes at the time this happened; we thought it can always happen, but incorrect drinks or a cold main course should be indicated. Are you a difficult guest if you indicate that something is not right regarding food, drinks or service? Today we were also told that we are still very welcome as long as there are no comments/remarks. Apart from the fact that we no longer felt welcome yesterday, should we not say anything when the wrong drink or a cold dish is served? To top it all off, it was even reported that almost all of the staff find us difficult guests. Apart from the fact that in our eyes difficult guests are: people who can never be satisfied and find your company horrible, it would have been professional to talk to the 'difficult guests'. If there is any doubt about whether you cannot meet the standards or expectations, communication is the key, isn't it? We have heard from former staff members that guests are spoken badly about. The communication, hospitality and service really disappointed us.

Al een aantal jaren komen wij graag bij Brasserie 155. Tot gisteren. Niet geheel handig heb ik aan de bediening gemeld dat wij wel erg lang moesten wachten om uiteindelijk na 30 minuten zelf binnen de rekening te vragen. Hierdoor werd er door de bediening medegedeeld dat wij altijd lastige gasten zijn. “Het is immers altijd wat met jullie en zelfs de chef weet wie jullie zijn.” Compleet verbaasd waren wij hiervan. Het gevoel dat er altijd iets is met ons, hebben wij nooit zo ervaren. Om deze reden is mijn vrouw terug in gesprek gegaan met de man (van de bediening) die deze uitspraak heeft gedaan. Met de vraag of er meer tekst en uitleg gegeven kon worden over het feit dat wij altijd iets te klagen hebben/iets is. Aangezien wij ons van geen kwaad bewust zijn en hun niet begrijpen wat ze bij ons ervaren/vinden zouden we er immers iets van kunnen leren, mee nemen in de toekomst oftewel bewustwording krijgen. De reactie die gegeven werd; ik ga niet met jullie in discussie. Er werd ook medegedeeld in de context dat ze een hele drukke avond hadden en wij zeker niet hadden hoeven te komen. Ook werd er gezegd dat als wij toch nooit tevreden zijn wij vooral niet meer moeten komen. Nog meer verbaasd ging mijn vrouw de deur uit. Aangezien wij juist wel tevreden zijn geweest en wij hun niet begrijpen waarom wij lastige gasten zijn waar altijd iets mee is. Anders kom je niet 8 jaar lang terug. Verder nog steeds geen uitleg. Vrij bijzondere reacties dus. Vandaag ben ik terug gegaan naar het restaurant om mijn excuses aan te bieden voor het feit hoe ik heb gecommuniceerd en om het nogmaals te bespreken waarom wij lastige gasten zijn voor hun. Voor zover begrijpen wij nu dat wij verkeerd gemaakt drinken hebben terug gestuurd, 1 koude hoofdgerecht hebben terug gestuurd en wel eens hebben aangegeven bij het personeel dat we al langer aan het wachten waren voor een bestelling op te nemen, kennelijk maakt dit dat wij lastige gasten zijn voor hun. In onze ogen op het moment dat dit gebeurde; dachten wij kan altijd gebeuren maar verkeerd drinken of een koud hoofdgerecht moet aan te geven zijn. Ben je een lastige gast als je aangeeft dat er het eea niet goed is omtrent eten, drinken of bediening? Vandaag werd ons ook mededeelt dat wij nog altijd van harte welkom zijn zolang er geen op/aanmerkingen komen. Los van het feit dat wij ons gisteren al niet meer welkom voelde zouden we dan ook niets mogen zeggen wanneer er verkeerd drinken of een koud gerecht geserveerd word? Als klapper op de vuurpijl werd er zelfs gemeld dat vrijwel iedereen van het personeel ons lastige gasten vind. Los van het feit dat in onze ogen lastige gasten zijn: mensen die nooit tevreden gesteld kunnen worden en je bedrijf vreselijk vinden, was het wel zo professioneel geweest om dan in gesprek te gaan met de ‘lastige gasten.’ Als er twijfel is of je aan de maatstaven of verwachtingen niet kunt voldoen, is communicatie toch juist the key? Via oud personeelsleden is ons al vaker ter oren gekomen dat er slecht wordt gepraat over gasten. De communicatie, gastvrijheid en service is ons echt tegengevallen.

Simply good food and drinks is what you can expect here! You can enjoy walking and cycling in the immediate area and parking is free!

We were really pleasantly surprised. Finally a restaurant that also has some other dishes on the menu. Something for everyone. I don't eat meat and my boyfriend likes to eat meat. That is sometimes a challenge, luckily not here. But the biggest compliment goes to the service. What great people work there! They see everything, are neat, witty and friendly. We will definitely come back here!

Was there on a Saturday evening, atmosphere and service were good. I also had an asparagus soup that was a bit salty and a rack of lamb, unfortunately it was not a rack of lamb but 3 lamb legs and the lamb was quite tough. If you put rack of lamb on the menu, it must also be a rack of lamb and not 3 legs of lamb.

