Hele leuke lokatie met mooie buitenplaats en daarmee heb je het dan ook wel gehad. Bestelde de Crispy Chicken salade met volgens de kaart krokante kip, salade, kaas en honing mosterd dressing en kreeg een berg van de goedkoopste slamelange met daarop 6 stukken gecremeerde kip en eroverheen gezigzagde kerrie mayonaise. Nog nooit zo’n inspiratieloze salade gezien. Zeker gezien de prijs van 16,50. Toen ze vroeg of het gesmaakt had en ik aangaf dat het op zijn zacht gezegd niet helemaal overeen kwam met de kaart werd er enigsinds bevreemd gereageerd en zou het worden doorgegeven. Verder is kwam men er niet meer op terug en moest ook gewoon het volle pond afrekenen, wat we hebben gedaan maar ons zien ze hier nooit meer terug.

Hello the barn, I just wanted to let you know that I came home yesterday with a stomach ache. The contact form on your website unfortunately does not work. I have a gluten allergy and your staff found that annoying (probably difficult). My questions were answered with a sigh with 'I think it is gluten free'. I stopped being difficult and just ate it. Maybe it is good to understand that I will have to pay for that for the next 2 weeks with stomach ache, fatigue, depression and other discomforts. I hope that you can give future guests with allergies a better experience with this feedback.

Good breakfast, really good breakfast plus nice service

First visit = last visit. Gastronomically speaking: less than 1 star. We entered an empty Barn around noon on a weekday. (We were the only people.) We come in, we are seen, say hello but they ignore us. Because the waiter behind the bar is talking to a woman about business operations. (The waiter also gnaws on his little finger and other nails in full view.) We are then made to wait for 9 minutes. Waiter calmly finishes his conversation with his colleague. Just as we wanted to walk away, the waiter strolled over to us and took our simple coffee order. The coffee had a terribly unpleasant aftertaste: very burnt and smelled like an ashtray. Machine is clearly not cleaned here. Drain water probably tastes better. (Hours later we still have a bad aftertaste.) The cappuccino shouldn't even bear the name as far as we're concerned. The Barn is dingy, messy and dusty. The staff is unhygienic but above all not gastronomic.

Had breakfast here last Sunday, atmosphereless, noisy, no more croissants at 9.30 and they were not replenished. No forks for the toppings, not really hygienic. And I don't think the floor near the coffee maker and press machine has been cleaned in months. I had sent them an email but had not received a response, so I decided to mention it here as well. This breakfast, together with an overnight stay at Hotel Heere where no one is at the reception and you have to register by telephone, was not really hospitable. In any case, we will not be coming back here again.

Ate here for the first time tonight after we often come here for a drink on Saturdays (including coffee and cake). We think this is a pleasant location, so we decided to have dinner here as well. We had booked a table for 2 + baby through the hotel (apparently the number of the corresponding hotel is listed on Google for the restaurant?). Then at the table, we had ordered some spreads with bread in advance. This tasted good. Then came (after a long wait) the main course. I ordered chicken satay and my girlfriend the hamburger. The chicken satay was ok, only the hamburger was delivered raw. This was said to be medium, but then the meat is not red and tastes raw. The hamburger went back to the kitchen with an apology. The chicken satay was now gone, and I had given our little man a bottle. But still there was no hamburger. Fortunately there were fries, but they were rock hard... we asked where the hamburger was. It said the grill was on low and that's why it took a long time... ok?? We then indicated that we no longer wanted the hamburger. Then asked for the bill, it was indicated that the hamburger did not have to be paid for. Seems quite logical to me, this never came again. But a real apology and indicating that something will be deducted from the bill, or offering something in compensation... that didn't happen. This was our first time for dinner and also the last time... will we ever have coffee again? No idea .. Oh yeah, and changing the baby? So that is not possible here. There is no changing room for a baby here..

