Café Babbelz in Wijk 00 Oosterhout-Centrum

Had a very fun evening at Babbelz during the music bingo. Incredibly hospitable owner and staff!

We had a birthday party here for a friend who was turning 60. What a lovely, cozy venue, with super friendly staff who really went above and beyond. Delicious snacks, very good and plentiful snacks prepared with care, and for dessert at the end of the evening, a cone of fries with mayonnaise. They sold like hotcakes. What a fantastic way to end the evening! The girl who kept us stocked with drinks deserves a compliment; I don't know her name, but she was bespectacled and had a white hair clip. A few glasses were knocked over and shattered, but between servings, she quickly cleared them up, and new glasses were back in no time.

I was here on Saturday and Sunday during Carnival 2025...a big party, full of fun with a very good DJ who had a good sense of the atmosphere and regularly used his microphone to take the audience along. I will definitely come back in Carnival 2026..

Very sweet owners who immediately make you feel at ease! Cozy pub with a very nice bartender, Jeroen, who if he opened his throat could perform with 'the top performers'. Top tent!
