Café Romano in Wijk 17 Makkum

Very bad, waited more than an hour for food and staff not very polite, the food wasn't too bad

La Picola: Delicious pizzas from 5 p.m., but you'll need a bit of patience. Recommendation: Pizza Vulcano. Café Romana is the same but open from 12 p.m.

Man kann schön draußen sitzen. Nette Bedienung und leckere Pizzen und Pasta zu vernünftigen Preisen! Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht! Zu empfehlen!

Cozy cafe with very friendly service and super tasty pizzas for a nice price. Partly due to the friendliness of the other (regular) guests a few pleasant hours there.

We waited over 45 minutes for the “food”. The majority of it was either wrong, not ordered at all, black or missing! Service was very bad. The bill also took forever and we had to ask twice. Were there on 5/20/24. When we arrived, little crowd. But many waited a similar amount of time and sometimes couldn't eat together because the food came 10-15 minutes apart.

Enjoyed some drinks on the terrace. The ordered appetizers were quickly delivered to the table. Good hot and top range of snacks. Super friendly and smooth service. Price was absolutely right. This makes you happy.

In de middag een paar drankjes gedaan op het fijne en zonnige terras. Erg vriendelijk en snel geholpen. We zijn voor een bittergarnituur gegaan en deze was snel op tafel met een super assortiment hapjes. De prijs was helemaal top. Daar kan menig café met terras nog iets van leren.

Not really great. Had to wait a long time for the food and then two black pizzas arrived with little taste. Spinach on the pizza comes straight from the freezer.

More than excellent price/quality ratio. Tasty food, nice terrace, friendly staff! Update; Back to this nice place after 2 years. It is never easy to match a very good memory that was worth 5 stars at the time, but here we succeeded! I can literally repeat the above from 2 years ago. When I'm in the area again I will definitely come again. The only downside: there is little parking in the immediate vicinity

Finally a place where everything has a normal price, a croquette sandwich for 3.50 in a normal restaurant costs me 15 euros and it is just as tasty

Touring the IJsselmeer also requires a moment of relaxation. Delicious apple pie and cappuccino. Also top service. Also took pictures for us. Recommended in Makkum can be found next to the bicycle specialist Rinia and the hair salon.

Took a seat on the terrace of Pizzeria Romano. Nothing wrong with that. We wanted an anti pasta as a snack. The waitress' eyes widened: “Anti-pasta” what is that? Explained a bit, but they couldn't do that, but they did provide a bowl of olives and warmed garlic bread. I.v.m. A long journey and take this. We ordered pasta as a starter and we had to wait 1.5 hours for it and it was on the cold side and unpalatable. I.v.m. I ate my appetite anyway and then went to the cafeteria across the street. The answer was that they were very busy. We think busy with the regulars. Not expensive, but we won't be going there again. Sorry……

Gezellige plek en overheerlijke pizzas

Zeer gezellige sfeervolle kroeg.

Super leuke en gezellige kroeg. Mooi feestje gehad op vrijdagavond.. Leuk personeel goede sfeer.. En je kunt er ook overheerlijke pizza's eten. Echt een aanrader dit eet en feest cafe.. Only Happy People 😀

Lekker op het terras gezeten en een drankje gedronken. Attent personeel!

Optisch eher wie eine Hafenkneipe eingerichtet, als wie ein Pizza Restaurant. Gute Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken. Es hat etwas gedauert bis Getränke und Essen kamen. Die Pizzen waren recht groß und gut belegt. Geschmacklich war zu mindestens meine Pizza mit Schinken und Spargel langweilig. Weder Oregano noch andere Pizzagewürze waren merkbar.

Super gezellige tent echt een aanrader

Redelijk geluncht. Broodje kroket had wel iets meer aangekleed mogen worden voor het geld.

Druk restaurant waar je wel ff moet wachten.

Duurde lang voordat we opgemerkt werden als klant, verder vriendelijk bedient. Terrassen in Makkum ogen over algemeen wat rommelig.

Heerlijke kids gegeten. Gezellig restaurantje met eigenaar die wel van een grapje houd. Was gezellig.

Super locatie vooral voor een natje en een droogje

Leuke plek aardige bediening maar bah...Wat zijn de menukaartjes en de houdertjes daarvan vies. De tafels plakken. En er mag nodig eens een bezem over het terras.
