Burger King in Wijk 24 Leuken

All the tables were dirty, as were the floor and restroom. The trash can was overflowing, leaving a lot of trash on the floor. The staff was unfriendly. A terrible Burger King.

Outdated and far too understaffed the day we were there. A 20-minute wait for a burger is way too long, especially considering its location right on the highway. The food—and that's the most important thing—was good and fresh.

Last Saturday, I ordered dinner at 8:15 PM (closing time 9:00 PM). Half the restaurant was already closed, making it very difficult to find a seat. In addition, the restrooms were already being cleaned, so no one was allowed or able to use them. I ended up taking my son outside to pee in the parking lot, but that doesn't seem like the best way to treat your guests. It was still 45 minutes before closing time!! I also had to go back to the counter twice because someone had forgotten one drink and one ketchup. Probably because the staff were so caught up in each other's stories. Our family will never return here!

Avoid all costs. Terrible customer service, they treating you as they are blessing you. Received wrong orders and dropped my drinks because they placed it crooked on the tray. They didnt care at all.

Toilet is not free, not even if you paid for food. Good was prepared well but mediocre service, short answers and no thanks etc.

The food is okay if you're willing to wait 20 minutes for your burgers at a fast food restaurant, but unfortunately, they're usually cold by then. To my surprise, the waitstaff didn't speak Dutch (on several visits). I'd recommend getting takeout here because it's always a mess of dirty tables and trays. The drive-thru is almost always CLOSED, so you have to go inside once you've managed to park your car.

Burger King has always been quality. Even though the restaurant is located on the highway, and with the flooding that occurred there, the service was quick and good. The staff was friendly.

I'd like to review the restrooms. 70 cents for a filthy mess! Welcome to the Netherlands. Two broken urinals and a huge mess on the floor. And who comes up with those urinals without water anyway? You'll get a slap in the face from the smell of urine that hits you. 70 cents!!! For what?

Absolutely not up to Burger King standards. Half the restaurant was already closed an hour before closing time. The remaining tables were dirty and sticky. The tables outside were also filthy. The toilets cost 70 cents, and for that, you get a disgusting mess. Two of the three urinals are broken, there's an overflowing trash can, a dirty floor, a poorly working faucet, and a broken blower. Change doesn't work. The staff is mostly focused on each other. The mayonnaise was paid for but forgotten. There's various furniture, some of which dates back to the 1970s.

Friendly and cheerful guys working there and the food was great

Old building looks a bit run down compared to your average McDonalds or KFC

Very friendly, attentive service. Sushi is recommended, noodle soup is more to your liking. Overall, highly recommended.

My first experience with Burger King. Terrible! The (young) staff seemed to be having a great time together, but there was little attention paid to customers in the restaurant. The result: dirty tables and an unswept floor. The menu listed four different salads. It turned out none were available. So I ordered a medium portion of fries. For the €4 bag, I practically needed a magnifying glass to see just a few fries. My first time at Burger King will definitely be my last!

Cold burgers and it was filthy. Floor, tables, basically the whole restaurant. People were yelling because the plates for the tables were gone. Probably a staff shortage. Not worthy of Burger King.

Fast service, the Wopper remains my favorite.

Despite the crowds, the food was served quickly and was nice and hot.

This franchise of burger king is not good

I'm religious and wanted to order a veggie burger because I was incredibly hungry. I asked if the veggie burger wouldn't be grilled in the same place as the meat (which wasn't allowed for me).

I could not believe my eyes when I arrived and the restaurant was CLOSED! It says it closes at 9 and you closed it at 8 and now my kids are hungry and giving me hell!!! Who closes the restaurant at the services at 8pm!!

Even though it was very busy, we got our food quite quickly. Everything was nice and hot, crispy, and delicious.

I've never experienced anything as bad as this. Eight of us went to dinner and had seven deposit cups. I wasn't allowed to return my cups because I didn't have the receipt. I'd thrown them in the trash along with the empty packaging. This was incredibly disappointing. Easy money.

