Went for a 4 course dinner on the Amex dinner deal. Great location, excellent service and the food was beautifully presented and tasty.

Superb service. We couldn't quite figure out the menu (it was a special Amex menu), but the chef personally explained everything and offered helpful solutions for dishes we really didn't like. They really go the extra mile here. We were more than satisfied with the food and the entire staff. The guys were fantastic!

They charge you to use the toilet after they charge you for a drink and charge you at the door. Ive never been to a bar that makes you pay to use their toilet. Abhorrent

We had a great experience at Café Restaurant De Kroon. The service was exceptional, Sharina was an amazing waitress, honestly the best we’ve had in Amsterdam. The food was really good, with portions that were above average, and the drink prices are quite reasonable for Amsterdam, especially in the city center. We’ll definitely be coming back!

It was a bit loud because of another event in the restaurant but the food was extra ordinary, especially the burata. Mor the bartender youre the man!

I'd reserved a table in advance for 7:30 PM to have drinks with a few friends for my birthday. In my reservation, I'd mentioned it was my birthday and requested to sit in the conservatory, overlooking Rembrandtplein. Upon arrival, we were greeted with open arms, and they had beautifully decorated a table in the conservatory. After a while, they asked at the table if we were all together, and then they arrived with fireworks and a sgroppino, accompanied by a birthday song. The food and drinks were excellent value for money, and I definitely recommend everyone to come here for a cozy evening of cocktails.

Definitely one of the nicest bars in Amsterdam. Enjoy a delicious meal first, followed by a dance with a nice drink. Located on Rembrandtplein, it also has a beautiful view!

Great atmosphere. We went for a salsa-bachata party. The only drawback, which wasn't mentioned on the website or anywhere else, was that you have to pay to use the restroom every time. We didn't have any change, and the restroom attendant let us use the restroom once, and then it was over. Not very hospitable.

Please note the toilet is €0.50 even for customers!

The bald guy did not let us in even though we had a pass for pub crawl. Horrible horrible treatment. I was inside the club and he threw me out.

Wow…..now as a local I typically don’t eat dinner in grand cafes and usually with good reason. Boy, was I wrong about the Kroon. Gone are the standard burgers, sate with chips and small steaks. I tried their 500g flank steak and it was incredible especially, at that price. I was looking for a good replacement now that Gaucho is gone well this is it. Best steak in a long time, well done.

Mijn vriend en ik zijn hier 2 dagen oprij naartoe geweest. Het eten is hier erg gevarieerd, je kunt kiezen tussen een simpele burger maar ook een fatsoenlijke steak! Waar we eerst bij de onderburen niet vriendelijk benaderd werden ( Van Rijn) zijn we in tegendeel hier erg gastvrij ontvangen. Het personeel is ook erg toegankelijk en vriendelijk. ( vooral Shirley). We hebben de eerste avond genoten van een flatsteak, dit was echt heel erg lekker. De 2e avond hebben we genoten van een bbq burger en een Griekse kip spies met rijst, ook hierover zijn we erg tevreden. De kip was erg mals. Verder is het restaurant erg mooi! ( iets wat je helaas niet aan de ingang kan zien, dus neem daarom vooral een kijkje boven.)

Amazing staff with eye for detail. They pay real attention to their guests and their needs. The food was fine but not overwhelming. Shirley definitely made our evening with the personal care she provided.

We came for New Year's Eve with the meal. Good meal for the price, friendly service. Not many people at the beginning but then the atmosphere was great with a good DJ. BIG disappointment with regard to a service: the toilets! To charge 0.50€ to go there, really? When we've been there since 7 pm, we've paid for a meal, drinks? With two not very friendly women who stand guard in front of each door (men / women) like bodyguards, really? I thought it was a joke at first but seeing how the toilet guard answered me I understood that it wasn't. So we stopped drinking.

Worst end to new years night all because of this ‘club’. Won’t let you in unless you put your coat in tiny lockers that wouldn’t even work when trying to scan QR code, ask for help to see why lockers aren’t working and security just look at you and shrug their shoulders. Finally go upstairs to just use the bathroom and they charge you to use the toilet… after paying to get into a club. 50c charge but won’t take card payment so bad luck if you’re busting for the toilet you won’t be going in this horrible place. Maybe stick to what you’re good at being a restaurant and leave the ‘club’ idea. Worst end to new years. Also lost my hat because of this ridiculous locker situation. Cheers guys.

