Cafe Rembrandt in Schiphol

The burger was super simple, but okay. What I liked most about this place was the service and the vibe. It's an airport, so of course it's expensive.

Schönes Pub mit drei Bereichen: drinnen, davor und draussen. Nicht überlaufen, aber trotzdem gut besucht. Schliesst abends früh. Aufmerksame Bedienung und im Gegensatz zu den meisten anderen Orten auf der Landseite des Flughafens Schiphol mit Stil. Etwas wenig Auswahl beim Essen. Aber gut.

Cozy place, especially in the afternoon sun. Service is fast and friendly.

One beer 30cl and one Amstel was 14 euros very high prices - airport tariff. However, the staff was friendly and it has a nice outside sitting area at the corner of the airport so a bit away from the chaos.

Awful service! As a tourist just arriving at the airport, being yelled by the waitress was incredibly rude.

We went for the bitterballen and beer but found the place closed

Since Dolf (Storemanager) stopped working there (2021), everything has really only gone downhill. We had a dirty and sticky table. Croque Monsieur came out of the microwave and the bread that went with the meatball in gravy did not taste good.

Mi sono fermato qui per una colazione abbondante dopo essermi alzato alle 3 del mattino per prendere il mio volo per Amsterdam. Locale carino, molto olandese, con sedie esterne e spazio interno. Ho mangiato un buonissimo sandwich croque monsieur con prosciutto formaggio e besciamella fusa, spremuta di arancia e cappuccino. Tutto ottimo

The place for a drink with Schiphol colleagues

Rude employee, not customer friendly at all!!! We enter, there is apple pie in the display case, with a sign Threat YOURSELF! My father thought that people could take the cake themselves. Plates and forks are also included. The grumpy employee put his hands in the air, shook his head, commented that we should keep our hands off this. He looked angrily at us. We felt so uncomfortable that we left and had a cup of coffee and cake elsewhere. The employee could therefore have indicated that he enjoyed serving his customers, or at least could have shown understanding for the text “Threat Yourself”, which was therefore (understandably) interpreted differently.

Nice staff, service minded. The drinks plate is truly fantastic and delicious beers and corn wine.

Decent enough bar but expensive drinks, suppose that's everywhere now. Fast service a plus

It's not only a nicely decorated and inviting pub but the welcome one receives from the staff makes the difference. Very warm, friendly and inviting. Top !@

Wonderful to sit with friends and/or colleagues

For 22 Euro, this burger was terrible.

At first it looks quite cosy and the waiters seem nice, however, the prices of the drinks are not completely advertised and the brand name drink you order clearly tastes like a cheap bottom shelf knockoff.

Nice pub right in the middle of the airport but still not too busy. Pint was pricey but that's airport pints for you

Fake beef burgers , please pay attention !!!! It’s very obvious, if you ever ate vegan burgers you will know what’s up , server was rude and said it’s a real meat too 😆😆

We've visited this place before for beers and bitterballen. Today, we observed an older waitress being rude to a couple who had been waiting a long time to order. They left and when we requested service, she told us to wait and not to be aggressive. Clearly, she loves her job 😂

It took a while for them to realize I was there even though it wasn't busy. But friendly lady. Lovely to sit outside. Outside service too. So that's pretty great actually! Half liter Amstel €9.75. That makes it the most expensive bar in the airport. Many others are all around €7.50-8.50.

Airport cafeteria/restaurant. The only Amstel beer we have found has been here. Expensive, but it's the airport....

The prices here are a testicleless impudence

Me and a friend got a food poisoning after we both had a mixed plate of some dutch dishes. Also the price for a large beer was awful (more than 9€). I'll definitely never come back again... The only good thing was the service.

Thought "oh nice tent!" Until we sat down inside. The older lady at work was really not enjoying herself... the first one she gave was the wrong beer, which she clumsily put on the table without speaking a word, then she snapped at her staff, who could do it right! I think it's a shame that everyone in the tent saw that the woman was on VERY dark clouds... croquette sandwich was delicious.

Nice brown cafe-like atmosphere. The bites they offer are not prepared at this location, but overall they are good.

40€ for 2 beers, the most expensive beers of my long life

Great little pub to sit in and wait for your flight or train.

This traditional style Dutch Café is located in Schipol airport before you go through security. We really enjoyed our short visit. I had a coffee and my partner had a local draft beer. There are pleasant seating areas and the staff are all very friendly.

It's a good place in the Schiphol airport.

Vi tog en lunch på Rembrandt innan vi skulle flyga vidare. Restaurangen ligger lite längre in på flygplatsen vid en av utgångarna. Trevlig pubmiljö med smårätter som hamburgare,smörgåsar och sallader. Jag provade deras hamburgare med öl som var dagens tips! 22 euro! Hamburgaren var handgjord och till den ingick det chips! Den var god och vällagad. Lite rosa i stekgrad så att den inte blev torr! Perfekt! Trevlig personal där de snabbt rättade till min beställning när en liten öl kom ut på bordet när jag skulle ha en stor pint som ingick i veckans tips!

Best bar in Schiphol! This is where the holidays start!

An expensive bar with pleasant staff and located just in the corner of the covered Schipol airport terminal, near the train station. The bar has an outside seating area too. Beers are expensive at 9euro a pint. The food I had was very poor. I ordered a burger, which came with only crisps (chips) and no fries. On my first bite, the overly fatty burger shot hot fat through the bun and onto my hands! The meat patty was far to fatty for my liking, I wouldn't expect that much liquid fat in a burger. Overall, a disappointing experience. Whilst the bar may be good, look elsewhere for food. (Burger King is nearby, has cheaper meals that also include chips and a drink!)

