In 1 woord PERFECT !!! Zowel de heerlijke ontbijtplank als de lekkere cappuccinos en geweldige bediening, petje af ! Wij werden bediend door de jongeman die model heeft gestaan op de aparte menukaart voor het ontbijt (sorry vergeten naam te vragen), nog nooit eerder zo goed ergens geserveerd !

The ambiance is pleasant; you can sit outside right by the small canal. The seating is lovingly designed. The apple pie with cream is very good. The service from the Downies was perfect. The concept deserves 100% support. We'll be happy to come back; it's a must-have for us.

Well-kept breakfast in a cozy environment

Had a lovely breakfast. Breakfast platter. For only 9 euros so much deliciousness! The scrambled egg is delicious and delicious bread.

Today we had a wonderful high tea for my granddaughter's birthday. It was very tasty. The 2 types of soup were a great starter for the high tea. Then we had delicious sandwiches with filet américaine, brie and chicken. The last course were the sweet treats. A real treat with tasty tea. My granddaughter enjoyed it and so did the rest of the group. The service was very nice and friendly.

Nice lunch for a reasonable price. The menu is quite diverse, so there is plenty of choice for every type of guest. We had a katsu sando and papadum with grilled prawns. Both dishes looked nicely presented and tasted very good. The service was very attentive and friendly. This is how service should be everywhere in the catering industry.

Been here for high tea and it was really delicious! Everything tasted really great and the staff was friendly. Good to know that there is also a play corner for the children!

We are in Sneek for the first time with our disabled son. Nice and happy to see no big chain stores. Nice sunshine, terrace on the canal and enjoy. The menu looked good and I ate the Sando Matsu (Japanese in Dutch). A wonderful, relaxing day. The shops were open the first Sunday of the month.

Nice meal on the terrace along the canal, friendly service. With the Latte I got a glass of whipped cream and a glass of water plus a cookie, served on a wooden tray.

Fantastic help from a very nice young man. He took our order carefully, was friendly and made sure the table we were sitting at was spotlessly clean. The blondies and brownies we ordered were delicious. We will definitely come back!

Heerlijk geluncht en echt super bediening. Broodje brie is zeker aan te raden! En brood met kroketten was ook heerlijk.

Great concept in our opinion. We were surprised at how relaxed and satisfied the employees working there were at their jobs. Everything is very good quality. When it comes to service, you have to turn a blind eye; after all, there are people with different limitations at work. We would like to come again.

Very cozy terrace in the center of Sneek.

I specifically seek it out just for the concept alone. The service is also always friendly and pure. The food is well prepared and delicious. Ideal for a lunch in a warm-hearted environment. I come there often and will continue to come. Often also centrally located and with a terrace.

Great concept that should be supported! Service was great and friendly, coffee and brownies were delicious. You can sit by the canal inside and outside.

Wow, what an experience! The staff at this café really brightened our day after all the rain. These cafés are such an important addition to society and I wish we have the same where I live. Not only was the service impeccable but the quality of the brownies were to die for! Each bite was perfect 🤩 I was especially fond of the Mango Blondie and glad to see a well equipped children's area and high chairs 🙂

16.50 for a sandwich with coffee is really too much.

Recently had a sandwich at Brownies&Downies on a Saturday. Well cared for and looked attractive. Good friendly service. A cozy terrace with various seating options. And the store is easy to enter with a wheelchair.

Very tasty food in a beautiful location! The burgers are easy to put together yourself, look great and taste great. As a side dish we had fries and the tastiest nachos we have ever eaten.

A great café with an exemplary concept. It was a spontaneous visit and all 5 of us are thrilled. The coffee, cocoa and brownies were absolutely delicious and the service with the Downies was totally loving and patient. Thank you for allowing us to be your guests.

What a great place and beautiful concept. The place is nicely decorated and has a very pleasant atmosphere. Extremely friendly staff. I like 'dressed up' coffee. In this case, a small bowl of whipped cream, some water and a piece of brownie. The brownies were tastier than expected. We ate the monchou and the caramel sea salt. It was special to experience that visitors stayed for a long time to play board games

Derde verjaardag van onze dochter gevierd met een high tea. Hoekje bij de tafel was versierd met slingers en ballonnen. High tea was erg goed! Onze dochter vond de soep het lekkerst. Luxe broodjes, goed belegd en allemaal erg goed van smaak. De zoetigheden waren er in overvloed. En zoals we van Brownies & Downies kennen, allemaal even goed. We hebben alle drie ontzettend genoten.

Sitting by the water, a nice beer, a delicious sandwich and much more importantly, superior service from a lovely waitress. Unfortunately there was a shower, and we helped this nice lady to quickly bring the pillows inside. More than worth a visit.

Het weer was zeer zonnig. De locatie was goed. Het geserveerde voedsel werd door ons na een mooie fietstocht met smaak gegeten. De bediening door mensen met beperking was vriendelijk. Op achtergrond krijgen zij uitstekende begeleiding. Leuk dat dit soort initiatieven bestaan.

Ended up here after we were not helped for the third time on the terraces in Sneek. We should have done that much sooner! Super service, which turns even a simple cappuccino into a party! The price is also a bit lower than the center. We both had a club sandwich, both chicken and salmon were very tasty and beautifully presented. We would love to come again!
