The friendly new owner is a friend of my sister. I took over the cafe together with her boyfriend, and they are making the best of it. There is a great atmosphere; nothing is missing. You can do all sorts of things there: shuffleboard, darts, watch football, dance. It's a top-notch place. There is a parking garage where you can park for free for 2 hours. Furthermore, you are close to the Leidschendam Lock, depending on what you order.

This fantastic place is like my second home. Very nice staff, great service. The bartender with the hat last weekend was incredibly caring for me and the others. Definitely recommended. The owner is also great and friendly.

We spent a pleasant afternoon here with a group of friends on the sunny terrace. There were about ten of us, we ordered several drinks and snacks, and ultimately spent a considerable amount. We were quiet, polite, and respectful towards the staff. Because we were a larger group, we put a few tables together. However, afterwards, the owner remarked to us in a rather cold and unpleasant manner that we should have put the tables back ourselves when we left. We had indeed forgotten to do so, but honestly, I think that can also be part of the staff's job, especially considering our consumption and proper attitude. I found the cold reception and the way it was presented very inappropriate and disappointing. It is a shame, because the café initially seemed very welcoming.
