My partner often gets a large portion of kibbeling and herring for me here. Now, the thing is, regarding the fish—which is absolutely not kibbeling but something similar—it is a bit cheaper, but that doesn't really matter; what matters to me is that there is a difference in the fried fish, and this time it was deep-fried way too hard again. I think it's a shame because it irritates my gums, so I can't eat it. I took out the best ones, and I'll eat the rest tomorrow when they are cold and limp. Unfortunately, my partner never wants to set things right because he is too good for that, so I am stuck with severe pulmonary emphysema, palliative stage 4E, paying a hefty price for this, about 15/16 euros for a portion, and it is rock hard. I would have taken it back myself, because he could have seen that it was black/dark brown, but apparently he only wanted to make money and was probably busy and forgot, and that is how you get treated as a regular customer. My partner has bought several things here already, but this was the last time; by the third time, it was overcooked. So I'm just going back to the Oostermeent; they might not have the "cod," but they are cheap and tasty.

Deliciously crispy fried kibbeling, but certainly also nice pieces of fresh fish and a good choice for fish snacks. We were served quickly and super friendly.

Surprising menu and really good prices. Easily accessible restaurant with cozy seating both inside and outside. The staff is exceptionally friendly and the food is delicious. There is a wide selection. Plenty of free parking and a beautiful view of the harbor. Besides soft drinks, you can even order wine and beer there. 🥂 Highly recommended!

I was here 3 weeks ago for the kibbeling. It was so tasty, not greasy and well fried. I went again today; the kibbeling was mostly overcooked, not nearly as tasty as last time, and greasy. I do not recommend a kibbeling sandwich. You get 3 pieces of kibbeling and the sauce was practically non-existent. It was busy, but you do expect the same quality. Not worth a repeat visit.

The fish was fresh and beautifully prepared. The oysters arrived well chilled, and the grilled octopus was tender without becoming rubbery. The menu is clear and not overly extensive—always a good sign with fish. The service is professional and clearly accustomed to questions about origin, etc.

We're talking perfectly fried Kibbeling and Lekkerbek, gorgeous sandwiches, and even a massive 'Fruits de Mer' platter for when you're feeling fancy. It all looks incredibly fresh and delicious. This is a definite must-try next time you're craving some top-tier fish. You have to check them out!

Beautiful and tasty fish. You can really taste that it is fresh. Then it may also be a bit more expensive. Didn't eat on the spot, but walking during my lunch break. But outside a terrace and inside nice tables and quite a good atmosphere.

Kibbeling menu: deliciously seasoned cod, crispy fries, very fresh salad and two sauces. More than enough for two staff (small eaters) and we received one extra plate, so no complaints about the service. The location is also nice and you can eat and drink inside or on the terrace.

The kibbeling with fries was always great. Unfortunately, twice in a row it has been very mediocre and not of Bunschoten's quality. Watery tasteless kibbeling and no fish seasoning used. The fries were very limp and barely fried. After a phone call to the store, no offer of compensation or the like. Very unfortunate, it was always a good address.

Food is great, Service can sometimes be forgotten when busy, but then you go back and it is taken care of. It is always busy here, because the fish is fresh and the food is tasty. I'll leave the atmosphere open because we always pick up.

Yesterday was a day on the bike. We drove past this place during lunch time. Coincidence, and what a coincidence.... delicious food, both the fish sandwiches and the fried fish. Highly recommended.

Great service and excellent food

Delicious fish. Good quality, personal attention from the staff. Ample seating, at a reasonable distance from each other. There are toilets available, and they are clean! Ample free parking in front of the door. Recommended: homemade crayfish soup. One small point of criticism: I asked not to put salt on the fries, they forgot, but I was allowed to exchange the fries.

Food is good. But it does take a while. Don't go if you're in a hurry. Nice fish indeed!

Fishing is very fresh, not a big selection. At the end of they day most people come for fried fish. You can smell it

I had a complaint about the box of prawns I bought on Monday. Without discussion I was given a new bag of prawns. The customer is truly king at this business! 👍

Elke maandag gaan wij voor de kibbeling, garnalenkroketjes en butterfly's. Leuke, vriendelijke bediening. Inmiddels weten zij al wat wij willen bestellen. De zaak is super schoon. Er is een groot terras met uitzicht op de haven dus laat het mooie weer maar komen.

High quality of seafood products. It's possible to sit and have a meal inside cooked at the moment choosing the fish directly from the displayed refrigerated bench. Little tip, improved the wine list. But, highly recommended.

Heerlijke vis gegeten, je krijgt waar voor je geld

Goede bediening, gebakken vis van prima kwaliteit, alleen de salade die bij het menu werd geserveerd was een aanfluiting. Bij een eerder bezoek werd er een verse salade geserveerd, nu een bakje met in de slasaus drijvende klein gesneden onduidelijk groen. Graag weer zo snel mogelijk terug naar de verse salade.

Kwaliteit van de vis is top en aanbod groot. Ook dagelijks een aanbieding van een soort dagschotel. Tot 19.00 uur open. Super aardig personeel. Dus ja, 5 sterren!

Komen hier al vanaf de opening, heerlijk een visje eten. En bij mooi weer de vis laten zwemmen met een wit wijntje.

Heerlijke visschotel laten bezorgen op oudejaarsdag, wij en de kinderen hebben er van gesmuld. Alles was top, vooral de paling was erg lekker!

Er is duidelijk sprake van verse kwalitatief hoge vis. Zeker bij de kibbeling is dat goed te merken mn als er geen kruiden op worden gedaan. Smaakvolle en stevige vis en geen overmaat aan deegwaren.

Kibbeling is altijd geweldig!!!

Zeer lange wachttijd tijdens lunchtijd. Extra hulp komt als mosterd na de maaltijd. Haring wat oud en visvitrine ziet er door de verlichting niet uit.

Soms lekker soms niet. Kibbeling erg waterig en weinig smaak. Ook best wel prijzig.

Vis was goed maar mis het enthousiame bij de medewerker

GEWELDIGE peer achter de vitrine. Nam voor ons de moeite om te kijken of er smaakversterkers in hun poeder zit wat zij o.m. over de kibbeling strooien. Bleek het geval te zijn, maar heb in plaats daarvan haring gegeten.... SUPERRR...!! Gezellige sfeer binnen, lkkr relaxed. Fijne winkel!

It looks like a snackbar, and its not a real restaurant (closed in the evening) but it is the best place to eat (or order) fresh fish. Friendly staff and an excellent price/quality ratio. Nice outside terrace with views of the harbour. Inside it's la little bit to stuffy
