Burger King in Wijk 00 Waalwijk

The food here is always delicious.

It's 11:00 a.m. but the restaurant is closed.

I arrived at Burger King at exactly 1:00—according to the schedule, they should have already been open and ready to serve people. But instead of simply turning on the register and letting me order my well-deserved burger, I was greeted by a cashier who apparently decided his true calling was converting customers to the religion of some anime “Elio-Horn.” So there I was, and he told me with a dead-serious face that I had to “join the holy order of the tailed ruler” because “otherwise, burgers wouldn’t sell.” I thought I just wanted to eat, but apparently, I had to audition for a fan club for an intergalactic unicorn from a cartoon! In the end—no food, no normal service, just an unexpected session of anime proselytizing. Guys, if this is your new marketing ploy, at least give me a heads-up. And if not… just open on time and save the converting to the Eli-Horn cult for later.

Barely any parking. When I got there, there was no parking, so I had to go through the drive-through. There was barely a menu, and the booths where you pay and pick up your order weren't clear: the first booth was empty, and after waiting for five minutes, it turned out you had to go straight to booth 2. Booth 1 did have a light on. It wasn't clear to me.

Came around 9.15 on a friday(open till 10), doors already closed. Was let in through the back by other costumers who said 'yes 10pm is 10pm'. Went to order something and a RUDE staff member told us they were closed. We told them that it says 10pm, then we showed on the internet that is said 10pm. Woman was extremely rude and told us that we couldn't read? And that were stupid. While the internet says 10pm?

Worst burger I've had in a long time. The meat was like cardboard... Absolutely awful!

Very, very, very bad!!! We had to wait an incredibly long time. We waited 20 minutes, and then half of them weren't there. We were a group of 11, and we ordered together, but some others also waited a full hour. And was it good? No! I've been to BK many times before, always positive, but this is truly subpar!

3 people staffing a very busy restaurant on a Saturday night after Efteling close. You will be waiting 40 minutes plus for food. AVOID

Glad to see they've recovered! After the pandemic, it was a bit of a tearful time. Lots of mistakes and no atmosphere. But thankfully, they've overcome that. I'm happy about that, because I still prefer the Whopper to any burger at the big yellow M across the street!

I'm very disappointed with the service at Burger King. The opening hours say they're open until 9:00 PM, but by 8:30 PM you can't sit inside anymore, and by 8:45 PM, orders are being refused. At least ten customers were turned away, even though the restaurant was officially still open. Furthermore, the staff, including the manager, were unfriendly and unhelpful. Burger King Waalwijk could really learn a thing or two from McDonald's, where customers are treated kindly until closing time.

We arrived at 8:25 pm on Thursday, but couldn't get in because the waitress had just closed the restaurant doors. The McDonald's across the street won everything.

So you're standing there waiting for the door to close at 11 o'clock? Not really the bad Burger King of the Netherlands, it really can't be Nubis at 11:24 and so on. Not open yet, don't go there.

Everywhere they say they're open at 11, but it's still completely closed. Why can McDonald's manage to open at 7, but KFC and Burger King can't even manage to be open at their designated times?

No guests, but we still got old fries, meat instead of vegetarian, and still water instead of sparkling water. When it's this quiet, you expect a little more attention.

It is written that it is open till 22:00 But in 21:30 the doors are closed and nobody can get in. I would change the working hours because your beautifull employees dont want to work the full shift… What a clown show…

Massively understaffed. Took the "fast" out of "fast food."

Back after years, where I had my first job, so much has changed, only the drive-thru was slow, stood second for half an hour for milkshakes and fanta, they could easily have sent the person in front of me to a designated parking spot

Everything was dirty, the tables, the floors, and the toilets. The food wasn't great, and the staff was very grumpy.

There was no one at the drive-through, not even at the windows. I parked the car and ordered inside. The touchscreen didn't work at all, and some items weren't in stock. The staff were very disinterested and unfriendly. I wonder who's managing this place, because there's so much room for improvement. They should just close it down because this is ridiculous. It must be the worst-run Burger King in the Netherlands. The food was otherwise fine.

They accepted the order, but I had to wait a very long time and received an email saying the courier had arrived, but no one was there. I waited outside for over 10 minutes, but nothing happened. In short: food is great. Service: the guy throws the packaged burgers and sauces onto the tray from a distance. He clearly doesn't like his job! The returnable cups weren't registered. Ordered a strawberry milkshake, got vanilla. The floor was filthy, the tables were dirty and sticky, the floor in the men's room was covered in urine, and the toilet was full of feces. (It had different names, but Google rejected my review 🤣) Atmosphere: none! McDonald's across the street was packed, Burger King Waalwijk is filthy!!! Don't go here!

