Burger King in Wijk 00 Waalwijk

Very good experiences at this Burger King. I've been there three times now and the food is always hot, tasty, and ready quickly. I will definitely come back here!

There were only three staff members and it was incredibly busy. A burger was already cold the moment we started eating. A new one did arrive quite quickly, though.

I dont know who is writing this reviews but I have been in that Burger King twice this year, and twice I was ultra satisfied about speed of the services and clean tables. Mostly late but still, I was waiting around 5min for a big order. 5/5

After a day at Efteling, time for a culinary meal. I found my way there and was helped very kindly. The restaurant was already almost empty, as they were about to close. Unfortunately, the Sprite was sold out, but I was politely offered an alternative or allowed to wait a moment until the machine was refilled. The burgers are fine and the fries are edible. If I am looking for a quick bite again next time, I would definitely stop by again.

Who doesn't love a burger king !

I can waste few words on this. Everything here is bad. Don't go there because every other place is better. It looks run-down, it is deserted. And there is a reason for that.

Moldy bread!! I went to eat here on July 2nd. I got a simple sandwich, just a Long Chicken for a change. After taking a bite, I discovered the bread was moldy... I went to the counter, an employee called the manager over. The manager walked to the back to check the expiration date, and I saw her throw the crate on the floor, and the other one too. So the expiration date had passed... Instead of coming to me and offering apologies or something similar, she called out to the employee asking if she would ask me if I wanted a new one. Eventually, the employee apologized herself and gave me a refund. And the employee also offered me something else, something a manager should do. The manager didn't do anything else... I filed a complaint with Burger King; it was handled well there by the employee, but ultimately Franchise had 2 weeks to respond. Last email exchange with Burger King headquarters was on July 13th. Apparently, they aren't taking it seriously. By the end of the month, I still hadn't heard anything. Eventually, I sent another email on August 6th and was finally called by an assistant from Franchise. It was said that it was due to the warm weather... complete nonsense, because it wasn't even warm that day. The manager really needs to do a better job...

Ugly customer services ever. 20min waiting for my food

Six people are standing, one is working, and people are waiting for their orders. They charge 1 euro for a cup and then refuse to refund it! One of the worst coffee shops I've ever been to.

The food is the same as at every other branch. However, the service here is terrible – five people stand there and watch one person take orders, which makes the wait for food very long! There's also no choice of cups – you have to pay for a reusable cup, but you never know if you'll get one. I don't recommend it.

I was first in line to order, but I waited 20 minutes while the workers stood around chatting. The fries were crap, wooden🤮🤮🤮

It's a shame the music is so loud! This is driving me away

Burger King is supposed to be open at 12:00 but they are still not open then you try to call they just don't answer I will never come here again

If you order a Whopper and get it as Twister Fries, I will never order here again. It was around 8:30 PM and not busy, and you also had to wait almost 20 minutes for them to be ready, and they even forgot to give you water. I've been everywhere myself, but this is the worst Burger King fast food restaurant.

Time and time again a disappointment; today was the last time. Dirty tables, filth on the floor. Ants crawling around! Trash cans are overflowing. Staff snap at each other. A big bad wolf occasionally comes out of her office to snarl and returns, only to leave the young people alone again who are trying their best. Hard-working staff, but understaffed or insufficiently trained.

The lady does not wash her hands after using the toilet and then goes on to prepare food; how dirty can you be?

Good reception and delicious food.

Not as many people visit Burger King compared to its neighbors, which makes it look a bit dead during the day sometimes. Still, they often have great food. The ice cream is cheaper and just as tasty. It is a shame, though, that some staff don't speak Dutch but are still working in service.

The restaurant is open until 10:00 PM, but closes at 9:30 PM. Kudos to McDonald's for not closing earlier.

For the second time, I received a spoiled double Whopper at the drive-thru. Once is a coincidence, twice is a pattern. They tried to cover it up with bacon that I had refused with the order, and they had cooked the rotten burgers for an extra long time. This won't happen to me again. Goodbye bk.

What awful service; they have those ordering kiosks these days, and it's impossible to order normally at the counter anymore because that's apparently too much trouble. Never again this Burger King for me; by all means, keep going with those ordering kiosks.

Parking is a nightmare around dinnertime. It's also not clear which directions you can and can't drive in. Otherwise, it's a Burger King 😂 so just good.

Very, very bad! It takes too long to receive your order. I have been waiting for my order since 5:00 PM and it is now 6:37 PM and Thuisbezorgd still says I have to wait another 43 minutes.

The burgers were fine, but man oh man, you have to wait so long for your food here.

The food itself was fine, but the drinks were undrinkable and had a nasty aftertaste. The service, however, was top-notch! There were two of them working there, and we still got our food quickly.

The table was sticky and completely filthy, it took a super long time before we got our food, and the food didn't look very appetizing either.

