Beautiful authentic pub! It looks, smells and tastes like a typical Dutch café. The fact that almost everything is made of wood inside creates a creaky feeling, wonderful. Also nice and cozy, both inside and outside on the small terrace in front of the door. Located nicely on the corner of a beautiful little intersection in a residential area. Recommended!

We took a day trip to Haarlem and came upon this lovely little bar. We ended up staying for hours as they were having a Dutch music night. We were the only English people there but it was so much fun and only added to the vibe. Extremely friendly service and the highlight of our holiday to Amsterdam.

Heerlijk in de zon op het gezellige terrasje gezeten. Ze hebben een leuke bierkaart met lokale bieren en lekkere hapjes. Vooral de gehaktballetjes zijn een aanrader! Daarnaast erg vriendelijk personeel.

Ik woon al 21 jaar in haarlem en de vijfhoek heeft mijn leven in al die jaren echt vormgegeven. Dit is echt de enige echte plek op de wereld waar je jouw passie kan ontdekken en jouw levensdoel kan vinden. Ik heb talloze kennissen zien opbloeien na hun eerste bezoek aan dit prachtige café en het zien maken in hun leven. Van mijn beste vriend die de 14de driedimensionale hoek heeft ontdekt en super rijk is geworden tot mijn vader die hier zijn talent voor boeren heeft ontdekt. ECHT EEN AANRADER!!!

De vijfhoek, is een plek van pakken en nemen. Ik pak een pilsie en ik neem vreugde. Het is een plek van constant genot. Er zijn weinig dingen in het leven die mij meer motiveren dan café de vijfhoek. In het oude testament is te lezen dat het een van 7 wereld wonderen is, en het is gelijk het meest spectaculair. Als je op je sterfbed ligt en je hebt nog nooit de ervaring van het hemelse juttertje meegemaakt. Dan weet je dat je leven toch niet helemaal volmaakt was. Samengevat, maak je leven een stuk beter en kom naar café de vijfhoek!

Voor elke hoek één ster. Door te drinken bij dit café heb ik de moeder van mijn kinderen ontmoet, is mijn depressie per direct verholpen, mijn geslachtsdeel met tien centimeter gegroeid, heb ik een aanzienlijk betere lichaamsbouw gekregen, vijf side hoes, aangenomen bij mijn droombaan en mijn levenslust in het algemeen exponentieel gestegen. Nu ben ik de man die ik altijd al heb willen zijn.

Lekker plekkie om een pilsje te drinken. Borrel plankje is lekker simpel en niet duur. Dikke griffel

Very cute little bar in the center of the vijfhoek. Great ambiance but it’s hard to sit outside (where most of the seating is) because people smoke out there. I would go there more often if they didn’t allow smoking at the tables. Also the drinks are pretty expensive.

Entonces este es tu lugar en el barrio VIJFHOEK. Un paseo a través de él y terminar aquí para tomar una copa y un aperitivo. Simplemente no puede ser más auténtico que esto en Haarlem.
