Café hall the Golden Lion in Dongen

The food was delicious. Generous portions. The people are very nice and the service is top-notch.

Our lovely local pub! Cozy traditional pub with a nice and personal atmosphere. We are big fans of the delicious food. The value for money is really excellent. Happy with this nice place in our village!

The food here is always good. Better and more than you would expect from this cozy "traditional pub". Good service. Friendly owners. We enjoy coming here.

The black gold...delicious...lots of tasty beers and always pleasant

Enjoyed a nice party in the separate room. Very good service and tasty snacks.

It's always nice when you're there

On Fridays and Saturdays, you can enjoy a meal at the cafe. New specialty beers are on tap every month. This month's beer is Delirium Tremens. Blues and rock bands regularly perform in the main hall. Always cozy, good quality, affordable, hospitable, and Sanne provided excellent service. Also suitable for weddings, parties, and celebrations!

Reserved a room for a reunion. It was great!

Went here for a wedding a while back. It's a really lovely cafe! The restrooms are nice and clean, and the staff is very friendly. The service is incredibly quick to ask if you'd like another drink. Sometimes I'd only just finished my glass for a few seconds before they were back. But compared to other cafes, that's certainly nothing to complain about. It's also nice that smoking is still allowed on the premises.

Had a super fun party. Great service. Nice atmosphere.

Friendly staff, good atmosphere

A very dated, dark place with dark brown decor from the 70s. It also smelled musty, as if it was never aired out. The coffee was Nescafe diluted with far too much water. The staff was friendly.

Cozy place, with great atmosphere, good service and food. And certainly affordable.

Our 30th wedding anniversary celebrated at the golden lion. What a top location and what a good atmosphere. Good and friendly service top owners and their staff. We had a great party

Ate here recently, a really old-fashioned cafe, but good quality and the same prices. Good beers on tap too. However, I do not give 5 stars for these reasons, but because of the attentive and friendly staff. Gold for a catering business if your staff keeps a close eye on the guests and ensures that they lack nothing.

Great bar with loads of nice people. A typical Dutch café

Best blues café in the Netherlands where only top bands are allowed to perform. 🎶🎹🎷🎤🎸

There was a performance and it was very cozy and attractively decorated

Celebrated a friend's birthday party.

Delicious food for an affordable price, of course we will stick around, so much fun!!!

Once a month the "blues" in this café. Nice atmosphere, nice people and good music

Very tasty meal salad for a brown cafe. Very busy, hot and noisy. But yes, it is also a cafe

Truly the best café in the Netherlands for many years!

Toppy always absolutely fantastic. Ambience and price.%100.

Cozy pub, where you can enjoy a delicious dinner on Saturdays for a reasonable price. The parties are also fun and well organized.

The ideal room for a party. Stage for band or DJ. Good service.

Always fun to spend an evening relaxing.

Once again we had a delicious meal and a nice evening.
