Delicious cappuccino and fun toys for kids!

Yesterday we started the shopping Sunday in Roosendaal with a nice drink after the long journey (an hour). Nice shop, delicious sausage roll. And super friendly help from SIEM!

Every two weeks we ordered three loaves of bread and some sausage rolls from here. But three times they gave our bread to someone else. Their answer was that something had gone wrong—well, only three times in a row. They had an old man take care of everything, who clearly couldn't handle it.

Once and never again. -Glasses on the floor and glasses on the table. Not exactly service for people like me who are wheelchair-bound. -I was chased by another customer with a walker. -Ordered a latte macchiato, the sauce was like water. -Lipstick on the cappuccino cup. -The table was still dirty from the previous customers. -Sugar was in a dirty bottle. -My mother was approached by a man about us accidentally blocking the remaining chair from the restroom. She honestly didn't realize there were restrooms there, but we were looking at the floor and then wanted to join him. -The cappuccino was reasonably tasty. -The cheesecake was reasonably tasty.

We had lunch here this morning. The waitress was arrogant and constantly giving us arrogant looks. The hot meat was a bit meager for two sandwiches. The children's toasted sandwich made with brown bread and seeds wasn't a hit! The carpaccio was very good, though! The prices were high for what you get.

This makes me happy. Farmer omelette made with passion. 😋 Cozy lunchroom and great service. The price-quality ratio is also great. I'd love to come back.

Simple but delicious lunch. Friendly waiter. We had the trio sandwich and the spicy chicken sandwich (not overly spicy).

We just had two cappuccinos with oat milk here, and ate the omelet, carpaccio, and pancakes, and we were thrilled. Super delicious, great value for money, and very friendly and helpful service! We'd love to come back, highly recommended! Our dog even got a dog biscuit, great service!

Delicious sandwiches and hospitable staff

There were four of us. When we placed our order, we were out of apple turnovers. We ordered something else, but they only had two left, so we ordered something else. Two people at our table received their food, but we had to wait at least 20 minutes for ours to arrive. So eating together as a family of four wasn't possible. P.S. Apple strudel requires warm, lukewarm vanilla sauce, but it arrived cold, which is a real shame.

This afternoon we sat down at this lunchroom, intending to have a nice lunch. It was moderately busy, and there were still several free tables. The waitress acted as if she didn't notice us. When two older women sat down next to us a little later, she came to check on them relatively quickly. We were ignored again, and so we left. We're certainly not impatient people, but when you're serving the table next to us (which is almost next to ours), you've certainly noticed that we haven't been able to order yet. Never again! Judging by the comments below, we're not the only ones to have experienced this.

What terrible service! After more than 10 minutes and two waves, someone finally came to take our order. Coffee with pastries and a cheese roll, and coffee with an "uitsmijter" (fried eggs). After 15 minutes, finally, coffee... but the rest took another good half hour. How can it take 45 minutes to make an "uitsmijter" (fried eggs). I think pastries are supposed to come with coffee, but that still took a good half hour after the coffee arrived. And if it had been busy, but no. Half the tables were occupied. It wasn't our first time here, but it was our last.

Yesterday at Saar's. We go there regularly. Sam is incredibly friendly to everyone...compliments to this young boy. This time the croquettes were not warm inside..but of course I got new warm croquettes...and to make up for it...2 delicious cinnamon powder cookies for home...I personally find the food delicious...we always take 12 o'clock with a homemade egg salad sandwich...my stomach was full. Delicious soup too..I had green pesto...only praise....

Had lunch here on Thursday 19th June and never again! There was a lot of smoking on the terrace and sitting inside was not an option. The salad that was served with the bread did not have a drop of dressing on it, took a while, first got 1 slice of bread with brie that was warmed up too early in the kitchen and the rest came 15 min. Later.

We come here regularly with our son and daughter. For the children there are always toys that they can grab and the staff is always very friendly. Breakfast, lunch and just having a coffee is very nice with you! My son asks every week when we are going to Saar again.. that says enough haha! See you soon ;)

Very helpful and welcoming staff who greeted us and showed us our table. Staff were happy to translate the menu in English. Kids were happy with their food. Limited vegetarian options hence 4 star. Lovely place well decorated in the middle of the market.

Great service and excellent food and coffee. I've had coffee and food there many times, and I'm personally a big fan of their chai latte! The breakfast is also very tasty, and I've often eaten there with (former) colleagues and caught up (the atmosphere is always great too). We were once having breakfast outside when a wasp started bothering us, so they gave us a gadget to keep the wasps away from our food, which worked well. That was a really good solution!

