A perfect stop for beer and bitterballen after running the Egmond Half Marathon. We were served promptly with our first three beers. The portion of bitterballen consisted of a whopping 18 pieces for three people and was perfectly fried. The host clearly understood our needs, and a second and third round of beers arrived quickly and almost without asking. Great place!

A welcoming, cozy cafe. Convenient for passersby to stop for a bite to eat. Parking is easy. There's a spacious terrace outside. Coffee, snacks, drinks. You'll feel right at home here.

Great service!! You do need to come with a group of less than 8, otherwise you have to share glasses. All in all, a great experience. The draw now feels like a victory. We come back here every time we're tied and driving by. The bittergarnituur (Dutch snacks) were the perfect temperature and were gone within 2 minutes. Until next time!

Tea at 0000 possible, among all the alcohol! 😀😘. Was fed up with soft drinks...and was cold. Always warm and cozy, probably since about 2000. Maybe even earlier!

I cycled past it 873 times before my cycling buddy suggested we get a traditional cyclists' cup of coffee here. Today we paused here again and enjoyed a farmer's omelette. Good service, excellent coffee and food and normal prices, so great!

We stopped by. I have been living in Krommenie for a year and a half. There happened to be a birthday with a DJ. A friendly atmosphere. Very nice owners and good and fast service. Best of all: Hertog Jan on tap!

Cool place to visit for a chilling beer 🍺 enjoying the sun , while sitting at outside table. Family atmosphere and smiling faces all around, makes this place feel friendly and easy going:) I definitely recommend this spot, even if You jump in only for 10-20min 👍 All the best to the crew 🙌 M.

We were so happy to finally find a neighborhood local bar. Very lively owners with good service (and free bowl of nuts with the beer!)

Went here early in the morning to grab a quick bite with a colleague since it was the only place that was open. Excellent food, and personnel was very friendly. Glad they open early.

There was nothing else open on a monday so we came by coincidence as there was no other choice. Coffee was lovely and the server was very nice. Very close to the station.

Beetje aparte plek langs het spoor. Maar uniek in de Zaanstreek. Erg ontspannen en verwelkomend sfeertje. Leuke kleine lunch kaart. En zelfgemaakte hapjes aan de bar. Met jonge nieuwe eigenaresse.

gezelig klein cafe schoon, fijne bedienig, alleen de gordijntjes mogen wel wat lager of weg maar dat is persoonlijk

Weer als vanouds gezellig, was er al 14 jaar niet geweest maar gelukkig is er niets veranderd. Goede koffie, hartelijk personeel en gezellige stamgasten.

Na een wandeling gezellig gezeten op het terras. Vriendelijke, vlotte bediening. Leuk, sfeervol café.

Leuke plek om na een lange wandeling even bij te komen. Dichtbij het station. De wijn is goed op temperatuur en de bitterballen heerlijk!

Tolle Lage. Urig. Bei gutem Wetter ein schöner Ort für eine Pause.

Van binnen is het hier gezellig, wat je op het eerste gezicht van buiten niet direct verwacht. Zeer lokaal publiek in een van binnen echt bruine kroeg waar de geur van vloeiend bier en tabak van oudsher nog diep in het hout zit. Vriendelijke bediening en vriendelijke locals. Prima plek als je hier in de buurt moet zijn voor een kop koffie.

Leuke bijzondere Haven met veel historie zeker een aanrader om zomers lekker te fietsen en te genieten van een mooie stad. Met vele historische dingen genieten van restaurants en vele andere dingen.
