Cozy cafe, but shame about the loud music

Nice food, good variety of beers, friendly staff, perfect music. What else do you need? I reccoment!

We recently had dinner at this restaurant with a group of twelve people, but unfortunately the experience did not meet our expectations. Upon arrival at 5:50 PM we had to wait until 7:00 PM for the starter and the main course was not served until 8:15 PM. This long wait was disappointing, especially for a larger group. The ordered prawns actually turned out to be more like scampi in size. The daily special, a sole, was not dry per se, but was served with an excessive amount of liquid on the plate. In addition, the meat dishes were lukewarm and the satay sauce and pepper sauce were even cold. Given this experience, we are considering canceling a future reservation with an even larger group. This is a shame, because we went to eat here on the recommendation of others. We expected better service and quality.

But buddy, those chorizo ​​nachos are the ultimate!! So good.

When we come here for a drink on Saturday between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM, they always make room for us. It's also nice that they now know what we like to drink and which snacks we like to eat. It's the little things that matter to him and they understand that all too well here. ;-) Besides the cozy atmosphere, the staff is always very nice and correct. Besides the delicious snacks, we have not had lunch or dinner here before.

Cozy place to go. There is a relaxed atmosphere and the staff is very friendly. The kitchen takes a lot of time to prepare the meals, so I got the impression of understaffing. The wait staff is plentiful and works quickly and efficiently. Started with an onion soup that was very standard and made little impression. Then had a rib-eye steak that was very tasty but also a bit tough. Normally I am used to a more tender piece of meat. The additional port sauce was tasty but did not really impress. My partner had a duo of beef which was very tender (both the tournedos and the sukade) and had the cherry fleur for dessert which was very tasty. All meals were presented in a very neat manner, which is certainly worth a compliment because the eye also wants something.

Vandaag gegeten bij het Vermaeck om de 81e verjaardag van mijn moeder te vieren. Door de abnormale drukte viel het allemaal behoorlijk tegen. Taaie biefstuk en het eten was koud. Jammer maar je kon aan alles merken dat ze het niet aan konden. Veel te druk waardoor de kwaliteit van alles veel te wensen overliet. En ook nog heel erg duur!!!

We thought we would celebrate my dad's birthday with the family. Literally bullied by a number of regular guests. Started with a water pistol against us, after asking politely 3 times to stop we were laughed at and my friend indicated again that they had to stop. Then they deliberately sprayed me. My friend then threw back the bottom of his glass, after which all hell broke loose. We had the entire dinner and dessert comments thrown at us, were called names, made things up, bumped into us with shoulders while we were eating and when we walked away they got up to chase us. I didn't even get to say hello to my family normally. We held back all evening because we didn't want to be bullied away, but in the end I got into the car in tears. I will never come back here, even though the food was really great and the waiter tried to appease us and apologized to us for the situation... All we wanted was a nice evening, it's a shame that' a bunch of idiots that can ruin things so terribly.

Cozy and well-maintained business for a very wide audience. Two terraces, one with a playground. The kitchen is in perfect order, the menu offers something for everyone, meat, fish and vegetarian dishes and of good quality. The price-quality ratio is extremely good. Service was also friendly and adequate.

Just on spec, we drove to Het Vermaeck, where we arrived just in time to have dinner. We were told this jokingly, but we were (and felt) very welcome. Had a delicious dish of the day (lamb chop and pasta with salmon), super tasty. All the time was also taken for the delicious dessert. Dietary wishes were carefully listened to (I am not allowed to eat undercooked fish or meat), which is always nice when you notice that it is so well understood. The atmosphere was very pleasant, evening of Dutch hits, we were almost swinging along at the table :) After about 10 hours it became a bit busier and the music volume gradually increased, then the evening 'café' begins. But it remained very pleasant. And when it really became too noisy for us to talk, it was time to go. We will definitely come back here again!

Yes that was super fun!! All very friendly. We had some small snacks that were really tasty and well prepared! We also got involved in the carnival for a while because various associations were having "meetings" and that was also nice to experience. In short, highly recommended!@

Prima vrijdagavond borrel. Ruime keuze op de bierkaart. Geserveerd met originele glazen. Goede vegetarische bitterballen en uitstekende nachos.

Een dikke pluim voor 't Vermaeck. Ik mailde van tevoren met een enorme waslijst aan allergieën, en was toch gewoon welkom. Ze maken alles vers en hebben op basis van mijn lijst de "goede" seizoensproducten kunnen inkopen. Eenmaal daar werd er nog wat overlegd voor de zekerheid, maar in feite was dat niet eens nodig. Het eten was bijzonder lekker en 100% geschikt! Extra eervolle vermelding voor het feit dat de kok heeft bedacht dat je niet alleen dingen moet weglaten bij allergieën, maar ook dingen moet toevoegen om aan een volwaardige maaltijd te komen. Ik ging dus zeker niet met honger naar huis na twee prachtige borden vol verse groenten. Tevens een extra eervolle vermelding voor de chef die bedacht dat walnoten geen noten zijn maar pitten, dat is bij ontzettend veel mensen niet bekend. En tot slot een eervolle vermelding voor de enorm vriendelijke bediening. Een super ervaring!

This was small restaurant like a lot in my life. But oh boy how tasty it was. I had shrimps in chili crème which was amazing. Truly unexpected

Prima gegeten voor een heel redelijke prijs in dit informele restaurant. Ook de wijnen zijn heel schappelijk geprijsd. Het was gezellig druk en de bediening speelde daar goed op in. Ik was hier eerder geweest en kom hier zeker weer eens terug.

Lekker gegeten voor zeeeeeer democratische prijzen. Alleen, we zaten op het terras en dat is aan een druk kruispunt gelegen, ze hebben wel geprobeerd het terras aan te kleden met muurtjes en bloemetjes maar het drukke verkeer blijf je horen. Zeer vriendelijk personeel en een menukaart waar eens iets anders opstaat dan de traditionele spaghetti.

Heerlijk gegeten, vriendelijk personeel. Je zit er alleen niet heel rustig, best wel rumoerig.

Ideale plek om te eten met kinderen. We zaten op het terras en de kinderen vermaakte zich in de grote speeltuin. Er was een speciale kinderkaart met ruime keuze. Bediening was erg vriendelijk en uitgebreide bierkaart. Wij hebben een heerlijke avond gehad met twee kinderen van 2 en 4.

Brood met carpaccio besteld, zonder sla en komkommer enzo. Wat kreeg ik? Brood met een paar schijfjes carpaccio, tomaat, komkommer, als en olijven. En er zaten welgeteld 5 uitgebakken spekjes op. Erg teleurstellend en dit was ik ook niet gewend van Het Vermaeck. Maak het dan €3,00 duurder en zorg dat het goed belegd is, dit is een aanfluiting. Jammer