Beautiful location, overlooking Rembrandtplein from the second floor. The staff was attentive and friendly, the menu offers a wide choice and we had a delicious meal.

För en företagsmiddag så var plats bokad på denna restaurang för att kunna hantera alla inbjudna. Välkomstdrink som serverades på balkongen med utsikt över torget framför var trevligt med en mysig atmosfär. Maten serverades fint upplagt och med bra temperatur så här fanns inget att anmärka på. Kantarellsoppan var mycket god medan pärlhönan var sådär, alltså god men inte så mycket eller mättande. Desserten var också denna smakrik och snyggt presenterad. Trevlig personal och mysiga lokaler adderar också vilket ger ett bra betyg.

We had a wonderful evening in the bar. I‘ve never had such an attentive waitress as Sherley in my life and the ambience was exclusive.

Been to 30 countries in my life and this is one of the worst “clubs” I’ve ever been too. Amsterdam you disappoint.

Appetizer good, half of main course left uneaten. The terrace at the top was nice.

We went for drinks and salsa night (Sundays and Wednesdays from 9pm) and it was so much fun! It wasn't too crowded so there was room to dance, and the vibes were super friendly. Mostly salsa songs but we also danced to some bachata!

Was here on Thursday July 25th with my son for some drinks on my BIRTHDAY. Beautiful view over Rembrandsplein, nice atmosphere with paintings with colored stuffed butterflies. Super nice staff, gave me bitterballen as a gift for my birthday and the drinks, I had delicious rum and cola, beautifully decorated with flowers, recommended to come here ENJOY!!!

This place forces you to pay for the bathrooms which should definitely be illegal and the horrible disgusting old lady who stands in your way. Horrible experience

We came as a family to watch the France/Netherlands match. Before the match we had dinner: very good dishes, great service: warm and smiling, it's pleasant. Incredible cocktails served by top bartenders! Then, match in front of a big screen in comfortable armchairs with desserts and a beer. Great atmosphere during the match and then the room quickly filled up for a second part of the evening.. The room is very beautiful, incredible view of Rembrandtplein...To do absolutely!

The chef was very kind and our waiter Yassin he was really attentive, he made the evening feel special, and he did his best to assure that we had a good time, so ask for Yassin. They had a security guard in the evening and he was one of the worst people i have met, he is rude and he put his hands on me and we had an argument with him for putting his hands on me in a threatening way but one of the managers apologized, so it was fine eventually but i think that security guy needs to be fired !!

Magnifique soirée, nous y avons très bien mangé, puis la salle se transforme en piste de danse, avec un excellent DJ. Ambiance festive et décontractée. Service excellent en particulier Camille qui est au souriante, serviable et efficace 😃

I was already there a few times ago and impressed by the location. This time we wanted to celebrate a birthday during our Holland vacation. So I wrote to the club by email. The communication was just great and after a few emails and phone calls we got a reservation and a great table. The club manager and all her colleagues were so super friendly and especially human with heart. When we arrived, we were so warmly welcomed. It was a super great surprise with a small table fireworks for midnight :) The kitchen conjured up a big great dessert plate for us and it was then brought with a really great little table fireworks. So thank you very much again at this point 🙂 If you are looking for a great restaurant, café and club in one, you have come to the right place. Drinks, music, ambience and the people fit together so well here and we felt super comfortable. We will definitely come back and look forward to seeing you. Free salsa dancing on wednesdays and sunday evenings! Although, the place gets very full and it's hard to dance like that.

We had a private party here for a friend's birthday, security staff were overly aggressive, pushing us out the door when we were trying to put our coats on in calm manor when it was time for us to leave. He was also shouting, swearing. It's not what you expect when our group were all completely nice people and leaving at the correct time, just did not want to be pushed out the door whilst I'm trying to put my coat on. On the other hand the bar staff were completely nice. Just avoid it.

Very nice place but 1 star because they freaking charge you to use the restrooms. We visited a few nightclubs in New Year’s Eve and this is the only place that you need to pay for this. How retarded is this? You pay for drinks and then pay to pee? lol

The concept of 'hospitality' was not invented here. What an unfriendly atmosphere, from manager to employee to security. I won't be coming back here again.

