Café Suikerland in Malburgen-Oost (Zuid)

Nice spot on the Rijnkade, definitely recommended. However, there was a shortage of staff, so the kitchen didn't open until 7:00 PM.

Watched Mighty Mike while playing darts, it was fun.

Wow, what a great place! Drinks are delicious. Friendly staff. Sometimes they even have a small pool with a stand-up paddleboard in it. It's also great that they've made the ground sand; it feels like you're sitting on the beach, even with the chairs—they're real beach chairs. You also have a beautiful view of the Rhine, so you can see all the boats sailing by. The prices are good. I'll definitely be back! 😎☀️🫶

A really bad place. We politely asked if we could watch the cup final outside; this was refused, we were told we had to go inside. It was being shown on the smallest TV inside. The TV outside was on, which nobody seemed to care about. It was a shame; we somehow got the feeling that we were unwelcome as Germans.

How cozy and old-fashioned can things get? Unfortunately, it seems to be closing 🙁 People, save the traditional pub!!!