Closed Sign was open! The internet is also open. The door does not open upon entry People on the other side are laughing at you, but no one comes to the door. Staff walk around and do nothing, well then leave again! Very unwelcoming.

The Restaurant looks a bit like a cozy large living room. The salmon salad was delicious 👌

We ate here with 3 people we were not satisfied with the food The boef Bourguignon floated a layer of oil and little meat The spare ribs looked black on the bottom with 3 people a small bowl of lettuce Then I had pineapple with ice cream and whipped cream That was 1 scoop of ice cream a tuft of whipped cream and some pineapple that cost me €9.50 In total we spent €135.00 We have eaten at your place several times But this was the last time

Good food, nice rooms, a little unstable service

Yesterday evening I ate here for the first and last time with my husband and son... Reception a bit messy, young but friendly staff. The place was quite full. Ordered starter and main course, good taste, nicely presented. Plates almost empty, I see the curtain move at the window right across from me at 2 meters distance. A mouse walks towards the ceiling and stays in the corner. Walked to the bar, indicated and the boy says to call his manager. In the meantime, the rest of my family also sees the curtain move and the mouse walking. Waited 5 minutes, the boy does not go to his manager. My husband walks to the bar, tells a girl that there is a mouse walking. She also says to call her manager, but again nothing. The mouse is still visible at the window. Then I got up, paid the bill at the bar and left.

Quality does not correspond to the high prices. Dishes were disappointing in terms of taste and meat quality. Staff is not very enthusiastic and service is disappointing. They barely look at you to see if you want something to drink. No second visit for me.

The service was inexperienced, the mocktail was tasteless. A glass full of ice cubes and some sparkling. The boy behind the bar was looking at our table the whole time, as if he had to keep an eye on us. There are nicer places to have a drink with friends, never here again

Service and atmosphere of the restaurant were excellent, but when serving the main course I immediately noticed that the plates were served piping hot, the spareribs were not grilled but warmed up in an oven and with a cheap sauce, which was a shame!

Our dinner at the Schuur last Wednesday was not good. The tenderloin was definitely not a tenderloin but a strange crumpled steak with a quite tough part. Sent back to the kitchen disappointed. Got a new one. Although not a tough part, but not a tenderloin either. And the amount of truffle gravy that came with it was minimal. Not a shot glass full yet. The tomahawk steak was also a disappointment. The amount of edible meat was not enough for two people. And you pay 72.50 euros for that. While the photo on the website looked very tempting. The sauces were good though. The fries were fried extremely hard and we also sent them back. The new portion was better cooked, but not really tasty. The salad was also not tasty and we did not touch it after one bite. Our complaints were “made up for” with a free cup of coffee…..

Had dinner at Brasserie De Barn for the first time with my best friend. Reservation went smoothly and easily online. This is also the only positive thing that can be said. Tuesday evening August 20, 2024; Entry was a bit unclear, you immediately walk into the middle of the restaurant. The interior and surroundings are genuinely nice Staff visible at bar but showing no response of welcome or reception. For that reason we walk there ourselves and indicate our reservation. We are pointed to a table by the window from a distance, okay. First drinks are served quickly and starter and main course are included. Then it takes a very long time before our (cold) starter arrives. A staff member then first brings the main course, and takes it away again when we indicate that we have ordered a starter. Then it turns out that the starter was never imported. The waiter apologizes and offers a drink on the house. Then it takes a very long time before the actual starter arrives. Staff indicate that it is busy, there is cooking for 2 restaurants and there are few staff (2 people) in the kitchen. The cold fish starter is tasty and delicious. This is followed by the main course, which comes in 2 stages Basket of fries, bowl of salad, sauce and jar of apple compote are served. There are still cutlery and a napkin in front of us. No signs . This is followed by a break of at least 25 minutes, where we heat up the fries. No idea where our meat and fish are. Once again we reported our findings to the service, with the same arguments about crowds, occupancy, etc. When the main course actually arrives, it looks like it has been reheated after the first serving attempt. The prawns are incredibly tough, the boeuf bourguignon is reasonable. The side dishes have already been eaten due to the dramatic turnaround time. All in all a very bad first experience at this restaurant. Actually just a shameful amateurish situation, and I honestly don't say that easily. The final bill was nicely reduced by the waiter in question, I must say that honestly. However, as a customer you really don't care about the arguments why things are going this way. If the capacity of customers is too large for the kitchen that apparently has to serve 2 restaurants... then adjust your number of tables accordingly

