Arrived here after a light rain shower. A warm welcome and enjoyed sitting on the terrace. Friendly service and a nice spot (for people-watching 😉 and recovering from our shop till we drop).

What a strange policy that you aren't allowed to sit on the terrace with a group of 9 people! I can understand it if you are drunk or rowdy. But last night we were with a small group who were just quiet and wanted to have a nice drink. Unfortunately, that is not allowed, and I wonder why not?

Nice pub, until the staff got involved. We were sitting comfortably with a group, but at one point we were told that we were too loud. In a pub, that is a rather remarkable complaint. The way this was delivered was anything but hospitable, and we clearly got the feeling that they would rather be rid of us. If you don't want to host larger groups, just communicate that in advance. This experience partly ruined the evening.

We were turned away because it was supposedly closed (half the terrace was full). An hour later, there were people sitting there just fine. That's all fine if you don't want us as a group. But have the guts, to be honest.

The website says it's open until 2:00, but at 12:30 the bartender announces the last round, and then at 12:35 he asks you to leave the bar because he wants to clean it. Another "satisfied" customer leaves the building.

It suddenly started to rain heavily. We sat under the awning, which was lovely outside. They served good beer...well, they have a lot of them, but I had a draft beer from the Netherlands. Friendly service and a nice atmosphere.

It's better to choose a restaurant further away; you'll get help there! We waited 20 minutes for someone to come, but unfortunately, they didn't... Customers who sat next to us were helped almost immediately. This was the reason we left.

We stopped at this place a while ago the very evening 🌃 of our arrival in the city. Arriving around 10:30 PM 🕥, we sat down at one of the few free tables outside; shortly thereafter, a waiter 🧑🏻 came to take our order. We opted for a toasted sandwich 🥪 (although I don't remember the ingredients) and a double portion of meatballs with barbecue sauce and onion flakes 🧅. To drink, a few bottles of Coca-Cola. Everything was definitely good 😋, especially the meatballs. The prices seemed fair to me. The location is absolutely strategic, given that the establishment directly overlooks the beautiful square in front. The staff were friendly. I RECOMMEND IT 👍. Cozy café in Utrecht, nice long bar with friendly staff. We had a wonderful evening!

We had a nice drink and the staff were very helpful! There was plenty of seating and a good selection of drinks and food. We kept it simple with bitterballen, which were delicious. Definitely worth a visit. The station is within walking distance, so it's easily accessible by public transport! It's also easy to reach by bike, and the bike parking is right next door, which is great. See you next time!

We ate breakfast/brunch here two days. Good value for money. Delicious omelettes and tosti/sandwich. The freshly squeezed orange juice was very nice. Very pleasant service.

The weather was nice, so I had breakfast here. The food was good. I had the Good Morning toastie and fresh mint tea. The service was good as well. It took a little longer than expected, as it was still quite early and the kitchen was just getting started. However, this was communicated clearly. On top of that, you have a beautiful view over the Neude and the library. All in all, definitely recommended!

Celebrated my 30th birthday in the small room at the back of the business. Top choice! Very cozy space and not too big, which makes it pleasantly busy with 20 people. The staff thought along well and it was nice that we had an influence on the music ourselves. Highly recommended for a party!

Cozy place for a private party! The staff was very cooperative and I was able to indicate what kind of music we wanted to hear. It's a pity that there are no appetizers, which I always think fits well in a café like this.

We recently celebrated the birthday of someone from our circle of friends here. Cozy café, obviously very busy because it is located in the center of Utrecht. However, the bar staff do their utmost and pay attention to the guests. Good atmosphere. We didn't eat anything here, so I can't comment on the food.

We were served by a very nice young man (Tim) but the pitcher is absurdly expensive. We paid 22 euros for a 1L pitcher where you pay 12.8 euros for the same volume separately in vases. Scam!!!

Utrecht estaba muy ocupado y encontró este lugar porque había una mesa, tan contento de que lo hicimos. Gran elección de cervezas y buena comida. Bien colocado. El personal en los 3 días que visitamos fue muy agradable. Para los menos ágiles los baños están en la planta baja. Nos gustó mucho.

Possibly the worst place I ever been. I asked 4 people if they are still serving and none of them responded. They didn’t even looked at me. Very unfriendly service. Wouldn’t suggest to anyone visit this place.

In the summer I ride my bike throughout the Netherlands, so I visit many places where I can stop to enjoy a snack and a drink. I noticed that you could sit here in the sun so nicely, so I took a seat here for brunch on Sunday morning, although there was hardly anyone there, the service was a little slower than usual, but the food and drinks were really great. !.

Yesterday we had a delicious breakfast at 't Neutje. The service was top notch and the food was very tasty. We had a nice seat. So we went again today with the same expectations. Unfortunately the service was poor and the quality of the food could not match yesterday's. We told this to the staff. The answer was that we had to post a bad review on the internet. And after paying, the bartender said, "Well, see you never again." We thought it was a strange reaction. Conclusion; cafe is highly recommended, just not on Sunday morning.

A second home. There is no café where I feel as welcome as 't Neutje. Good staff, lots of nice beers, and an authentic interior. A brown café like you rarely see.

It's been a crazy, dark hole for years where I've had quite a few beers. La Chouffe on tap, back in the day, I believe. This time a Fat Jan. Just have a nice end in the city. Highly recommended for a nice beer.

Leuk personeel en leuk café op Neude. We werden goed geholpen door goed personeel. Een erg relaxte en informele sfeer. Leuke aanrader voor borrels, drankjes of hapjes. Locatie is goed gelegen voor iedereen die bijvoorbeeld met de trein komt. Ik kom hier zeker terug!

Great location in the square. Although in a busy location the outdoor tables have decent space between them. Good inside area also. Staff are friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Food is fantastic, also decent sized portions for really good prices.
