Café 't Fort in Elst-Zuid

After a long day at work I decided to do some quick shopping at Aldi in Elst. When I got back to my car, the battery was dead. Despite spending over an hour in the parking lot trying to find someone with jumper cables, I was unable to do so. I was stuck waiting for help from my father. To my great surprise, a few people from Café Fort came out and saw that I was in trouble. Without any hesitation they offered their help, brought jumper cables, and within a few minutes my car was up and running again. Thanks to their kindness and willingness to help, I was able to drive home safely. Although I haven't been inside yet, I plan to go back to Café Fort soon. Not only to thank them personally, but also to enjoy their hospitality. This is a place where the community comes together, and where people are ready to help when needed. I am extremely grateful for their help!

A lovely traditional pub, a sweet couple behind the bar, and friendly locals. Highly recommended.
