At Broodheeren I followed the bread baking workshop, a must for anyone who loves bread! The workshop provides so much information, theoretical but also a lot of practice by getting your hands in the dough. Edwin tells enthusiastically and passionately about the profession. In addition to baking bread, it is also special to be allowed to take a look behind the scenes at the bakery.

Recommended for anyone who loves bread! Learned a lot from the sourdough bread course at Broodheren. The course is well structured with a lot of variation between theory and practice. Edwin conveys his knowledge with a lot of passion, which makes the day very pleasant and inspiring. The bakery is beautiful & the bread is of course delicious!

If you thought you could bake bread before you took a course with Edwin Klaassen and de Broodheeren, that is not the case. Baking bread is science, measuring is knowing. Books, throw them away. You will get the basics here and then you can start writing your own book. Highly recommended for anyone who likes to be in the kitchen.

This is the place to be if you want to learn everything about sourdough bread! Edwin is a professional through and through and his energy is extremely contagious. You will learn a lot in a short time by doing it yourself. His Viennoiserie workshop is also recommended. And in any case, he bakes fantastic bread (for the catering industry who understand what quality is) and the ultimate party bread, which can also be ordered by private individuals.

Last weekend I took a 2-day bread baking course at Broodheren (fantastic bread baking). Edwin is so enthusiastic! He passionately explains everything about (sourdough) bread. It is mainly a lot of practice and practice. But theory is also discussed. I had 2 great days in which I learned a lot but also gained inspiration to continue baking bread at home. You can take the bread you make during the course home with you afterwards. That was gone in no time. So tasty. The location is nice because the bakery is very spacious and light. The lunch is delicious, the guidance is top notch and Edwin shares his craft with great love and passion. In short, the course is highly recommended!

Craftsmanship at a lonely high level.

Did a sourdough workshop last weekend. Really intended to improve your sourdough bread baking quality. Discusses the theory and necessities of making decent bread and teaches the principles of kneading and folding practice. Story was explained with interest and passion, very clear and helpful during the workshop and everything told with the necessary humor. Plus go home with an abundance of homemade products that are also tasty and a multitude of recipes.

Delicious bread and especially the Christmas bread is a winner

This weekend I participated in the bread baking course Fantastic Bread Baking. This course was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to learn more about the chemistry behind baking bread and really feel good about when my dough is right. I really learned this and more. My motor skills are now (I think) so much better. When I kneaded my dough by hand at home, I couldn't keep it up. I have learned techniques here that require less effort. And the result of the baked bread is really great. Highly recommended!

Recently did a fun bread workshop at Broodheeren! A lot of information about the processes of bread baking in a short time. This is alternated with making sourdough bread and a number of baguettes. Very nice to learn so much about baking bread in a short time, with the icing on the cake being your home-baked sourdough bread and baguettes to eat at home 😋😋

Use the potato buns for my burger restaurant and the quality is fantastic. everyone is talking about it.