We dachten eens beetje sjiek te eten , bij binnenkomst werd gelijk gezegd dat er maar 2 man personeel was dus dat we lang op ons eten moesten wachten ( er zat een handjevol mensen ) we bestelde flesje wijn en bij het voorproeven vroeg de ober of het “ te hachelen “ was ? Kaarsjes stonden niet aan en bij het voorgerecht kregen we taai oud brood , mijn hoofd gerecht was Griekse kipspies met tatziki maar de tatziki was stroganoff saus , patat besteld maar niet geserveerd, pas na vragen kregen we patat wat de ober netjes van de zaak gaf ! Maar al met al viel het enorm tegen en niet alleen bij ons , 2 koppels achter ons liepen ook te mopperen ! Zonde want het is een prachtige tent met mooi uitzicht maar daar blijft het ook bij ! Geen aanrader !

Coats needs taking off and locked in, you have to pay €2 for it. And you have to pay to use the toilet €0.50 which I don’t know if it’s per visit as we don’t use it. Rubbish dance floor and expensive drinks. Don’t waste your money. The Old bell pub is much better!

Gisteren hier wat gedronken. Er was een salsa avond waardoor wij drankjes alleen aan de bar konden bestellen, werd ons verteld. Echter toen wij er al zaten, zagen we een medewerker met een dienblad met drankjes gewoon serveren aan hun gasten.. Apart dat wij onze drankjes zelf moesten halen 🤨

Für den Magen gab es nicht eine zu grosse Auswahl, die Gerichte die es gab waren jedoch sehr gut, erinnert mehr an eine Bar. Service war gut. Das beste war die location mit dem Wintergarten in dem man den ganzen Platz überblickt. Es war auch ein Dj vor ort der noch was zum Ambiente beitrug. Alles in allem sehr hochwertig und luxuriös.

A spectacular coffee shop by every metric, only could use some more food (though the smoke-rich atmosphere obviously makes that a problem) but other then that, it simply doesnt get better in all of Amsterdam

Afgelopen zaterdagavond gereserveerd voor om te gaan eten. Warme welkom door de club manager Mehdi. Hele goeie service gehad. De muziek was goed. De serveerders en de toilet dame waren allemaal top! Zeker een aanrader voor een volgend bezoek!

I don’t want to say they had the dumbest bartender, because that would be rude…and an understatement. How can you bartend in an establishment like this and not know what liquors (gin) you have, forget a drink order of two drinks (three times), and not know how to add €12 and €3 together (by the way, the answer is not €16…but you’re very close. Keep trying.) Won’t be coming here on my next trip to Amsterdam, that’s for sure.

De kroon is prachtig aangekleed en ligt direct aan het Rembrandtplein. De sfeer is super en het eten is lekker. We hadden alleen een ober die nog lerende was, wat resulteerde in een dienblad vol drinken over de vloer, 6x verschillende aanvullende vragen over hoe en wat we met het eten wilde om uiteindelijk alsnog het verkeerde te krijgen 😂 We hebben er smakelijk om gelachen want de rest was verder prima en iedereen moet het leren, toch

I recently visited a restaurant with my family, we celebrate a birthday and I must say, it was an amazing experience. The food was delicious and the staff was exceptional. On 26.05 ended up there accidentally and was not left disappointed. The place is cool apart from staff asking you to leave to your jacket in the small lockers for €2. The decor and the vibe of the place is nice. Drinks are at a very reasonable price. The reason there’s 3 stars is because 1: the dj was TERRIBLE. The songs were ok but how can you play an Enrique iglesias and next tune as a hard techno song? Also remixes of most of the songs were so hardcore. 2: the bathroom is 50 cents. That’s a bit embarrassing for a place like this 3: the Victoria secret show on repeat on the screen…. That’s just weird

Cena de grupo empresa. Buen ambiente. Local situado en la primera planta, espacioso. Situado en plaza Rembrandt, ambiente estupendo. Buena atención de los camareros. Musica con DJ después de la cena con barra libre.

Finn the manager was brilliant and attentive. He always ensured we had drinks and was conservational about our holiday, despite it being a busy Saturday. Overall a brilliant experience. We would recommend visiting here on a weekend.
