Very nice food and delicious drinks 🌟 The pancakes with fruits and mascarpone where fresh and incredible tasty. The chicken burger was fabulous. I very enjoyed specifically the iced coffee with caramel sauce, thank you!

On a sunny day, mid-afternoon, we land on the small terrace of Brownies & Downies. Inside, a relatively large group is eating. As a result, there is no attention for the customers on the terrace. At some point we go inside to order something. The ice coffees are quite tasty but not very cold. To pay, we go back inside because the service does not come to the terrace at all. Nice concept...but still. A little more attention and service is badly needed.

A truly inspiring concept! Here, people with and without learning difficulties work together on an equal footing - a valuable example of inclusion in action 🌍. I was deeply impressed by the positive energy in the store and the commitment of the team. In addition to the social aspect, the quality is also convincing: both of our smoothies were fresh, creatively combined and simply delicious 🍹🍓. A place that shows how easy collaboration can be - and still delivers delicious results! Thank you for this enriching experience. We will definitely come back and recommend this special shop 🌟.

Tijdens een werkbezoek een heerlijke lunch uitgekozen bij Brownies&Downies Fantastisch dat deze jong volwassenen zo mooi in hun kracht worden gezet. Snelle en vlotte bediening met duidelijke uitleg over wat je bestellen wilt. Menukaart biedt volop variatie (dranken, voorgerecht, lunch, diner). Wij kozen voor een lunchplank waar we heerlijk van gegeten hebben. Een werkbezoek van docenten naar Enschede. We hebben heerlijk geluncht bij Downies en Brownies. We werden heel netjes en professioneel aan de tafel bediend! De bestelling werd keurig opgenomen. We hebben thee en koffie besteld en een lunchplank. Dat waren grote lunchplanken die goed gevuld waren met pancakes, bitterbal, homemade tomatosoup en 2 flink belegde sandwiches met carpaccio en rosbief. Het was echt heerlijk. Vrolijke en gezellige bediening. Prachtig dat Downies & Brownies deze jonge mensen in hun kracht zet en hun laat schitteren! Een aanrader voor iedereen! 👍🏼😉

Great concept with very attentive and positive people. Everyone does what they can. I go there every time I visit Enschede (and Katwijk). Unfortunately, it is not conceivable or feasible in Germany due to a lack of patience and an eye for what is essential: be a human being.

This is one of our favorite spots in the city. The coffee here is super tasty. Today we brought the dog with us, she was allowed to lie inside and was immediately given a bowl of water. Good service!

I was here this afternoon with my mother, the atmosphere is cozy and the staff was very friendly, and the food was great! I had the Katsu Sando and it was delicious, crunchy and definitely recommended! My mother had the Tuna Toast, which was also very tasty (and very filling!) We will definitely come back!

When we walked into the open door not knowing that they had already been closed for 6 minutes, a very rude blonde young lady with a ponytail came towards us. She was very rude and did not give an appropriate response. If it was kindly communicated that they were closed, it was of course no problem. However, we were treated as if we came to demolish the place

Very nice and good, the only disadvantage is that if you choose a "brownie tasting", you pay almost 3 euros more and get 4 mini pieces of brownie that together are less than 2/3 of a normal brownie. Hence no 5 stars.

Quiet (no loud music), Several tables, open setting, not too big... Luxury chocolate milk, soup and salad; all very good in taste and well cared for.

We enjoyed a delicious meal and drank delicious coffee. We were received enthusiastically and the room was nicely decorated. We will definitely come back!

Altijd weer geweldig. Enthousiast en betrokken medewerkers met of zonder handicap. Prachtig dat deze gelegenheden er zijn waar gekeken wordt naar wat iemand nog wel kan. En dus niet gekeken wordt naar de beperkingen.

Brownies & Downies als naam doen mij iets anders verwachten. De 1e waren wel zichtbaar aanwezig. De 2e niet gezien. Verder net etablissement en keurig geholpen.

*Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert * Gut zugänglich mit dem Kinderwagen Dank breiter Gänge. Leider kein Hochstuhl vorhanden. Modern und gemütlich eingerichtet mit kleinen Sitzecken wie auch größeren Tischgruppen. Sauberes WC und sehr aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service. Sehr leckere Kaffeespezialitäten (zu empfehlen ist hier besonders die Haselnuss-Latte). Der Brownie war teils etwas trocken, was aber auch am Feiertag gelegen haben kann. Alles in allem Top!

Je kan hier lekker ontspannen lunchen, ook met een gezin met kinderen. Er staat genoeg lekkers om uit te kiezen. op de kaart. Het idee achter het restaurant is sympathiek en het personeel is vriendelijk en vrolijk.

Sehr gute Idee, eine Bistro-Kette, die Menschen mit Behinderung beschäftigt. Auch die Umsetzung ist richtig gut gemacht, Tablets mit Symbol-Bildern als Unterstützung für die holländischen Bedienungen, damit die auch mit den radebrechenden deutschen Touris klarkommen. Dann sind mir die kleinen, handlichen Servier Tabletts aufgefallen. Die haben nicht nur einen hohen Rand zur Serviersicherheit, sondern sind auch jedesmal mit Keks, Zucker und Wasser zum Kaffee aufgehübscht. Das hat man ja bei uns in D noch nicht mal in einem normalen Bistro! Ich denke, dies wird ab sofort für uns zum Pflichtbesuch beim Stadtbummel in Enschede!

Wat prachtig om te zien dat deze mensen hun hart en ziel in het werk leggen om gasten het naar de zin te maken. Het eten was heerlijk. Hier komen we zeker terug.

Centraal gelegen in de binnenstad hebben wij heerlijk geluncht. Best een mooie kaart maar wij kozen voor de uitsmijter en koffie .De uitsmijter was lekker op t brood. Lekker stevig brood zodat je geen kleffe bedoening krijgt. Personeel is vlot en erg vriendelijk. De tafels staan redelijk uit elkaar zodat je heerlijk de ruimte heb. Interieur en sanitair is er schoon. Kortom : erg sfeervol en je kunt merken dat personeel er met plezier werken. Hier kom ik zekers terug.

Super leuk en lekker om naar toe te gaan. Heel tof concept, hele vriendelijke en warme mensen!