The only positive thing about our visit was the burgers, which were tasty. After waiting 35 minutes for food for two people, we had mediocre snacks, a watery cola, and decent fries. However, a new cola was made immediately when I mentioned this, which was very nice. At 8:30, the doors were locked to people from outside, and we were practically stared out of the restaurant. The place was open until 9, by the way, so it seems to me that you should be able to order until 9. Apparently, that was definitely not possible. All in all, we didn't have a pleasant experience here. It's a shame, because it has been better.

8am, they don't let us in, we're closing, they tell me

The restaurant was dirty, the wait was very long, and most importantly, the burger was cold (the bun was ice-cold). So I took it back and got another one that was barely warmer…

The staff is extremely incompetent and the ordering screens cannot scan your coupons, forcing you to go to the counter. Something was missing from my orders, and that seemed to be the case with every order before mine as well.

I've never complained about the food. Today I arrived at 8:45 PM, and they closed at 9 PM. When I tried to open the door, the cashier sent me a nonverbal message that it was overdue. I thought that was rude. That was the last time I tried to go in there.

The chairs were already on the tables well over half an hour before closing time. It was apparently a miracle that we were still able to order, because when we realized we had forgotten something after placing our order and wanted to add to it, we were told they were closed. This was 20 minutes before closing time. The order was incomplete, and it was completed with clear irritation. Even the food tasted and looked as if it had been made reluctantly: limp, lukewarm, and tasteless. Not worth repeating.

Always nice after a long journey!

It takes a long time to get your order, and then you see the staff chatting with each other. It seems like there is no direction; orders also often arrive cold and incomplete... It's a shame because generally I find the burgers at BK tastier than at McDonald's, but the service there is much better.

Picked up some tasty hamburgers. The order was correct for a change; praise to the staff.

Good burgers, and what I personally really liked was the loaded fries with bacon and cheese sauce.

We are still eating and are being stared at, so to speak. The employee starts stacking all the chairs on tables around us. It is anything but cozy. The food is okay.

Love the food, just a shame about the price hikes.

The sandwiches, despite being fresh, lacked any warmth. I ordered extra bacon, but it wasn't included. Finally, I didn't get the right drink. A no-go for me, unfortunately.

Fastfood as it should be … fast and food! Was fairly busy, we had a fairly long wait but food was hot and as fresh as it could be …

What a terrible Burger King. Google says they're open, but I drive almost 25 minutes when I arrive, and they're closed. 7/1/2026. Bad, bad, not normal. Adjust the opening hours.

👍🏼 To the staff last night, for their service and helpfulness. The restaurant was clean, as were the tables and restrooms.

The food here is always delicious.

It's 11:00 a.m. but the restaurant is closed.

I arrived at Burger King at exactly 1:00—according to the schedule, they should have already been open and ready to serve people. But instead of simply turning on the register and letting me order my well-deserved burger, I was greeted by a cashier who apparently decided his true calling was converting customers to the religion of some anime “Elio-Horn.” So there I was, and he told me with a dead-serious face that I had to “join the holy order of the tailed ruler” because “otherwise, burgers wouldn’t sell.” I thought I just wanted to eat, but apparently, I had to audition for a fan club for an intergalactic unicorn from a cartoon! In the end—no food, no normal service, just an unexpected session of anime proselytizing. Guys, if this is your new marketing ploy, at least give me a heads-up. And if not… just open on time and save the converting to the Eli-Horn cult for later.

Barely any parking. When I got there, there was no parking, so I had to go through the drive-through. There was barely a menu, and the booths where you pay and pick up your order weren't clear: the first booth was empty, and after waiting for five minutes, it turned out you had to go straight to booth 2. Booth 1 did have a light on. It wasn't clear to me.

Came around 9.15 on a friday(open till 10), doors already closed. Was let in through the back by other costumers who said 'yes 10pm is 10pm'. Went to order something and a RUDE staff member told us they were closed. We told them that it says 10pm, then we showed on the internet that is said 10pm. Woman was extremely rude and told us that we couldn't read? And that were stupid. While the internet says 10pm?

Worst burger I've had in a long time. The meat was like cardboard... Absolutely awful!

Very, very, very bad!!! We had to wait an incredibly long time. We waited 20 minutes, and then half of them weren't there. We were a group of 11, and we ordered together, but some others also waited a full hour. And was it good? No! I've been to BK many times before, always positive, but this is truly subpar!

3 people staffing a very busy restaurant on a Saturday night after Efteling close. You will be waiting 40 minutes plus for food. AVOID

Glad to see they've recovered! After the pandemic, it was a bit of a tearful time. Lots of mistakes and no atmosphere. But thankfully, they've overcome that. I'm happy about that, because I still prefer the Whopper to any burger at the big yellow M across the street!