Burgerkind's Whopper is just okay. The service, well...the atmosphere isn't!

At least seven items were missing, including full kids' boxes, drinks, etc. It was resolved, but the system they use is prone to errors. Too many people at the checkout, and no order verification.

The toilet is too disgusting for 70 cents, which you can only claim at La Place. The kitchen doesn't look fresh either. The staff is too lazy to bring the order. It's a shame for the price you pay here.

Unsanitary mess with disinterested staff. Tables not cleared, trash everywhere. No toilet use at all; nothing works there unless there are toilet paper towels. Worthless!

Food was not bad, nothing special, service was terrible because the terminals didn't work very well, tables were dirty and it is just a joke that you order food for 20€ but still have to pay 70ct for using the Toilette.

Ugh, a very disappointing experience. This was unfortunately one of the worst fast-food restaurant visits I've ever had. The entire place, from the filthy restrooms to the unkempt parking lot, felt neglected. The building itself looked run-down and uninviting, both inside and out. The meal was a complete disappointment. I received lukewarm burgers and cold fries. After returning to the counter twice, the service remained downright unfriendly. The staff spoke mostly Spanish or English and pretended they couldn't understand me. A complete lack of service and quality. This is a place I will avoid from now on.

Far too small and not enough staff

I had an ice cream here, a kind of McFlurry, it was just ice cream with Smarties on it.

What a mess. Nothing is checked or cleaned up anywhere. You stick to the floor.

I don't think things are arranged well here.

Respect for the staff working in this dilapidated restaurant, without working air conditioning, in the middle of summer. The owner should be utterly ashamed. For not addressing their working conditions and having the place repaired and renovated. It was hot outside, but even hotter and more stuffy inside.

Staff could be a bit more polite when it comes to stating numbers, and here we don't really like it in the 80s and then no, it doesn't belong

This place is located in a parking lot along the A2 highway. It's a great spot for a quick bite.

Almost as bad as the Burger King in Venlo.

The burgers 🍔 and service are quite good. The restroom 🚽 costs money 💰. The BK is still recommended for a little snack between meals.

We rarely eat fast food, but we wanted coffee. Upon arrival, we were absolutely shocked. What a horrible parking lot. Filthy down to the last blade of grass! Packaging, bottles, and emptied trash bins everywhere. The waste from Burger King cups. Truly scandalous. We've crossed 13 countries in our campervan and parked in the strangest places, but we never encountered this filth. We're ashamed to be Dutch. Shame on you, Weert! Burger King, clean up your mess outside! We kept driving!

Large. Plenty of seating. Paid restroom. Vending machines where you can even order your food, and you can also pay by credit card. The food is good, as you'd expect from Burger King. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, and they speak some English. The parking lot is large, but if there are a lot of trucks, only rely on Burger King's parking lot, which I believe has four standard and two accessible spaces.

A bleak and dirty establishment with unfriendly staff. The toilets are desperately in need of a cleaning. And you have to pay €0.70 for that. You can use toilet tickets at La Place. But... the staff said, "You can also redeem them here, but you have to place an order." So, we ordered coffee, a milkshake, and ice cream. "No, you have to place an order." Apparently, drinks and ice cream aren't orders?? What a shame! This was an unpleasant end to our short vacation. We'll never be back to this "roadside restaurant" again! Get rid of this restaurant!

Worst Burger King ever. They did not let us in. We were there 15 min before the closing time and the doors were closed. They saw us outside, two adults and two kids and refused to open the doors. Incredible! Rude, unprofessional and really unpolite!

Good service with fun at work even on a Sunday

Toilets cost 70 cents. For that money you can expect a decent toilet but that is not the case. Written everywhere with marker, stickers and flies. It stinks and it is not clean. 70 cents is a lot of money for a minute toilet visit. If it were not so expensive or free then it would of course be a different story

Very slow service and employees who find it more important to have fun with each other than to help their customers.