We ordered a starter and a main course. After an hour we got our main course, they forgot to bring the starter. So main course back to the kitchen. After half an hour still no starter...asking again...coming soon ..another half hour later the starter arrived. Forty-five minutes later, fries and salad arrived... without a main course... half an hour later a main course arrived... the scampi were so tough and extremely hot due to the reheating of the meal served 2 hours earlier. Not to eat. We very kindly received the drinks on the house and I did not have to pay for the tough scampi. But what a disappointment...Going home hungry after 3 hours. Never again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently had the pleasure of trying the mussels in white wine at Brasserie de Schuur and they were simply delicious! The preparation was perfect and the taste was excellent. The service was also remarkable - the staff was caring and attentive. I highly recommend Brasserie de Schuur, especially if you love mussels. A great place to enjoy delicious food and feel well looked after. I will definitely come again!

Nice cafe in the center of Raamsdonksphere. Strange decor but certainly not unpleasant. Good chicken satay, although the sauce was a bit dry. The three of us got two baskets of fries and a bowl of salad. Was sufficient in itself but looks a bit strange. Apple compote is very tasty.

Had breakfast here in connection with an overnight stay at Hotel Heere. Very nicely decorated, nice atmosphere. Breakfast was extensive with delicious fresh orange juice. Staff were very friendly. This lady helped me a lot when I asked for paracetamol because of a headache.

Both opted for the hamburger sandwich which was really delicious. In this restaurant, the decision is made to place a plate on the table that both table companions can use. With a basket of fries, a bowl of salad and a bowl of delicious apple sauce. Nice concept. Prevents food waste. If anyone wants anything else, order more....because it is actually not enough for two normal eaters. However, it turned out that what we had ordered extra had to be paid once (not 2 or 3 times). In addition, the mayonnaise with the fries was also charged separately. We believe that when you eat a meal in a restaurant, the side dishes should be sufficient for the number of people sitting at the table and that a hamburger with fries comes with mayonnaise.... a 'simple' hamburger sandwich then secretly suddenly becomes pricey even though it is not mentioned anywhere on the menu. It wasn't busy, but we still had to wait 45 minutes for the starter. That in itself is not a problem, but please communicate this with the customer. The starter with garlic shrimp was very bare, there was nothing with it. The bouillabaisse was also not great because there were no pieces of fish in it. It looked like the fish had been ground. It was mainly small pieces of fish. The taste was good though. It lacked structure.

Nice location. Quiet and comfortably furnished. Hamburgers are tasty. Staff is friendly and patient. If you fancy a tasty bite and a quiet environment, this is definitely recommended.

The restaurant looks nice and cozy. And the staff is friendly, but we did not have a good meal. We were a group and a few of us ordered a steak. Unfortunately that was a bad choice. It was way too salty, so much so that it was not healthy to eat. After mentioning this to the staff, we were told that it was passed on to the kitchen. Maybe people who come to eat after us won't be bothered by this comment. Only we had nothing here. Unfortunately, not a pleasant experience

We were greeted and asked for the room number of our overnight stay. In itself it would have been thoughtful if we had been told that we could sit somewhere and that, for example, the breakfast buffet was there. But we'll be fine. The offer was excellent! Fresh orange juice, fresh (chocolate) croissants, hot chocolate, scrumbled eggs, cold cuts, cheese, yogurt... it was all there! Had a very delicious breakfast and a very nice start to the day! 🙏🏻 Also dog friendly 👍🏻

The place is beautifully and attractively decorated. Staff are friendly. Food tastes good, but not special. Menu has few vegetarian options, none vegan.