Just burgers. I noticed the prices have gone up quite a bit compared to a few years ago. Two large burgers and a drink are €29.

The staff isn't interested and makes a mess of things. Orders are still wrong, even after ordering the wrong burger four times. Food is also lukewarm to cold. Staff doesn't speak Dutch. This is unfortunately one of the worst branches.

The place looked a bit messy. Tables weren't cleaned, and the trash cans were full. The burgers were at a good temperature, but the fries weren't quite as good.

Yesterday I had a Big King XXL before I left for a trip to the south of France. I've had to stop several times now for diarrhea, which is no fun. I don't really understand what's going on; the Big King was delicious, and so were the fries. But apparently something was wrong, because I don't get this just like that; I never get it when I go to the McDonald's across the street. My advice: If you buy anything here, open the hamburger and check if everything is clean. Thank you, Burger King Waalwijk. Next time, I'll go to McDonald's.

Not a pleasant experience. Soggy sandwich. Curly fries not quite cooked through. Cola... well, it tasted more like brown water.

I placed a normal order (not so complicated) and they missed two items from my order. Unfortunately I only noticed it in the car on my way home. It bothers me bacause I paid for it and I did not get it. Also on the bacon cheese fries there were very little bacon and cheese. My chicken nuggets tasted like used oil. I won't go to this restaurant anymore.

Open until 10 and closing at 9:30 🤣 Then telling me at the window I should order in the drive thru (without a car). Such a bad experience… can understand all the bad reviews! Would love to give 0 stars!

After our visit to this Burger King we understood why it was so busy at McDonald's across the street and not here. There were only a few customers before us, yet we had to wait an eternity while the fries were already getting nice and cold and the drinks warm. The staff is not attuned to each other at all, almost everyone had to go back because something was wrong with their order. After more than half an hour of waiting we got our food to receive another disappointment, the sprite was just warm sparkling water in a dirty returnable cup. Still a positive note, you didn't have to search for a free table, there were plenty of them.

This was by far my worst BK experience ever. Lukewarm burger, coke without fizz and ice, menu incomplete.

I got a bit anxious when I was waiting for my food inside and started reading the reviews. Eventually my food arrived very quickly, hot and tasty. Staff was also friendly! Either they made some adjustments or the reviews for this are fake.

Not tasty, had to wait a long time but it wasn't busy. There were almost no people, now I understand why... Soda was warm. I got a cup with traces of lipstick. I didn't get a fork for my box of fries with cheese sauce. I will never come back.

Very bad service, every customer forgets something, not friendly, food too salty, you wait 20 minutes for 1 ice cream while it is not busy and then also an arrogant reaction when you ask for it. NEVER AGAIN..

For the first time we were not happy with the food. The fries with cheese were terribly salty, I didn't even eat them, the buns were different than in the description, and the drinks were a nightmare, water with food coloring. I understand that you have to save money with unlimited refills, but don't exaggerate...

Looks a bit messy. Probably not enough staff or something. The monitor where your order number is displayed is hard to read. Food was good though.

What a terrible business. The staff is even more stupid than the tiles around the building. After 15 minutes at the drive window I called to say, hey, is there anything else coming? We waited almost 45 minutes for our food and it looked fine inside except for the toilet which was dirty, there was paper on the floor everywhere and you could wash your hands with water but no soap

4 stars for food that you can expect from a fast food chain. Even though it was busy, tables were not cleaned and waste bins were not emptied. If a cup fell over on the floor, there was no mopping. In short, a filthy mess.

Worst Burger King we've ever been to. - Garbage bins were overflowing and were not emptied. - Half of the burgers were lukewarm when they arrived at the table. - Staff did not think it was their problem that there were issues with the deposit machine and therefore did not want to help.

Cold fries, had to exchange a hamburger because it was cold, receipts were difficult to scan and even though there were almost no people there, it was a mess. Toilet dirty, no soap.. so on.. never again.

What an extremely terrible BAD thing this is!!! Hamburger was cold so asked for a warm one.. This already gave me a strange look. After waiting for minutes I got a new one and it was also cold. Then I was done with it and asked for my money back. I was just treated rudely... I ordered a chocolate milkshake to go, I get vanilla. I actually have to ask if the cup that had been on the counter for some time was my order. The woman at the checkout was also so grumpy that she could only look angry and say hello. I came here specifically for the milkshake... NEVER AGAIN.

