Excellent tapas dishes... however, some are much larger than others (both salads were very large in comparison), meaning the last round didn't get finished, which is a shame (and a waste). Also, the tapas of the day were very large in proportion... This causes you to misjudge the size. Otherwise, everything was top-notch. And come early so you can enjoy it to the fullest.

A disappointing experience that forces me to revise my earlier positive review. My parents had made a reservation for 14 people in honor of their 75th birthday. They had stopped by in person to make the reservation and discussed it after a pleasant dinner. It had been agreed that the table would be set indoors in principle, but my mother understood that we would be eating outside if the weather was nice. My mother had communicated this to the family accordingly. We arrived at 5:00 PM as agreed; summer weather, 27 degrees, blue sky. Upon arrival, it turned out the table was set indoors. Sitting outside was no longer an option. Very disappointing. So there you are, sitting inside, hot as a sauna in front of a window where the sun is shining directly on it, with shutters that don't go all the way down. No air conditioning or even a breath of ventilation or wind. Within five minutes, my armpits were sweating profusely. Curious why sitting outside wouldn't be an option—after all, the concept for groups is simpler than the concept for individuals. The dietary preferences communicated were not recorded; my vegetarian wife was served carpaccio. The waiter and chef handled this quickly, and by the next round, everything was fine. Bread boards sat on the table for two and a half hours without being cleared. The table kept getting fuller. Before dessert, we just asked if the table could please be cleared. The dessert didn't go smoothly either. The coffees that had been ordered to accompany the desserts never arrived. When the dessert was served, cutlery was missing. Eventually, we were given soup spoons. All in all, it was a messy experience. The food at this restaurant is always of good quality and tasty.

The food is really good, really tasty. You just really have to arrive on time because the dishes are small and you get one dish at a time. If you are a big eater, you have to make full use of the available time, otherwise you will leave hungry. It is a lesson we have learned and we will definitely come back again (but sooner).

Had a delicious meal with a group of 6 people. The staff is quick and discreet and provides a good explanation of the concept and the specials. The food was all perfect. My table companions had fish and vegetarian dishes, among others, and everything was equally tasty. The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy and pleasant, with a lovely garden overlooking the windmill. Great tapas restaurant, not cheap but good portions of good quality. 5 minutes from the highway, so a good alternative to bypass the traffic jams around Amsterdam. Instead of unlimited tapas, you can choose an à la carte tapas trio with fries.

Upon arrival, we were told that we could sit outside, but only at the front, otherwise no tapas. It took a very long time before someone came to take our drink order. The food was very disappointing; the fish was not fresh and the carpaccio came from the freezer, so it tasted watery and like nothing at all. Tapas are quite pricey, the menu was disappointing, so it is certainly not worth the money. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant.

Had a cup of coffee, but the service was slow and uninterested. We had to wait 15 minutes before someone came to take our order on a quiet terrace, and that was after we had walked to the bar to ask if we could order something. The same story when paying the bill. A glass of water with the coffee was apparently too much to ask as well, because it never arrived despite promises. What a disgrace for a restaurant with service that clearly has no interest in the customer.

At first glance, the restaurant appears rather unassuming. However, the interior is beautiful, with a wonderful ambiance. In the evenings, the food follows a tapas concept, where you can order additional rounds from the menu for a fixed price between 5 pm and 9 pm. The food is beautifully presented and tastes superb. The menu is extensive but not overwhelming. The service is friendly and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed dining here.

Had a lovely lunch with a group of 9 people. Service was great and the dishes were on the table very quickly.

Such a shame. Very nice location but service was terrible. There was only 1 girl for the service but it was not super busy. After 20 minutes we were still not noticed. We moved and then she saw us. Coffee was good, the food less so namely an undercooked flammkuchen. When asked if there was also ice cream she went to see what kind of ice cream. Unfortunately she never came back. Went inside myself to pay, just like a number of other customers by the way who had also been waiting for a while for her to come out... which did not happen. I am certainly not a vinegar-whiz..., but this could not and cannot happen. Again very unfortunate.

Enjoyed the tapas arrangement. It was very tasty and the atmosphere was nice. You sit in a spacious setting, which you don't often see anymore. Round tables are available, which promotes coziness. You order your Tapas here 1 per round. If you are a big eater, you have to sit down on time😉. The last order is at 21:00. Highly recommended to eat here.

The food is quite refined: a nice change from the more traditional menu choices in the area. The concept is small dishes. Some are okay. Some are absolutely delightful!

Quite expensive restaurant. We only had drinks there, coffee and soft drinks for 3.50. We wanted a chocolate with it for 2 euros, but this was not possible, they serve that with dinner. We weren't going to have an apple pie for 6 euros. Looked nice. We sat outside, every now and then you hear a car racing really hard next to you. It is well closed off by greenery so you don't see it and children cannot go to the road, but there is loud noise.

Cozy, informal and well served. Ordered a fanta. Received a coffee, less than 2 seconds later the Fanta was delivered. Only have to pay for the Fanta. Great place to have a drink. Looked cozy. Prices negotiable and the car could be parked in its own parking lot. All in all, a great tent.