I went to this lunchroom for the first time this afternoon. The first thing I noticed was that the table was still dirty from the previous guests—it happens—I wiped it myself. Service was prompt, but due to the system crashing, we had to repeat our order. Unfortunately, when we received our food, it turned out the order hadn't been corrected. My table companion didn't want to say anything because it would have had to be remade, and then we'd have to eat separately. He ordered a farmer's omelet with chicken and vegetables but received one without chicken. I ordered the sourdough sandwich with spicy chicken, but it wasn't spicy at all, just sweet. The speculoos latte we ordered was also very weak. Too bad, we'll be eating lunch elsewhere from now on. The place looks quite cozy.

Had a delicious meal today and enjoyed the great service. We didn't have to wait long and felt really welcome. The customer is clearly number one here! We ordered apple turnovers with coffee, and what a treat – the apple turnovers were fresh out of the oven and tasted fantastic. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. In short, highly recommended! We will definitely come back here.

We ate and drank something here for the first and last time. For example, we ordered a hot meat sandwich from a very nice young man. When it was served, it turned out to be just a sandwich. Have said something about this. Changed it right away. The meat was then thrown on a bun. Which really didn't make it any better. We also indicated this at checkout. But the young lady did not answer that. He just smiled very sweetly. But the menu actually has hot meat sandwiches. No hot meat sandwich

Just after twelve o'clock we sat on the terrace, ordered something to drink and looked for something to eat. Waited a long time for a latte macchiato and tea, had to wait even longer on the tea tray to choose the type of tea, asked three times and finally had to walk in because the tea water slowly became lukewarm. Ordered food shortly after the drinks were delivered, but still received nothing at 1:15 PM. Just when we wanted to leave the food for what it was, it was delivered. It was pleasantly busy, but not more than that, so that wasn't really a reason for everything to take so long. Food was also tasty.

Moderate Not a second time for us

Very bad. Very bad iced tea with the oldest and dirtiest herbs in an even dirtier dirty glass with an old used cardboard straw. Sugar is in old dirty coffee milk bottles. Unfriendly and inattentive staff. I was asked if everything was okay and I said no, absolutely not. But it was met with a shrug of the shoulders. Missed opportunity for you because if there was better anticipation, it would only make your business even better. Not worthy of a single star, never go here.

Giving 1 star is actually too much! I arrive running with my 2-year-old daughter who has just been potty trained. I asked if I could please use the toilet there quickly, but I was told that I had to buy something first! My answer was I want to give money, no problem! Madam's answer was: no, sorry, you have to buy something first. Super customer friendly!!

I have always been greeted in a friendly manner and the service can sometimes be a bit difficult when it is busy, but that is everywhere...delicious bread, pastries and lunches. The wonderful smile and cheerful setting is always free. Also enjoy "people watching" on the terrace. Prices are acceptable and the Matcha latte is super delicious....

We visit Saar regularly! A very cozy lunchroom with nice staff and lots of tasty things. We recently tasted the Spelled Oat Cookie with cranberries. What a blast! Delicious! Immediately brought along a number of these freshly baked cookies. Highly recommended!

Today we had lunch at Saar's for the first time. Unfortunately, the bread was extremely dry, both mine and my husband's. I had a Club sandwich that could have had a little more toppings for €9.95. My husband had a goat cheese sandwich, my husband also thought it was very thin and dry. Unfortunately I left a lot behind because I ran out of drinks for the 2nd time and didn't want to order more. The staff, on the other hand, is super and very friendly!

Delicious lunch. A tasty club sandwich and a 12 hour meal with fresh pea soup, bread with croquettes and bread with fried egg. And that on fresh bread from our own bakery. A nice atmosphere, in short, just good.

We were served by a very nice young man who knows exactly how to serve your guests. You must cherish such strength and, above all, hold on to it🥳

Excellent place to buy good bread made with sourdough and organic flours in Roosendaal and enjoy a good coffee.

NA ons bezoek aan Roosendaal bij 'Bij Saar' binnengestapt om een chocolademelk te drinken en een worstenbroodje te eten. Wat een knusse tent. Men zit dicht op elkaar maar door het decor zit je toch gescheiden. Vriendelijk personeel en heerlijk drankje en lekker broodje. Wij weten waar we moeten zijn als we Roosendaal bezoeken. Want de gerechten die op de tafel getoverd werden, zagen er meer dan lekker uit.

Leuk zaakje, Goede lokatie Personeel is minder Meerderen keren hier geweest, Personeel heeft oogkleppen op zien de gasten niet en duurt heel lang voor je wordt geholpen. Crompouce moet ook beter voor een bakkerij! En vooral voor die prijs.

Leuke zaak. Heel aardig geholpen en worstenbroodjes en kaneel broodjes heel erg lekker.