After waiting fifteen minutes for a cup of coffee, I asked where the coffee was. Answer: Oh I forgot. And that while there was no other guest present.

We stopped off while waiting for family to collect from airport. Very friendly staff, chatty without been intrusive, excellent coffee and apple pie was as good as you'll get anywhere and better then most. A good buzz

This is the best bar on the airport, service is great and the waitress and waiters are very helpful and friendly, absolute musthave!!

Serveerster liet dienblad met bier vallen . Alles over ons heen. Glas langs ons gezicht . Ons 1 uur nieuwe kleding volledig onder, i- phones , tassen etc. Tot op onze onderbroeken nat. Geen sorry !!! natuurlijk kan zoiets gebeuren en wij zeiden K *t omdat we ons kapot schrokken en baalden omdat we drijfnat en naar bier stinkend het vliegtuig in moesten maar om vervolgens een grote B*K van de baas (?) te krijgen lijkt mij de omgedraaide wereld . Wij moesten begrip tonen 😂Kwam echt ontzettend dom over.

Eindelijk op vakantie met onze dochter, worden alle drankjes bij het aanbieden omgestoten. Alle nieuwe kleding onder het bier. Schandalig slecht uitgeserveerd. En als je er iets van zegt worden wij daar op aangevallen ipv oprechte excuses en schadevergoeding aan te bieden.

Too expensive for the value you get, but still a nice place at landside of the airport to grab a drink when commuting onwards. Service level medium. Can be busy at times. From the bar you can go upstairs and get to check-in area 1/2 easily. Really too expensive for the value I repeat. 5 euro a Heineken beer.

1 of 2 beers ordered tasted flat and the gemengdbittergarnituur (‘snack plate’) was a disaster… fried everything including braunschweiger!? which really SHOULDNT, I can now say, be deep fried.

Just a good glass of beer and tasty satay.

Waiters all stay inside, don’t give a care to those sitting outside. Bad attitude when complained. Average food quality.

Among the meal options at the airport, we chose this one as it seemed to be the most comfortable and with the best value for money, as we would like to have a snack and drink beer. The place has a really nice layout and is quite cozy. The waiter's service was excellent and very polite and the food didn't take long to arrive. I was disappointed with the quality of the food because it was really low, the burger looked like the frozen ones from the supermarket and the ingredients were cold. The nachos, in fact, looked like Doritos literally taken out of the bag. Regarding the price, obviously considering the quality I found it expensive, the total cost for both people was ~€44.

Prices are bit high people a here stressed but still kind to the costumer. Thank You.

a great Cafe with an appearance that makes you say we will visit here again. Even an outside terrace where you can also enjoy and if you want to enjoy a sitting corner with fewer visitors. Smoking options with panoramic views. Plan your time and at least walk past the cafe to make sure it is not too busy, unless one likes to sit in an almost full cafe like a supermarket, nice and warm and even romantic (candle lighting).

There is no better place at Schiphol to drink beer. Missing the Peanuts these days

Beautiful Café with old-fashioned decor (dark wood) and very nice tap with painted tiles (scene from the former Amsterdam) behind it. Very friendly service and a tasty lager (Amstel) on tap.

You're being ripped off here. 0.3l beer for 7€. The menu says medium, but you only get a small.

A place -Café bar- at the airport in front of the giant letters that make up Amsterdam, has a very good coffee machine, especially the cappuccino. It is a place with a very peculiar decoration from Rembrandt's time, large paintings also decorated on the ceiling, with a lot of wood everywhere and also stained glass in the windows. The waiters were very attentive and also served us very quickly. If you have time to the airport be sure to visit it, it is also a brewery.

We sat together for an hour and after half an hour we asked if we could order something. This was not possible because the lady was still busy.

However, on the surface it appears to be very cute. It is located inside the airport, in front of the large Amsterdam sign. However, the food needs to be completely reviewed. At a cost of €9.50 they bring 2 croquettes with bread, but in reality they are on two pɒn carré. The chips that would have been a strong point of the Dutch tradition instead taste like cheap detergent. [¿How is this possibleʔ] We will never return to this place again¦ Furthermore, the opened 25 ml bottle of water costs 3.50 euros. It wasn't a good way to say goodbye to Amsterdam.

We had to ask for someone to take our order after we had been sitting for fifteen minutes. Even after that it took a very long time for anyone to arrive. We left angry and decided not to eat or drink there. Just figure it out.

Few things to eat, a lot is crossed out. No order is taken outside, as it turns out after a long time. The food is toast, croquette sandwich, but that is prepared by Toko to go across the street. They then forget half of it. 1 croquette sandwich came with 2 slices of dry white bread and a tub of butter, the other - which came 10 minutes later - came with 1 slice of bread and mustard. The staff doesn't notice. And then you have to wait until you get cutlery... The price is huge

Nice enough place and staff but I'm pretty sure the food made me ill. The fries tasted like they had detergent on them.

You have to go inside to order no waiter service outside the teras

Definitely worth a visit, great food and a good choice of beverages. Staff are helpful and quick in attending to your table .

The highest level that you can find for a brasserie: you have to go to the bar to order, you have to go back there to get your drinks, the tables are a little sticky. There is certainly little competition in the airport, especially one evening at 8 p.m., but it is really excessive in the lack of consideration

Cozy cafe with very friendly staff.

The vibe inside the cafe is a classic with some Rembrant paintings here and there, antique themed lighting, poster and traditional dutch half length curtains on the windows. Perfect for a 'Biertje en bitterballen tijd'. If you sit inside, you dont quite feel like you are at the airport.
