We went bowling with the whole family and then had dinner at the buffet restaurant De Rode Loper. The food was delicious, and there was a wide selection of hot and cold dishes. A visit to the ice cave is a must, of course. There are various types of ice cream and some sweet treats. Between meals, the children enjoyed themselves in the play area and the outdoor playground. The reason for our visit was my parents-in-law's 45th wedding anniversary. They received ice cream with fireworks, brought by the entire staff while they sang "Lang zullen ze leven" (Long May They Live) together. A festive end to our visit to De Rode Loper.

For delicious food, you have to go to De Rode Lokker. The steak cubes and the mustard soup are especially delicious, plus all the other food has something for everyone. The staff is friendly, and children can play here both inside and outside.

Very cold in the freezer. It's nice that the parrot is still there.

The staff was very friendly. The cold dishes were tasty, such as the vegetable and fruit salads, but the rest of the food wasn't very warm and wasn't very flavorful. Well, where do we start? After ordering drinks, I came back with the story that what I ordered was not there. Then the bread board is put on the table and we had had 2 sandwiches and the waitress wanted to take the board away from the table again. When we said something about it, they said “just take it easy”. Then it was time to eat, not much choice, not recommended for children. OK, but I'm deeply offended by that. We were there with 14 people and I recommend never going there again. Drinking is very expensive there. Had 3 soft drinks and 1 bottle of beer and had to pay €15.... Thought oof and it turned out that I had paid €€ too much. It turned out that 3.50 was too much. We paid €243 yesterday but it wasn't worth it. Are you thinking of going out for dinner because you have been married for so many years and we thought we would go there, but alas. Children don't know how to deal with them, they look at them as if they have never seen children before. It was quite quiet, but now I understand why. Huge disappointment. In and in bad, you message them about it, you get a response, you should have reported this that evening, you did indicate that there were bones in the salmon and other things, but they just don't want to have a word. We had dinner here tonight with a group of 6 adults and 4 small children. The food was good and the buffet was continuously replenished. The interactive play table was set up especially for the kids and the highlight of their evening was that they could make their own ice cream in the ice cave. Very nicely done. Had a good meal here. Come there often and there is variation in what is offered. Incredibly bad We regularly went to this restaurant. But while it was a reasonable to good restaurant in the beginning, it has gradually declined to a questionable level. First you arrive at a poorly lit parking lot where you have to be careful not to trip over the concrete blocks that separate the parking spaces. You then enter the restaurant over a discolored plastic red carpet, which still looks good from the inside. However, the food this time was even worse than bad. The chunks of steak were dry, tough, lukewarm, tasteless and impossible to chew. The potatoes, stews and vegetables that I ate were also lukewarm, unsightly and simply substandard. When I got home I got a terrible stomach ache at night and had to visit the toilet several times. I am now completely done with this restaurant and even if they gave me money I would not eat there again.

On Christmas Day we had booked a buffet. We didn't realize it would be packed, so we were placed on the second floor. After we were directed to our seats, a bread platter was served. This would have been more than sufficient for 2 people, but since we were with several people, it was too little. Initially, no explanation was given as to what the purpose of the evening was. After we asked for this ourselves (what is the intention) we received an over-enthusiastic explanation, during which we noticed that the buffet area was downstairs. Since the buffet area is on the ground floor, you will need to use a spiral staircase, plate in hand, to get to that floor. The spiral staircase is in principle only accessible on one side; this has to do with the width of the steps, which meant you also had to wait for "oncoming traffic". The capacity of the buffet was too small for the number of visitors => joining the queue is therefore necessary, so the queue was sometimes longer than the buffet itself. Oh yes, the service.... It is not wise to have someone without service experience (including serving on the left) work on one of the busiest days of the year => poor Dutch (or pretend to be so), only deliver them fifteen minutes after ordering drinks (bottles). drinks delivered without glasses) and I have already talked about serving them. So yes, recommended? No, not really for the amount you can pay per person (€65).

Wat een geweldig lieve mensen! We waren bowlen en zouden naar het buffet restaurant gaan, maar tijdens het voorgerecht werd iemand van onze groep onwel. Ze waren heel behulpzaam en bezorgd, en we mochten met onze groep de hele avond inclusief bowlen inhalen! De bediening is super vriendelijk, eten is lekker, gevarieerd en vers. Als er iets wat langer in het buffet lag werd het snel vervangen. Ik begrijp dan ook niets van sommige slechte reviews over het eten. Bowling is ook gezellig, lekker muziekje en mooie banen. Niets dan lof!

Mooi restaurant, stoelen prima, en aankleding rustig en niet op een of andere manier overheersend. Eten is goed en veelzijdig in keuze, personeel vriendelijk en bediening is ook dik in orde. Aanrader.