Been a few times now and still good quality food on the menu. The lunch menu is not very large, but it is sufficient in terms of portions.

Nice and friendly staff. Very good food. It's not cheap to buy here, but it's not too expensive either. Celebrities regularly come to eat and are not suddenly surprised when a famous Dutch person is sitting on the terrace. There are plenty of parking spaces across the street. Accessible with a zebra crossing. Disabled people can also come here easily.

We had a delicious meal at this restaurant again yesterday. I come from Knokke myself and am a foodie, but this place is not inferior. Nice and knowledgeable staff, nice menu, warm atmosphere and nice ambiance. Definitely recommended if you are in Brabant and want to be sure you have a nice afternoon/evening!

Beautiful and tasteful place with caring and motivated staff. We had an excellent meal there, really good. When we were there it was practically fully booked, if anything could be improved it would be the acoustics, there was a lot of "noise".

Had a great experience here! Food and ambiance are good. Waitress was nice. She could just ask more often if the others at the table wanted something when someone ordered something. She often disappeared immediately afterwards.

Cozy restaurant with delicious food and super friendly service.

It is our second home. Are there every week. The hospitality is fantastic, food is always good even when the chef is not there. It just always goes well, which gives a very good feeling. The staff always treats you in a nice manner.

Definitely not a parking lot and a restaurant where you can have a bite to eat at your leisure. Shady characters and police set the scene. Sometimes I am really happy with our impressive dog.

Attractive place, friendly and quick service. We sat at a cozy round table. The brasserie is located opposite a beautiful walking area. We had lunch there. Delicious, tasty dishes. Beautifully laid out plates.

Food was lukewarm, and the Brussels sprouts were rock hard. So these came when the Brussels sprouts came at the end of the meal. We won't be back.

Bomvolle lunch hier maar in de serre mooie rustige plek. We eten een paar coquilles, heerlijke ceviche en als afsluiter pizza tonijn. Mooie verfijnde kleine gerechtjes. Lekkere kaart en de begeleidende chardonnay prima. Wij hadden de tijd maar voor een zakenlunch duurt het te lang. Opvallend dat het in de communicatie niet helemaal goed loopt. Dezelfde vraag (twee keer zelfs) wordt gesteld. Gerechtjes prima, leuke tent.

Beautiful restaurant, beautiful interior, and the food was TOP and importantly, there is a nice atmosphere with helpful staff!!!!

Wonderful place after a walk, bike ride or a nice evening out for dinner. My mom had the linguine with lobster (delicious flavors!), my dad had the sirloin steak (perfectly cooked), my partner the rotisserie chicken (dressed with a nice chef's hat) and I had the truffle penne (unfortunately I tasted the do not add truffle to the parmesan, hence food 4 stars). For dessert we had the crème brulee, chocolate caviar, clafoutis and friandises. Delicious desserts, only the vanilla ice cream was a bit disappointing.

Steak au poivre without any preparation with any vegetables or fries or something similar. Everything had to be ordered separately that was not indicated in advance. Very expensive for a bare piece of meat.

We have had a delicious meal here before. Last Saturday we thought we would have the same culinary experience as we were used to. The starter, the coquille, was cut in half to give the impression that you were getting a decent starter for this price. The main course, the highly peppery Bavet, of which the peppers were burnt, we immediately asked if this was the intention and was taken back to the kitchen. The young "manager" immediately returned with the announcement that this was the way it should be. Could get a tournedos as an alternative. The price-quality is no longer in proportion at all. We also explained our dissatisfaction to the staff and received the answer that they hear this more often. Too bad we liked coming here, but they will never see me again.

Slechte prijs kwaliteit verhouding. We waren met meer dan 8 personen en de kaart was daarom erg beperkt: biefstuk, kip, zalm of vega. Sommige gerechten (o.a. scampis) waren erg lekken maar meeste niets bijzonders. Sommige drankjes kwamen na twee maal bestellen nog niet door. Bovendien vreemd dat ze bij een dergelijk duur restaurant geen decaf koffie serveren.

As my colleague had eaten here earlier and we were nearby this place so we took a chance to eat here as it was Friday evening as we had no reservations> The Place was almost full but as we were only two plus some people wanted to sit outside even though was cold we were lucky to find a table > the place being busy was very noisy > we ordered a nice wine plus some ham and later lobsters and we loved it > was a very nice evening we enjoyed it> nothing much to say more as all was good

Good service and a great opportunity to go there. Food is good too Ordered a salad and asked if shrimp could be added, no problem. If I was eating it, it would still be there. I'm not allergic to it but I don't like it. That was just a shame

We were here on Sunday evening. We really had to ask for everything ourselves. Our first drink, the menu, clearing the table, whether we could order a dessert. So really bad. My main course was incorrectly recorded so I received my food when my table companions had almost finished eating. I also wanted fries with that, which were still added to the bill. That could have been free out of leniency for the wait. All in all a bad experience!

As always a great experience. Excellent menu and wine list! Fast service, good vibe! Recommended for both business and private purposes!