We had a delicious lunch here in honor of registered partnership. A fresh tomato soup in advance and then sandwiches with, for example, salmon, carpaccio or chicken fillet. We got bread with a croquette and for our youngest they had a croissant and chocolate roll. Top care and very friendly staff!

We had dinner with 6 adults and a child, it was good, but I would like to point out a few points. When we got home we took a good look at the receipt, a senior ice cream 1 scoop in a coffee bowl was 7.50 euros, and the mayonnaise with the fries was also charged, and finally a point of attention, the children's ice cream is also a scoop of 5.50 euros. not bad, but dress it up a bit with some whipped cream and colored dots so that the child can beam when he or she gets this, this is not really criticism but more like some tips to make it more fun for everyone, otherwise highly recommended , good luck.

On the hunt for another car today. A few weeks ago I broke down my trusty Citroën C3 XTR. Death and mortal sin.....but anyway. So now a day of looking at cars. I wanted a Peugeot 407 Coupé, but my girlfriend thought it was a flashy car and completely wrong considering my age, so I looked at a "Viagra" C3, the C4 Picasso. After a tiring day heading home, the Triangel in Raamsdonksveer programmed into the navigation. We can always eat there, but it was closed until March 4 due to... carnival. Quite disappointed with misery but drove into the center of Raamsdonksveer. Quite by chance, we decided to stop by the Brasserie for a bite to eat. The outside is a bit disappointing, but the terrace on the side and the interior decoration more than makes up for it. Ordered a tomato soup with meatballs in advance and a steak as a hot snack. My girlfriend still eats vegetarian, but there was virtually nothing on the menu that came close to vegetarian..... However, people were not afraid to prepare a vegetarian pasta..👍. The soup was nice and hot, just like I want it everywhere, not bland soup and a nice bowl full. Very good taste, spring onions and more than enough balls. The steak was a beautiful piece of meat! It kept me busy for a while. Well baked and beautiful in color. I opted for a pepper sauce, and this was a real pepper sauce, very tasty and peppery. Nice tasty garnish. Everything is nice and at the right temperature. The pasta was also very good, lots of fresh vegetables and fresh pasta. Simply delicious and good food for a very reasonable price. Pay half as much at the nearest pub for much less steak. 19.50 for this steak, including fries and garnish. Very nice service, it said, it might have been a little faster. But we had a nice meal and we had time to ourselves, and you should have that in Brabant or Z-Limburg. This is now also in my Outlook agenda to visit again.

Nice place...service ok...little feeling with catering, but friendly. Cola without a glass.. alcohol-free cocktail Nojito (without lime without mint) I had requested with Sprite instead of Spa.. in my opinion pure Sprite.. so expensive.. and food was on the table very quickly.. chicken satay tasted little like chicken. mr decoration plate was ok..quick bite with decent bill..

Mooi sfeervol restaurant met goede eenvoudige niet al te uitgebreide kaart wat zeer goed is bij keuzestress. Voorzien van suggestie voor wijn,bier ,andersins.

Goede bediening en je kunt er rustig eten. En het eten smaakt prima. Alleen de wijn is prijzig.

Wir waren Gast im Hotel Heere. Mega leckeres Frühstück und einen Abend dort gegessen. Burger mit Pommes. Große Portion und sehr lecker.

Leuke sfeer, vriendelijk personeel en heerlijke lamskoteletjes gegeten. Zelfs de groente was erg lekker. Alleen de tip om te weten wat er op je kaart staat, opdat je dat kan uitleggen 😉

Heerlijk gegeten , lekker buiten kunnen zitten en zeer vriendelijke en attente medewerkers. Rijk gevulde vissoep en een malse biefstuk gegeten .