Yesterday got a cold burger and hair on my table

I wanted to report that that bacon was completely rotten. According to that gentleman, if you also see the photos of those burgers, the bacon is really crispy. But the branch manager, who was only too proud that it was him, started a discussion and said that it should be served raw. I immediately got a big mouth and couldn't have a conversation with him because he had no other point. I had to imagine that I wanted something else because this was really not edible. Came off nice and easy with a Wopper. Because there were no other options. Well, okay, we eat, it comes to the table with a photo of yes, look here, the bacon should be like this. This is a photo from another branch with a container of bacon. Which was raw and not fried. He just had to be right with a photo I saw him take in his own kitchen. Very sad person. Never coming here again too rude man.

The dirtiest and worst Burger King ever! Dirty toilet, no toilet paper and no soap, dirty tables and cold food. Garbage is lying around everywhere. Luckily we are not vegetarian because the vegetarian nuggets were not available. Deposit machine did not work

This was probably top 3 worst fast food experiences for our family. Considering we are American, that is saying something. The food was cold. Our food took 15 minutes to get. The meat patties were burnt and were half the size of the bun. The restaurant was filthy with over flowing garbage and dirty tables. Last but not least, the employees had no interest in interacting with customers. Skip the counter if you are looking for service, they will just ignore you.

Half the order was missing and I was charged a double wapper and it also said double wapper, but there was a normal wapper inside.

Often empty, but when it is busy there are always too few staff. Food is usually prepared well! I remember that 2 years ago a blonde Dutch woman in the kitchen made the burgers, they were incredibly bad and she deliberately added a lot of salt to them. My face then scrunched up and it bothered me for a long time!

The food was okay, nothing special and not really hot anymore unfortunately. Service from 1 employee was very good, but when we entered a code on the back of the receipt for a 20-minute survey that clearly stated that you received a free Whopper or hot drink, we were told by another employee that you have to buy it first? It's all a bit vague and not very customer friendly. I also did the survey at another Burger King and I just got free tea there. Otherwise a great location, near the Efteling.

Delicious food, there are also columns where you can test your food Large yellow sticker on it saying beware of the step. This is a plus point and you can see it clearly. Friendly and young staff.

Employee very grumpy, can't smile and the drink (Sprite) tastes like nothing, after pointing this out, according to her this is of course not true...

The burger turned out so bad, I thought I'd try the Whopper Jr. again. It was so dry and almost invisible in the bun (very small), it looked like it had shrunk, the tomatoes were bigger than the burgers themselves and the same goes for all the burgers I ordered, which is worthless. I remember the juicy tasty burger and that it was sticking out of the burger now you have to look for the burger between the bun. Unfortunately, it is highly inadvisable and will not be eaten again and it is a waste of money, especially for those absurd prices you pay for a sandwich and lettuce without a burger.

I did get something here via the drive-in, it was good, but it was closed today, Google said it was open and I came there today from the Efteling and it said the door closed at 8 o'clock, too lazy to change it on Google Maps even... crap, I just went to eat at the Mac across the street..

Already the umpteenth time I arrive and the store is closed, the site said it was open until 10:00 PM? Last time I was there at a quarter to 10, it was already closed, but today I'm there just after 9, everything is dark there. Out of misery I went to McDonald's because I was hungry anyway, I have to say the bk stuff is good and better than the mac. High time that something is done about this or else throw in the wrecking ball if they don't want to be open after all.

Forgot the sauce. But was resolved quickly. Amount of fries was very little of what you pay for. Could not hand in my reusable cup. Machine refused it. No milkshake available.

This is now the third time in a row that I have arrived at the door well after opening time and the business is still closed. It seems that they only open BK Waalwijk when they feel like it, and not otherwise. Today I was there at 3:15 PM. BK Waalwijk would be open from 3 p.m. There is a trash can in front of the drive through. The front door is closed and the bar stools are turned over on the table. The food is good, but you never know when you can go/enter. Very lousy. Don't be surprised if your customers don't come back because of this kind of practice!

Worst Burger King experience ever! Normally I won't talk bad about Burger King, I think the fast food chain is by far the best of all the hamburger joints and even though there is a McDonalds right opposite I will always choose BK. That being said, this is the worst branch I have ever visited: they give the wrong things, ordered ice cream afterwards and after fifteen minutes had to ask where they were and they had not even started at all and that whole system with those deposit cups makes no sense at all! Next time we come from Efteling and stop here, we will go to McDo...

Since we live in Waalwijk, we've been through Drive a few times but haven't had a single fresh burger yet. Tonight old burgers again and also very dry. Furthermore, the order was wrong, parked the car and went inside, then it was wrong again. This location is not recommended.
