Ended up here during King's Day. Great atmosphere and mixed crowd. From young to old. Everyone was enjoying themselves. Nice DJs with wonderful up-tempo music. Next year again and then I will come back to beautiful Alkmaar from Hoofddorp.

During a day trip to Alkmaar I ended up in this authentic and super atmospheric old brown cafe. Nice hospitable bartender, nice and special guests and delicious beers. Highly recommended.

If you want to promote Holland's most famous distillate, the best way to do this is to offer a tasting. At Café Bruintje they know how to do it... Extremely diverse flavors. Fantastic cafe with great staff. The caste line always has an eye for the guest and is happy to give advice about the many refreshments he has on offer. Always polite and always hospitable.