Heerlijk gegeten. De hamburger is een aanrader net als het 12 uurtje wat erg leuk geserveerd wordt. Vriendelijke bediening. En even switchen van tafeltje, omdat het buiten toch wat fris was, is geen enkel probleem.

Een flinke tegenvaller Met vrienden die in Hotel Heere overnachten gegeten bij de Schuur. Dat was een tegenvaller te weinig personeel bij vol terras De biestukken waren niet goed, die moesten rood zijn, ze waren doorbakken na een klacht nieuwe gekregen deze waren nog niet zoals het hoort te zijn. De sliptong en Rib Roast waren wel goed. De friet was hard, en bij de salade en de appelcompote zaten lepels zodat je het met je eigen vork op je bord kon doen, zo zo lekker als je met zijn 4e van een schaaltje moet doen. De ober deed zijn best maar helaas voor ons was het geen lekkere maaltijd.

Helaas slecht eten voor veel te veel geld. Bediening gaf aan niet veel te kunnen doen aan specifieke wensen mbt eten.Tussen opnemen bestelling en daadwerkelijk opdienen zat voor 8 man bijna een uur. (oorzaak : te weinig personeel?) Salades dropen in de dressing (terug gestuurd ) en vlees was niet gaar. Erg jammer want het terras op binnenplaatsje is erg gezellig .

Klungelig bediening, niet hulpvaardig helaas. We vroegen om vega lunch, maar de bediener zei dat ze dat niet hebben. Er was ook geen mogelijkheid om wel vega te maken werd gezegd. Dar vind ik anno 2023 echt niet kunnen. En rotmuziek, herrie. Prijs/ kwaliteit niet Ok.

Goede kwaliteit & meer dan voldoende.

Sliptong niet gaar, mosselen maar een halve portie en duidelijk onervaren bediening die wel goed wilden maar de ervaring misten. Naar aanleiding van onze klachten is 1 hoofdgerecht niet in rekening gebracht en dat was wat ons betreft voldoende. Al met al een teleurstellende ervaring die wat ons betreft voorlopig niet voor herhaling vatbaar is, deze slaan we voorlopig over.

Goed eten tegen een faire prijs.

Het eten was goed en een heerlijk terrasje in de avondzon. Het personeel moet veel leren. Het drinken kun je beter brengen met een dienblad dan dat je de fles wijn onder je arm stopt en de glazen in je handen houdt. Niet zo fris en netjes.

Lekker lunch op het het mooie terras op. Wij komen zeker terug

Leuk terras om even uit te rusten, heel gemoedelijke sfeer, je voelt je er meteen thuis

Gezellige sfeer, zeer lekker gegeten, vriendelijke bediening en normale prijzen. Fijn voor een avondje uit, niet zomaar voor een snelle hap. Ik begrijp alle negatieve commentaren niet zo goed, voor ons was het top, ook het bijhorend Hotel Heere, met een geweldig ontbijt in dezelfde locatie.

Heerlijk gegeten en fijne bediening.

Op zaterdag avond hier gegeten. We hadden niet gereserveerd maar gelukkig was er nog een tafel vrij. Eten is van prima kwaliteit en een leuke gevarieerde kaart. De prijs kwaliteit is prima. Leuke vriendelijke bediening die ondanks de drukte genoeg aanndacht voor je nemen. We hebben genoten en komen zeker nog een keer terug.

De Schuur heb ik een jasr geleden bezocht. Er heerste toen personeelstekort. Het eten is ok, maar voor die kwaliteit te duur. Service was niet goed. Sfeer was ook niet echt goed.Misschien is het nu verbeterd, aangezien het nog maar het begin van het bestaan van de Schuur was. Eettent Timmy daarentegen biedt een gezellige atmosfeer, leuke bediening en goed heerlijk eten voor een normale prijs. Dezelfde eigenaar maar Timmy is stukken beter.