Ik vind dit een goed restaurant. De bediening werkt vlot en is vriendelijk. De koks zorgen er voor dat het eten op tijd aangevuld wordt. Wat ik vooral leuk vind is de 'IJsgrot'. Als je ijs wilt, stap je een ruimte binnen die is aangekleed als grot. En natuurlijk; het is er heeeel koud haha. Er is een klein hoekje voor kinderen. Ik zou dit restaurant zeker aanraden

Lopend buffet bij de rode loper altijd mooi concept, ik hoorde mensen erover top, lekker ect, maar ik deel deze mening helaas niet. Het enige 2 dingen die daadwerkelijk lekker waren: aantal dingen van het koudebuffet vis en de gefrituurde uienringen. Vlees te droog of te gaar, patat slapjes. Voor ons niet nog een keer helaas.

Buffetrestaurant mag je dit niet noemen,veel te weinig keuze ,en voor vlees of kip moet je hier helemaal niet zijn..114 euro voor 2 volwassen en een kind van 9...bv de stukjes minisnitzel mag die naam echt niet hebben,,waterige zigeunersaus wel een mooie locatie,maar ook veel te lang wachten dat bediening doorheeft dat je graag wat te drinken wilt..

Het eten was heerlijk. De service goed. En de ijsgrot brrr koud maar gevuld met heerlijk ijs en lekkers : ) de service is ook erg goed ze houden rekening met allergieën en zijn erg klantvriendelijk

Hier gisteravond geweest vanwege 40 jarig huwelijk van mijn zus en zwager. We hadden een lopend buffet. Het eten was prima en lekker. Genoeg variatie. En heerlijk ijs na. Vriendelijk personeel. En de sfeer was goed. Zeker een aanrader om daar eens te gaan eten. Ook hebben ze een bowlingbaan naast het restaurant waar je ook kunt eten.

Gegeten in het steakhouse gedeelte. Leuke vlotte bediening. Eten was dik voor elkaar. De moeite waard, om daar eens te eten

Heel gaaf bowlingbaan! Service is goed! Keuken kan echt beter. 35 minuten gewacht op nachos en bittergarnituur. En was ook nog koud. Maar voor de rest prima!

Mooie locatie. Het personeel is jong, maar vriendelijk. De all you can eat formule is op zich prima, maar er is weinig keuze. Het eten wat er wel is, is van prima kwaliteit, maar gewoon veel te weinig keuze. De zaak was bijna leeg toen wij er waren, misschien dat het beter geregeld is als het vol zit.

Gezellig zittend aan het water, gebruik gemaakt van het lunchbuffet. Goede prijs-/kwaliteitverhouding. Kwa eten vooral veel salades, maar dat vind ik geen straf. Kan met water werd niet bijgevuld helaas. Maar je kunt hier gezellig zitten met vrienden om te lunchen, voor ieder wat wils.

Viele Leckereien, tolle Auswahl, Eisgrotte eine Überraschung

Helaas was de lunch van vanmiddag bar slecht, patat! Je zou het geen patat kunnen noemen niet vers en slap, kroket was lauw, vind het erg jammer daarom geef ik ze 2 ××

Het was redelijk. De soep was lekker. Jammer van de diepvries gehaktbal, maak ze zelf. Is veel lekkerder. Voor een lunchbuffet vond ik dat er niet zo veel keus was . En miste ik de vis. Een tip van ons, maak de majo en curry pomp schoon. Waar het er uit kwam zat viezigheid. Brrr....

Er is genoeg keuze, vaak ligt er niet heel veel, maar daardoor ligt het ook niet te lang. Het eten is ook prima, wat wellicht nog handig kan zijn is om standaard wat kijdergerechtjes klaar te hebben (frikandelletje, pannenkoekje)

we waren met 7 personen daar om gezellig de zomervakantie in te luiden, komen we aan, was onze reservering niet doorgekomen terwijl in de mail toch duidelijk stond dat de reservering gelukt was, maar een plus punt we mochten toch plaats nemen, in het buffet is niet erg groot, waar aan de andere kant een hele grote groep mensen zatendie wel heul erg veel lawaai maakten, even later kwam er nog een grote groep kinderen binnen ?20.. door zoveel mensen was het eten vrijwel continu op en sommige gerechten zijn goed maar meerdere hadden veel te lang gelegen. Waren taai of te lang gebakken, wat erg jammer was en door al dat lawaai naast ons kon ik als slechthorende niet aan tafel kon meepraten omdat ik nagenoeg niets verstond. wij waren hier voor het buffet!
