We came to pick up pastries today and I have never seen such a filthy environment in a bakery. The floors were downright filthy. It can't be anything other than that they haven't been swept in weeks. I have never experienced anything like this before. This is simply unacceptable for a bakery. A major point for improvement!!!

Do not come in 45 minutes before closing time to have something to eat and drink. They immediately say that they close at 5 p.m., and they are already busy cleaning. I said that we really wouldn't stay an hour.... and we wanted to sit inside but had to remove the chairs from the tables ourselves. No service at all. While we were eating (fine by the way), an employee just kept sweeping the floor next to our table, probably because it was closing time. From such a well-known bakery, I expect staff to be (customer) friendly instead of being bored with the business. We didn't feel welcome at all. So I will never go here again. Plenty of other choice in the shopping street.

Bought orange cake and sugar loaf today. I always take a piece of orange cake with me from every bakery I am near in Friesland. This one scores very high! Perfect cookie (not dry, but slightly soft), something I don't often taste. The sugar loaf is also delicious. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely come back!

Enjoy lunch at the bakery who still bakes his own bread. Excellent quality for that price.

Food is good but the employees are extremely unfriendly. Especially in the back with the fresh rolls. They would rather stand around talking stupidly to each other for fifteen minutes than help you. Excellent for us as tourists. Incredibly good baked goods, desserts...we were delighted. Price comparable to the Czech Republic. But I would say better quality and tastier.

Great tasty bakery. Delicious sandwiches can be ordered at the back of the bakery. Always a regular afternoon pit stop for us when we are near Joure, or have to visit the Streekmakers.

A wide range, from sandwiches to a wide variety of delicious pastries. The atmosphere is quite inviting, although someone might need to wipe down the tables and remove crumbs from the chairs more often. We had to wait quite a long time until the waitress was ready to take our order, although we didn't have the feeling that there was that much to do there.

When we give a course at Semko, we have lunch provided by Breimer. Excellent sandwiches! The students are always happy and grateful for the well-prepared lunch. The service is good.

Koningsdag, 2 tompoezen voor 5 Euro(!). Alleen maar slagroom en een vingerhoedje banketbakkersroom. Ik voel me beetgenomen. Dit mag geen 'Tompoes'heten. Nooit meer naar deze te dure Breijmer!??

Just walked by, but the company I work for is a regular customer for pastries and sandwiches and they are nice and fresh and of good quality.

Just had two smoked salmon sandwiches with two teas for 19.40 euros. Salmon looked white yellow, transparent. When I asked whether it was still good, I was first told that it was completely good and as it should be and a lot of salmon had already been sold that day. At her insistence, the ladies decided to check the date. Very surprising, considering the date. The employee argued that it came from the freezer. Salmon came from Lidl, I saw it on the packaging. Best price for half-baked expired food. I think it's time for a visit from the inspectorate. I'm going to post a notification. This can make you really sick, really not funny.

It all depends on who is working apparently. The shop itself is nicely decorated and attractive. The staff is either very nice or sour and spoiled. And then the food tastes less. Too bad because the business is nice.

Every time I come to eat here I am ridiculed by the staff for my order, even though this order is quite normal. Unfortunately it is not 1 staff member, but several. All very unfriendly. You can enjoy sitting here, but the staff spoils the fun. From now on I'll just eat at Hema.

Some perspective... 10 people eating and drinking... Coffee, pastries, sausage rolls... what delicacies... We now come to Friesland almost every year with the family, for family visits from Canada. In Canada it is very common to have unlimited water with your food. On day 1 after we have landed at Schiphol, we like to go to Breimer bakery in the afternoon and have cake and coffee there, the children are Fristie and they can also choose what they would like. Then walk through Midstraat, get some fresh air, then go to the bakery for something tasty. You spend at least €70 - €90 Then the children are thirsty and would like a glass of tap water... And that is then refused by the grumpy employee.... After you explain that it has become a bit of a tradition to visit the Breimer bakery and that it is quite normal for us in Canada, and that you have already spent a nice amount at the bakery... It didn't matter to the lady in question...just go buy Spa Blauw is the answer... And..”she didn't let the law be dictated to her” in the most snippy tone. So that was the last time we ever enter that business again... Expensive glass of water.... Last year, a wheelchair-bound person and his companions were also refused service at 5:30 PM... because "we close at 6:00 PM" Bakery Breimer.... I think this staff member needs to be retrained in customer service. The products are great, the staff member in question is not. Very friendly staff. And the selection of pastries is huge. What you should definitely try is the Oranjekoek, this is a typical Frisian specialty. I liked having a coffee there with something to go with it. But we were on vacation there with our dog. Dogs were not allowed.

Always pleasant to come and the bread (and pastries) are fresh, delicious and new: they also have the Krompouce

Gelukkig wonen we hier niet dichtbij. De verleiding zou te groot zijn

Uitstekende belegde broodjes verkrijgbaar in het speciaal daarvoor ingerichte achterste gedeelte van deze zaak. Er zijn enkele zitplaatsen zowel binnen als buiten in 'de Mid'. Voor ons als buitenstaander een smakelijke tussenstop tijdens een stadsbezoek.

Lekkere croissants, brood. Een gezellige, schone omgeving. Zo houden aub. Vriendelijke verkoopsters. Altijd een goed advies en interesse.

Heerlijk brood, koeken en gebak. Drukke bakkerij. Je kunt er gezellig zitten binnen en buiten.

Even langsgelopen voor een lekker taartje. De aardbeienkrakeling was verrukkelijk!! Met veel aardbeien en lekkere zoete (maar niet te zoete) room. Nette prijs ook. Eur 5,35 of id voor 2 flinke stukken.

A bit odd, the people are nice enough, the bread is ok but we had coffee outside, very good coffee too, but when we wanted some more they had decided that the machine needed cleaning. Apparently it was closing time while the summer market was still going strong . So a rather strange meet.

De saucijzenbroodjes al eens geproefd ......

Geluncht met 2 personen met een goed gevulde Italiaanse bol gezond en filet americain en de volgende dag nog maar een keer en genoten van een lunch en een heerlijk aardbeienslofje en een goede kop koffie. Ouderwets lekker en heel gezellig zitten daar!

Wat een geweldige zaak / bakker. En wat een keus, je weet niet wat je moet kiezen.alles zit er prachtig uit. Waar wordt je nog zo geholpen, vriendelijke dames . Top . Daar kunnen ze in het westen nog wat van leren. Ze zwaaide ons zelf gedag.

Prima bakkerij waar je heerlijk kunt ontbijten en lunchen, of gewoon ff een lekker bakkie kunt doen. Aanrader voor brood: het beste brood. Aanrader voor lunch: stokbroodje kipkerrie met ei en sla, of tosti Ook super aardige medewerkers trouwens, altijd wel even tijd voor een praatje als het even kan

Een bakker met heerlijk gebak en sinds kort een grotere ruimte om gezellig te genieten van koffie enz. Helaas nog te klein want in de zomer met veel toerisme zal het bomvol zijn!

Ein paar Sitzplätze laden zu einem reichhaltigen Frühstück ein, und die Brotauswahl ist für hollandische Verhältnisse sehr gut!