Last night we ate at C'est la Vie, it was full house, not surprising, you enter and it is immediately cozy, good friendly service, and we had a bottle of wine on the table within 5 minutes, we selected delicious tapas from the very extensive menu and everything was delicious, there is nothing else to say. Discovered another top restaurant. Now in Uitgeest. C'est,LaVie. A kind of tapas restaurant, but very different and much tastier than the regular tapas places. The dishes are very tasty. There is a lot of choice but not extremely much. Beautiful dishes with steak, duck breast, chorizo ​​and more. The rosé and pinot grigio were tasty. And very mild in taste. Highly recommended. Reservations are required. That says enough😅🍽👍

Atmospheric and comfortable. The brasserie is located in a rural area a little outside Uitgeest. There is also a B&B and a large terrace.

I had my wedding ceremony take place here on 23-11-2023. It could no longer continue at the town hall because of the elections. Luckily I was able to have my ceremony here. It was super beautiful. We also arranged food through them. The food was delicious, the service was great and the atmosphere perfect. We were completely satisfied.

Had a nice dinner at brasserie C'est la vie for my birthday. When you arrive, one of the first things you notice is the nice windmill behind the restaurant (which you also have a view of while dining). That's already nice coming in. Once inside, it is very homely and attractively decorated. After we were able to sit down quickly, we were greeted kindly by one of the waitresses. She also brought us a basket of sandwiches and dips to start with (unfortunately we felt the bread was old, which is a shame) The staff can explain the menu in detail and go through everything well. Then the food... Both highs and unfortunately lows. To start I had the sticky tatsuta, which was fine but not very special (it was served with a sesame-soy sauce but there was not much noticeable soy). The mushroom-truffle sticks were a small disappointment in my opinion. They were nice and crispy but not very filling, I couldn't taste the truffle and the sauce that came with it dominated the entire dish. The salmon rilette, on the other hand, was delicious! Very fresh in taste with a light saltiness (I expected it warm, but it was also delicious cold). The calamaris had a good taste but was slightly overcooked, causing a few pieces to be slightly tougher than the rest. Slow cooked pork belly tasted good and so did the couscous that came with it! (Personally, we thought the combination of flavors together was not very appropriate, but separately very tasty) And the pink gyoza.... perfect! Deliciously crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, good flavor and a beautiful presentation. So some minuses and pluses here and there, but overall a very nice experience! Would definitely come back here again, but with the slightest hope that the minor flaws will be better.

Bitterballen were weak, mustard not spicy. Beers were ok.

What a wonderful place in the always beautiful Uitgeest! Starting with a delicious freshly baked bread roll, your evening starts well. Then the tapas arrangement where all dishes will make your mouth water. With the Gamba's Pill Pill as a standout. Also lots of vegetarian choices that are really good! The desserts are divine, and especially the grilled donut is an absolute must. In short, a beautiful tent to enjoy the lovely terrace and the beautiful people who keep this tent running.

We were fortunate to secure a last minute table for our large family group on Christmas eve after another booking fell through. It turned out well in the end as we had a really lovely evening. Staff were great and very accommodating for vegetarian and children in the group. The set menu was absolutely delicious and everyone enjoyed their meals. Access is very steep so our minibus struggled to get us up there but the view from the terrace was stunning. A lovely change to Thai food!

Had tapas here tonight. It is a small-scale restaurant with, I estimate, about 12 tables. That makes it intimate. It is very attractively decorated. A parking lot where you can park for free and also a spacious bicycle shed. You can also eat here a la carte on certain days. But we went for the tapas package at €37.50 pp excluding drinks. There is a tapas menu with meat dishes, vegetarian dishes and fish dishes. You can eat unlimited tapas from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., 1 dish per round and you can also order 1 side dish per round, such as fries. You pay separately for dessert. The dishes are all beautifully presented and all very tasty. The waiter regularly visits the table to ensure everything is as desired and takes the order in a PDA. So no writing cards, QR code or iPad, just the controls. Very nice. We dined for 2.5 hours. And a delicious meal. We'll definitely come here. Back.

Het was onze trouwdag, dat werd gezien en op ingespeeld. Lieve mensen in de bediening, en de eigenaren ook. Een vriendelijk woord en gezellig samenzijn. Heerlijk en veel te veel gegeten, dat zegt genoeg lijkt me. Bonnie en Gem het was heerlijk en ontzettend gezellig.

Heerlijk gegeten, met ons ploegje van het werk. Mooie zaak, goed en vriendelijk personeel, die een lekkere tapas op tafel zetten, met een ruime keus en variatie. Voor ieder wat wils!

Vele goede berichten gehoord, en nu zelf maar de proef op de som genomen. En het klopt: heerlijk gegeten met allemaal kleine gerechtjes die om te smullen waren. Ook onze kids vonden het heerlijk, ipv eens een frikadel met patat:) Een plek om vaker terug te komen!

Wij hebben met 4 personen het tapas menu gegeten en het was geweldig heel veel keuze in vlees vis en vegetarische gerechten leuke presentatie en alles was heerlijk zeker voor herhaling vatbaar! Bediening is ook heel goed vlot en vriendelijk komen graag hier terug
