Café de Zeevaart in Wijk 00 West-Terschelling

Sad place. As a group dressed in suits, we were not allowed inside because we were supposedly wearing monkey costumes. Access denied without further ado. A very shocking experience for all of us. What madness that fellow man, who just wants to have a nice beer, is treated like this!! Just yesterday they were lining the pockets of the place. Incomprehensible‼️‼️ 0 stars, but that wasn't an option.

Worthless place, they don't let anyone in and are very unfriendly to people who aren't from the island. We were forcibly kicked off the terrace when we politely asked if we could come inside.

If you have a darker skin tone you don't get in, and if you play for a football club you don't get in either………

I wasn't allowed in because I'm on a football team. I feel discriminated against. It's a shame it has to be this way.

I've been having a fantastic time here for years; it never disappoints. The best café on Terschelling.

The streets are empty. But in Cafe de Zeevaart, it is bursting with coziness. Alex (the guy who works here) welcomes us with open arms and immediately offers us a golden yellow cylinder. Unlike Storm, we were certainly allowed to chug here. I will definitely be back!

Several people on the island mentioned it would be great. But apparently, groups aren't welcome... strange, no sales then...

Absolutely worthless, they won't accept more than a group of 3 people from the mainland, they won't go there, they won't listen to reason, the turnover isn't worth it!

Because the bartender was having a bad day, we weren't served any beer. The reason: there were 10 of us in a nearly empty bar.

What a strange owner… quietly standing there drinking a beer with our orchestra and being asked to leave the tent… #hopeless

I was referred here with a group of friends because it was supposedly fantastic. We were immediately turned away. It's fine if this policy exists, but communicate it with a door policy. This makes no sense.

We are not allowed to enter with more than 2 people, the owner is very inhospitable
