Brasserie Perron 4 in Wijk 00 Simpelveld

We had a delicious meal with a group of 15. The service was fast and efficient.

A beautiful location that perfectly complements a day at the Miljoenenlijn. The service is excellent. Our young daughter was stung by a wasp on her hand, and the owner helped with the treatment by sucking the stinger out of her hand. She knew exactly what to do. Our daughter and we were treated incredibly kindly. Thank you all!

We were warmly welcomed by one of the young staff members who did their best and were friendly. The terrace and restaurant were neat and nicely decorated. Unfortunately, there weren't really any gluten-free options. At least, they weren't on the menu, and when we asked if the pulled pork nachos were gluten-free (they weren't, unfortunately), we didn't get any other advice. So I ordered a fried egg without bread. The taco sandwich was tasty, but a bit lacking in sauce. The grilled cheese sandwich was disappointing. It was still completely white and soggy, as if it had come straight from the freezer. The food was very affordable, though. I would definitely eat there again. The website still shows the old menus and prices, so they differ slightly.

Warm summer day. The train did not run due to heat protocol. Amazingly tasty meatball (2 pieces!!) on a fresh "stick". And a more than tasty Dame Blanche. Friendly owners in a beautiful nostalgic environment. Extensive menu.

Today we did the Hap en Stap arrangement. It was a bit chaotic but it must have been busy. The million line was running today and there was a reenactment of WWII. Interesting to see. The staff here was friendly. Nice snack platter. And after the nice 8km walk a nice busy pie. The brasserie is really great.

Met een woord: Chagrijn. Over de kwaliteit van eten kan ik niets zeggen. Alleen over het chagrijn van de leidinggevende (eigenaar?). Het pin-apparaat van het souvenirwinkeltje ernaast lag er uit. Omdat ik geen cash bij me had, een kleinkind een souvenir had beloofd en al uitgekozen had, heb ik de vraag gesteld aan het restaurant of ik 50 euro zou kunnen pinnen. Was de bediening vriendelijk, was het antwoord van de leidinggevende (eigenaar?) in 1 woord chagrijnig. Wellicht dat er een juridisch fundament onder zit (wat ik persoonlijk niet geloof) was het antwoord: nee, we zijn twee verschillende organisaties. Punt. Dat begrijp ik maar dat wil nog niet zeggen dat je me niet kunt helpen. Kortom toch maar niet hier gegeten maar in het dorp iets verder op. Waar wel een vriendelijke bediening was.

Lekker eten, fijne bediening en prijs-kwaliteit is prima. Porties zijn goed. Gaan we zeker weer naar toe als we in de buurt zijn.

Nice and cozy brasserie, Delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes. Friendly and helpful owners and staff. Also the terrace with a view of beautiful historic trains is always very cozy. Definitely recommended, 5 out of 5 stars.

In a word, fantastic 👌 Had breakfast for 2 days at Christmas. (buffet) Lots of choice in sandwiches... fried egg...scrambled eggs...fillings and you name it. Everything was freshly prepared. Service and the kitchen brigade a big 10 for you. Santa Claus also came by with sweets for the Kids. Overall enjoyed it. Ps nice coffee 😀

Ordered food! After half an hour I asked where it was; it had not reached the kitchen. Then just a piece of pie. They come back 5 minutes later with the message that it is gone!! No sorry! Badly organized business. Rude staff! Find something else in the area! Avoid!!

Had breakfast here upon invitation. Enough types of bread and rolls, choice of different types of eggs. And you should definitely try it for the price. We like it simple and the nice people who work there are very customer friendly.

Leuke plek aan het spoor vh miljoenenlijntje, vriendelijk personeel, via Smart market ontbijt geregeld. Ruime keus qua ei, brood en beleg met koffie, thee en jus d'orange. Komen zeker weer een keer terug.

For the €25 paid it was meager and not really special. Escape game was fun, but order could be better.

Well that was a great breakfast. Enjoyed various types of bread and rolls, yus d'orange, 3 types of toppings, egg dish of your choice, sweets and yoghurt with fruit, plenty of coffee or tea. And very friendly service. Highly recommended!!

Spontaneously looking forward to breakfast on Saturday morning. We end up at platform 4. It was already quite full with people and we had no reservation. Still received a delicious breakfast. What a great service. With the sun, the smile of the service and the enjoyment of breakfast, I say a success!

Beautiful complex, where the steam train also stops. Food and service are excellent, definitely recommended, with nice owners.

It was very crowded and cramped, so there was barely enough room to pull the chair out from under the table and sit down. The reservation with lunch was part of a package together with the train journey. This included soup, small warm dishes such as fried dumplings and mini pies, and sandwiches. Confectionery and fruit. The latter was available for self-service, although we were very annoyed that there was no cutlery or fresh plates at the counter and many guests had to touch the rolls with their fingers. The price also included water, orange juice and coffee.

Had a super and extensive breakfast with several people. Too much for breakfast. It was delicious and sufficient, but............ When we asked the waiter if we could take the leftover bread with us, the answer was; NO, sandwiches are reused for the soup of the day and the slices of bread went back to the kitchen (Probably also for reuse). Then don't serve too much bread/rolls or make breakfast a little more expensive. Sad.

Nice breakfast and well taken care of, actually too much. Shame that you weren't allowed to take too many rolls, they didn't do that even though you paid for them, it's strange that they throw them away anyway, I assume!, you come and sit there, but you have to make a reservation for this.

