Café de Boekanier is really cool! You spin the wheel, if you win you get something for free, but if you are unlucky you pay 2 euros. Cozy atmosphere, good beer and always something fun to do. Ideal to go with friends!

Top tent. They serve my favorite beer here. Jupilertjes, just delicious in the bottle and if you know which days you have to come, you can buy quite a few for ten euros. There is a wheel where you can test your luck. You can win shots with even less substance than your ex's personality and with the next spin empty your entire wallet on a forced ten beer, risk of the trade. And that makes it fun again. Too bad they removed the strip pole.

I must say that security has improved significantly (compared to 6 months ago). The doorman at the door was sympathetic and made me feel welcome and safe.

In terms of places to go out in Tilburg, this is a favorite for me. You just know that you will always have a pleasant evening when you go here. It is often not as crazy hot and busy as other places, although it is pleasantly full. I really appreciate that!

Based on past interactions and written reviews, this establishment made it very clear they only want a specific type of crowd. They will deny entry for simple things such as wearing earrings, but also for wearing the "wrong type of clothing or make-up". The security has a reputation of abusing their power and becoming aggressive to their own guests. Shoving and pushing guests, or physically assaulting them. This establishment does not want certain types of people or even LGBTQ people or people of color. What a shame that an establishment like this exists in the middle of Tilburg, while also profiting from all the people visiting for Pink Monday. They should be ashamed and I recommend no-one to visit them especially during pink Monday, because any other day you will definitely not be welcome.

De Boekanier is a top notch party cafe, welcoming people from all walks of life. Admittedly it's most suitable for Dutch-speaking people, but many internationals also frequent it for the good vibes. Trouble is very rare, and from what I've seen is always handled in a fair way. Looking for a party spot in Tilburg? This is your to-go-to place!

Very unprofessional security staff. Push you and pick a fight with you and then kick you out. Couldn't be worse…

The prices are really high here, but it is always super fun.

First they sell me 36 beers. Then, after enjoying a cigarette, I am no longer allowed to go inside to get my coat because I am too drunk. Who is being unreasonable here?

Geweigerd vanwege een broek die bij de Bershka gehaald was. Nergens anders ooit een probleem geweest. Na gesprek met medewerker opgelost. Maar geen prettige ervaring.

They have photographers walking around and taking pictures for social media which is super fun! The drinks are fairly priced and the music really hits the vibe well! Highly recommend.

Een van de beste kroegen van Tilburg qua muziek en sfeer. Soms is het wel veel rustiger dan in de grotere kroegen, zoals polly en live maar het de boeka is en blijft m'n stamkroeg!

Ze hebben hier bier en slechte muziek die wel leuk is om op te dansen en mee te zingen

Goede muziek en altijd een leuke en onstpanne sfeer.

Het concept "andere blik op pijpen" is geweldig voor de student die doordeweeks (di en do) opstap wil. Bier is 1,30, Rosebier 1,60 en desperados 1,90. Dus een leuke avond voor niet veel geld!

Altijd leuke avonden als je hier radje gaat draaien met vrienden!