I'm very disappointed with the service at Burger King. The opening hours say they're open until 9:00 PM, but by 8:30 PM you can't sit inside anymore, and by 8:45 PM, orders are being refused. At least ten customers were turned away, even though the restaurant was officially still open. Furthermore, the staff, including the manager, were unfriendly and unhelpful. Burger King Waalwijk could really learn a thing or two from McDonald's, where customers are treated kindly until closing time.

We arrived at 8:25 pm on Thursday, but couldn't get in because the waitress had just closed the restaurant doors. The McDonald's across the street won everything.

So you're standing there waiting for the door to close at 11 o'clock? Not really the bad Burger King of the Netherlands, it really can't be Nubis at 11:24 and so on. Not open yet, don't go there.

Everywhere they say they're open at 11, but it's still completely closed. Why can McDonald's manage to open at 7, but KFC and Burger King can't even manage to be open at their designated times?

No guests, but we still got old fries, meat instead of vegetarian, and still water instead of sparkling water. When it's this quiet, you expect a little more attention.

It is written that it is open till 22:00 But in 21:30 the doors are closed and nobody can get in. I would change the working hours because your beautifull employees dont want to work the full shift… What a clown show…

Massively understaffed. Took the "fast" out of "fast food."

Back after years, where I had my first job, so much has changed, only the drive-thru was slow, stood second for half an hour for milkshakes and fanta, they could easily have sent the person in front of me to a designated parking spot

Everything was dirty, the tables, the floors, and the toilets. The food wasn't great, and the staff was very grumpy.

There was no one at the drive-through, not even at the windows. I parked the car and ordered inside. The touchscreen didn't work at all, and some items weren't in stock. The staff were very disinterested and unfriendly. I wonder who's managing this place, because there's so much room for improvement. They should just close it down because this is ridiculous. It must be the worst-run Burger King in the Netherlands. The food was otherwise fine.

In short: food is great. Service: the guy throws the packaged burgers and sauces onto the tray from a distance. He clearly doesn't like his job! The returnable cups weren't registered. Ordered a strawberry milkshake, got vanilla. The floor was filthy, the tables were dirty and sticky, the floor in the men's room was covered in urine, and the toilet was full of feces. (It had different names, but Google rejected my review 🤣) Atmosphere: none! McDonald's across the street was packed, Burger King Waalwijk is filthy!!! Don't go here!

Just burgers. I noticed the prices have gone up quite a bit compared to a few years ago. Two large burgers and a drink are €29.

Closed at around 21:30 for some reason

The staff isn't interested and makes a mess of things. Orders are still wrong, even after ordering the wrong burger four times. Food is also lukewarm to cold. Staff doesn't speak Dutch. This is unfortunately one of the worst branches.

The place looked a bit messy. Tables weren't cleaned, and the trash cans were full. The burgers were at a good temperature, but the fries weren't quite as good.

Yesterday I had a Big King XXL before I left for a trip to the south of France. I've had to stop several times now for diarrhea, which is no fun. I don't really understand what's going on; the Big King was delicious, and so were the fries. But apparently something was wrong, because I don't get this just like that; I never get it when I go to the McDonald's across the street. My advice: If you buy anything here, open the hamburger and check if everything is clean. Thank you, Burger King Waalwijk. Next time, I'll go to McDonald's.

I placed a normal order (not so complicated) and they missed two items from my order. Unfortunately I only noticed it in the car on my way home. It bothers me bacause I paid for it and I did not get it. Also on the bacon cheese fries there were very little bacon and cheese. My chicken nuggets tasted like used oil. I won't go to this restaurant anymore.

Open until 10 and closing at 9:30 🤣 Then telling me at the window I should order in the drive thru (without a car). Such a bad experience… can understand all the bad reviews! Would love to give 0 stars!

This was by far my worst BK experience ever. Lukewarm burger, coke without fizz and ice, menu incomplete.

After our visit to this Burger King we understood why it was so busy at McDonald's across the street and not here. There were only a few customers before us, yet we had to wait an eternity while the fries were already getting nice and cold and the drinks warm. The staff is not attuned to each other at all, almost everyone had to go back because something was wrong with their order. After more than half an hour of waiting we got our food to receive another disappointment, the sprite was just warm sparkling water in a dirty returnable cup. Still a positive note, you didn't have to search for a free table, there were plenty of them.

Not tasty, had to wait a long time but it wasn't busy. There were almost no people, now I understand why... Soda was warm. I got a cup with traces of lipstick. I didn't get a fork for my box of fries with cheese sauce. I will never come back.

I got a bit anxious when I was waiting for my food inside and started reading the reviews. Eventually my food arrived very quickly, hot and tasty. Staff was also friendly! Either they made some adjustments or the reviews for this are fake.