The food was tasty and the atmosphere is good. It's not cheap, so you expect a certain service. Unfortunately, the staff could really do a lot better. When we entered, there was no one to speak to us for ten minutes, which is not a warm welcome. We had to talk to the staff all the time while eating to order something. No one came with our coats at checkout. Not even when we got up, for another ten minutes. The host has a certain arrogance about him, which is a shame.

Recently visited again! Top interior. Everything is updated again, they do that every year…. Team is knowledgeable, fast and energetic! Dishes from the classic “school” with a big nod to “the 12 in a dozen” but always better and for everyone's wallet! All dishes are known! Everything in top execution.

We wilden hier met twee kleinzonen (4 en 6) wat drinken na een regenachtige wandeling op de Vughtse Hei (half drie ‘s middags). Toen we vroegen of ze misschien ook iets kleins te eten hadden, zoals bijvoorbeeld een gebakje, kregen we te horen dat ze geen gebak hadden. We vroegen vervolgens om de kaart om te kijken of ze wellicht iets anders hadden. Die kregen we niet, want “ze hadden geen kaart voor kleine hapjes”. Uiteindelijk zei de serveerster dat een kindertosti mogelijk was. Die dan maar besteld. Maar na een hele tijd wachten géén tosti. We zijn er niet meer achterheen gegaan. De lol was er voor ons af.

Voor dergelijke prijs kwaliteit echt een aanrader! Aangenaam verrast toen de rekening kwam. Met z'n 6en gedineerd voor ons mam haar 83jarige verjaardag en zij (en zeker ook wij allemaal) hebben genoten! Dankjulliewel 🙏

Als Vughtenaar kom ik regelmatig bij Brasserie 155. Deze keer afgesproken met een vriendin voor een lunch. We bestellen beiden de ceasar salade voor €15 pp. Toen we de salades kregen vonden we het er wat karig uitzien. Uiteindelijk was het vooral sla, maar nauwelijks kip of andere ingrediënten. Het zou eigenlijk vegetarische salade moeten heten. Gewoon allebei nog honger na deze “lunch”. Gelukkig wat toast erbij besteld, anders nog meer honger. Ik heb dit gemeld bij de serveerster en die beaamde meteen dat het idd wel erg karig was. We kregen gratis een drankje. Nou liever had ik nog wat te eten gehad. Jammer van deze Brasserie. De prijzen stijgen wel flink door, maar aan de andere kant krijg je steeds minder op je bord. Voorlopig laat ik Brasserie 155 even links liggen. Aan de ambiance en het personeel ligt het overigens niet hoor, dat is top!

Erg prettige kaart voor shared dining. Smaakvolle gerechten en knusse ambiance.

We fietsten langs dit terras en het rook zo lekker dat we gestopt zijn om er te lunchen. Het zag er erg duur uit maar dat viel reuze mee, normale prijzen. Mooie kaart en wij namen de salade geitenkaas en die met vis en die waren beide heerlijk.

Betaald best veel voor 2 kroketjes met geroosterde brood.

Prima gegeten, vlotte aardige bediening op een mooi plek. Toetje was het enige minpuntje. Crème brullee was een beetje te slap, maar wel lekker. Al met al een aanrader om bij Brasserie 155 te gaan eten.

Leuke en mooie plek om wat te lunchen, te drinken of te eten. Wel opvallend hoe jong personeel je drankjes op tafel 'gooien' i.p.v. neerzetten. Voor de prijzen die ze vragen verwacht ik iets andere bediening... De jeugd van tegenwoordig lijkt zo ongeïnteresseerd te zijn en hospitality is dan ver te zoeken. Voor de rest fantastische plek maar de jeugd nog wat 'opvoeden'....🙏❣️

Vindt het jammer dat je alles "los" moet bestellen. Bij een "grote" groep bestellingen zou inclusief garnituur een optie moeten kunnen zijn en wellicht een kaart zonder prijzen. Voor de rest prima gegeten. Tempo kunnen sommige aan de hoge kant vinden.

Bediening mag iets meer opletten dat ze niet gaan staan praten met vrienden aan een tafel. Verder goed eten. Wel jammer dat de tonijn steak volledig doorbakken was, wat ervoor zorgt dat het droog wordt.

We zitten hier nu….. Vol verbazing naar onze tonijn pizza te kijken, dit mag geen pizza genoemd worden. Hands down het saaiste gerecht ooit, elke hap is hetzelfde pizzadeeg is gemaakt van croissant korst. Friet is wel lekker, net als het mintje bij het afrekenen. Schorrie morrie restaurant.

Mooie plek aan de rand van Vught, aan het bos. Prima eten en heel gastvrij

Heerlijk restaurant. Jonge bediening en heerlijk eten. We hadden geluk want we hadden niet gereserveerd maar konden toch terecht.

Prachtig ingericht restaurant /brasserie. De tafels zijn zeker fraai, maar met 4 aan 't tafeltje is wat krap. Eten is prima verzorgd. De bediening is uitmuntend.