There is no hygiene, a very very dirty place, they don't turn on the air conditioning as soon as you enter you are overwhelmed by the heat, you can't enter

Hottest day of the week. No air conditioning on or broken. Toilets out of order. Petrol station shop does have a toilet but costs €0.70. Ordering was only possible on the column because the staff was too busy. The friendliness was palpable. After entering the complete order, payment failed, no receipt, no order, the order had to be entered again in its entirety. When asking the staff, they curtly stated that we can't do anything about it, you have to enter it again

Everything was very tasty and hot. The food here is tastier than in Mac. And about it being dirty, well, that's a question for the "people" who eat there, is it really that hard for you to clean up after yourself? It's clear that you can find fault with everything, but it's a snack bar on the highway, not a restaurant, be a little more tolerant!

The menus were not satisfactory, the options seemed few, I couldn't get enough and there is no drink machine, so you can only buy drinks once, you pay extra for the glass (1€) and you can return it if you want, it is a little different than the normal glass, it is made for travel, it is more durable. There is no table service, you get it yourself. It has a little insufficient space to order, when it is busy you can wait for a long time.

Food was great!!! Toilet was terrible!!! If you have to pay €0.70 for the toilet while you are also going to eat there I think it is ridiculous, but if there is no one there to clean the toilet even more so.... This toilet had not been cleaned for a few days I think, ladies toilet was even completely closed, while you had to pay for it 🤔 Missed opportunity of such a huge chain🥴

Dirty tables, but it was also really busy! Staff work hard, so put a napkin over the table yourself. We ate well and a friend had a vegetarian Long chicken and it looked very good :)

Toilets were downright filthy! Feces, flies in the toilet, etc. We had veggie nuggets, which were ok. Wrong sauce neatly resolved. The chocolate milkshake didn't taste like chocolate at all. My daughter got sick in the evening. I wouldn't be surprised by food/toilet.

Excellent Burger King, clean, quiet, you can pee for a while, but you can't get it back for 75 cents, except at La Place.

We had to pay 50 cents per person for the toilet in exchange for two vouchers that you can hand in at La Place (!). There was no paper in any of the filthy ladies' toilets.

It's very dirty, not a single table clean. It's 8 p.m. and there are few tables left because the chairs are there for the "imminent" closing. I only see students who make a lot of noise but who work little...

Food mediocre, lukewarm. The whole business ran on 3 employees who could hardly cope. This means you have to wait a long time for your order, toilets are very dirty (paying!) and the business itself has a lot of mess and spots of spilled drinks.

Be careful: for the paid toilet (0.70 €) you get a voucher for 0.50 €, but it cannot be redeemed at Burger King!!! Crazy!

What a rare disinterested employee. It was dirty. And no interest at all from the 2 employees. Are the people paid so poorly? Or not properly incorporated? 2 cups of coffee and a visit to the toilet cost more than 10 euros. And then not being helped like that. Scandalous

Super slow. Not even lunchtime (12:00AM) and for 2 burgers it took them 20 min….. don’t stop here if you want to do a quick “get in and out”

The dirtiest burger king ever seen. Not very polite service and rude answers when you ask questions. Food cold, tables dirty, building dilapidated, etc….

We were there around 11 in the evening, unmotivated staff, dirty and more concerned with each other than the customers..

We waited almost an hour for a veggie burger and a long chicken for my friend + drinks + ring onions . People started leaving and asking for their money back. When I asked how much longer we needed to wait they weren’t apologetic, they were complaining because they were only 3 people (but I see 4). Not even sorry; They were all very relaxed I didn’t see anyone in a rush. First and last time.

We waited for over one hour for the food, there was chaos in the kitchen, lady kept coming out asking about the tickets, people started to ask for their money back etc They said they were under staff (4 people total) but seing all the reviews, taking long is a common thing here.. They didnt seem to care and speed up a bit but instead chill, making jokes between them waling around etc.. Not very customer friendly. Food was ok though.. Slow food, no fast food here 🤣