Vriendelijk personeel. Heerlijke broden en daar betaal je dan uiteraard ook voor. Ik koop liever lekker brood hier voor dat geld, dan wat luxer supermarktbrood voor ongeveer hetzelfde geld. Je proeft het verschil meteen en het is het me waard.

De tosti was oké, maar wel mega overpriced. Gewoon een normale tosti voor 8 euro. De prijs/kwaliteit is voor mij niet in verhouding. Jammer! Locatie is wel leuk.

Een gezellig uurtje gehad op het terras. We werden uitstekend bediend door "Pierre" , zo noemden we hem. De koffie was heerlijk, de gebakjes ook. Alleen jammer dat er geen honing/mosterd bij het stokbroodje gezond kon. Maar hij was lekker.

Ik kom hier heel graag. Heerlijk brood. Gewoon echt brood zoals brood hoort te zijn. En een lekker plekje voor een bakje koffie. Gemoedelijke sfeer.

Minder keuze in brood. Brood, eierkoeken ed kleiner en duurder. Veel rokers op het terras. Sinds verbouwing ben ik duidelijk minder enthousiast. Super zonde. Was een top tent!

Erg leuk tentje! Heerlijk broodje met hummus gegeten.

De eigenaresse krijgt van mij 5⭐ voor de service. Wij hadden erg lang moeten wachten op ons gebakje, toen het na 20 minuten nog niet was gebracht, gingen wij afrekenen, en lieten wij weten dat wij alleen de koffie nog wilden afrekenen. Dit lostte zij zeer netjes op, hierdoor komen wij graag nog eens in de herkansing. Het terras is een lekkere plek als het zonnetje schijnt. En ik denk dat de bakkersproducten ook erg lekker zullen zijn, die indruk krijg ik wel als ik binnen sta en het in de vitrine zie liggen. Dus dat komen wij graag nog eens proeven. 🫶🏼

Sfeervol interieur, vriendelijk personeel. Lekker menukaart en dieet mogelijkheden. Een aanrader voor iedereen.

Het ontbijt is heerlijk en gezond, en supervriendelijk personeel.

Gezellige lunchroom met lekkere broodjes en nog meer. Erg aardige bediening.

Ik houd van rose en lekker bijkletsen op een fijne plek met een goede vriendin. Een aanrader! En ook lekker brood van de warme bakker. Ik zeg eens doen!

Het eerste en belangrijkste: het brood wat ze hier bakken is echt geweldig. Dit is het brood wat ze bij elke bakker zouden moeten maken die zichzelf 'ambachtelijk' of 'meesterbakker' noemt, maar helaas is dit vaak ver te zoeken. Dit is het brood wat de moeite loont om extra voor te betalen ten opzichte van supermarktbrood. Ook de cakejes en rozijnenbollen zijn fenomenaal. Alleen de cheesecake brownie was echt niet te eten, die niet pakken. We hebben hier ook geluncht en dat was niet geweldig maar wel prima. Maar voor het geld wat we betaalden voor een portie belegde boterhammen (6-7 euro) vonden we het wel 2 erg kleine / dunne boterhammen. Dat hadden wel grotere/dikkere boterhammen mogen zijn, of doe er dan een derde bij. We hadden naderhand nog een beetje trek. Ook hadden we alledrie ander brood besteld maar we kregen gewoon allemaal hetzelfde brood. Waarom vraag je het dan... Kortom: we zullen hier met plezier nog brood kopen voor thuis maar er niet zo snel gaan zitten voor lunch.

Ik was erg geschrokken. Was met mijn zoontje van 7 met vriendinnetje van 7 gezellig aan het lunchen totdat ik € 26,50 morst afrekenen.... we hebben alle 3 een tosti besteld (gewoon normaal, 1x tosti kaas en 2x ham kaas). Ik vroeg of de rekening wel klopte?!?! Nagekeken en de tosti”s zijn in prijs gestegen! Pffff ... NOOIT meer!!

Prima broodje gegeten op het terras. Duurde inderdaad wat lang, maar smaak was er niet minder om en als je dan lekker in het zonnetje zit moet je niet mauwen. Wel jammer dat het drankje dat we extra bestelden pas na het eten kwam.

Hier op zaterdagmiddag een broodje als lunch gegeten. Broodje was prima van smaak en goed belegd. Jammer dat ik een wit broodje kreeg terwijl ik een donker broodje had besteld. Thee was ok.

Slechte koffie met metaalsmaak Ik had het idee dat ik in een rokerscafe eas terechtgekomen. En voor het afrekenen mag de klant (je weet we dat is degene die betaalt) naar binnen gaan om zijn geld af te geven Zelfs de bloemen geven het op... Het was een try out. Verkeerd uitgepakt.