Had a good lunch with tasty food and friendly staff

We had dinner at brasserie platform 4 before taking a summer evening express ride on the Mikjoenen line. There is a fairly extensive menu. We had to order drinks inside and pick them up ourselves. We also had to order the food inside. We opted for a salmon sandwich, a hot dog and an egg roll. We ended up having to wait 45 minutes for this, even though we also wanted to take a ride on the train. However, the food itself was tasty and good portions. The prices were also reasonable. All in all, the food was good, but the waiting times were a bit less.

Photo is a deception, all rolls are soft, none are hard. bread was dry, 1 thin narrow piece of fricando with which you can fill less than a quarter of a sandwich, a piece of see-through cheese and 1 slice of cheap ham. Everything was served on a board, which is not really tasty in terms of toppings and the raw vegetables were on the board with the sandwiches on top or against them. I could go on and on... NEVER again

A beautiful location, very historic, beautifully cared for and maintained. Nice atmosphere with the steam trains running by. Quality of food as we experienced was excellent. My only comment would be the staff seemed overwhelmed by the amount of patrons. There seemed to be no one in charge giving direction to the somewhat young and obviously inexperienced waitstaff. This however did not cloud our experience.

Nieuwe uitbaters sinds vorig jaar mei. Het was een op en top verzorgd ontbijt. Alles super goed vers en het was eigenlijk veel te veel. 😁 In plaats van de yoghurt met fruit mij op t einde nog een kop koffie gevraagd. Was geen probleem. Personeel is jong en nog een tikkeltje onervaren maar heel vriendelijk en dat is de hoofdzaak want iedereen moet ook de kans krijgen aldoende te leren. T is voor de prijs echt een aanrader en wij gaan er binnenkort ook eens heen voor de kleine kaart😁

Modern yet old-fashioned decor, living room atmosphere, friendly staff, even when it's busy. And if something goes wrong, it is simply repaired without any hassle👍

In one word, great...coffee...I got a dollop of whipped cream with a cookie...that's how it should be, and good coffee...go for it...really tasty!

We made a reservation for breakfast on a rainy Saturday. The location is of course special. It was a well-organized complete breakfast and for a very reasonable price. We were received and served by the very friendly owner. We will definitely go back for lunch! And then we immediately bring some sun 😉

I ordered an egg roll (with egg well done!) and an orange. I immediately stated that I wanted to receive the food and drinks at the same time. But that wasn't possible, because blah, blah, blah, I immediately had to mean the orange. With a lot of effort I managed to prevent her from opening the orange bottle. When I received the food I asked to open the sinsas bottle. She then exchanged it for a cold bottle, fresh from the refrigerator. The bouncer was not cooked through, the cook did not have time for it or it had been forgotten.

Nice location, friendly service, delicious tapas platter. For dessert a Cafe Benedictin in a matching cup.

Wij hadden een arrangement voor de Miljoenenlijn en daar hoorde een lunch bij perron 4 bij. Onze jongste zoon mocht nog gratis mee dus voor hem kon je geen arrangement dus lunch bespreken. Voor hem werden frietjes gemaakt en appelsap geregeld. Hier vroegen ze maar €2 voor. De kids kregen zelfs nog een ijsje! Heel aardig personeel, lunch was heerlijk en goed geregeld. Echt een aanrader.

Gezellig , goede bediening. Lekker eten.

Wij waren hier met het braderie weekend, dus misschien niet representatief. Maar vandaag kon men de drukte niet aan. We hebben bijna een uur op ons pistoletje brie moeten wachten. ‘Pistoletje’ bleek toen ook nog eens een slap kadetje te zijn. En daardoor minder lekker en veel te duur. Station en Entourage wel erg leuk.

Vanmiddag heerlijk gebrunched met 7 personen, de gastheer en gastvrouw bedienen met de Limburgse gastvrijheid. Heerlijke eigen gemaakte soep

Heerlijk om even een hapje te doen en wat te drinken na terugkeer van een rit met de Miljoenenlijn. Er is voldoende keuze en je zit indien gewenst, lekker in de schaduw onder een parasol.

Samen met de Miljoenenlijn heeft de brasserie onze bruiloft georganiseerd. Een dag om nooit meer te vergeten. Zeer vriendelijke en gastvrije uitbaters die zich hard hebben ingezet. Alles was perfect tot in de puntjes verzorgd!

Na een tochtje met de miljoenenlijn hebben we hier een bakkie gedaan. De koffie was erg lekker, de latte macchiato ook en de service top. Mooie tent! Leuk aangekleed. Knus. Schoon. Echt prettig om even te zitten. De kids kregen een snoepje/koekje en waren blij. Dan is het goed toch?!

Wonderful location at an old train station. A brasserie that serves lunch, food is simple but delicious. The service is extraordinary, they go all the way to make you feel at home. They even handed out ice creams to everyone at the terrace. Combine this place with a visit to the “miljoenenlijn”, a Train ride with an old steam train!

Mooie locatie in het stationsgebouw van station Simpelveld, hoofdstation van de miljoenenlijn. Eten is van zeer goede kwaliteit, ruime porties, en voor iedereen is er wel wat te vinden op de kaart. Goed te combineren met een ritje met de stoomtrein of railbus voor een leuk dagje uit.

Vandaag ons familieuitstapje afgesloten bij Brasserie Perron 4. Een mooie, historische locatie op het oudste internationale station van Nederland. Op aanvraag kregen wij voor 19 personen een heerlijk buffet voorgeschoteld (met voorgerecht en toetje) voor een zeer betaalbare prijs. De uitbaters Ad en Ella werken met veel passie voor het horecavak en zorgen ervoor dat het je aan niets ontbreekt. Gezelligheid en bourgondisch genot staat bij hen voorop. Het eten was vers en gevarieerd. Daarnaast kan Ad veel vertellen over de historie van het Miljoenenlijntje en het station. Een aanrader!
