Café 't Wiel in Wijk 00 Maasbracht

Just a regular terrace for a drink. Beautiful location next to the Meuse River. A ferry for cyclists and walkers is right outside. On the other side of the Meuse River, you can take a walk on the former estate, and be sure to stop by the ice cream parlor at the end of the walking/cycling path.

Nice place by the water, good food but a man in the service who thinks he is very funny (not) and therefore makes himself very present.

A lovely spot by the harbor with two terraces, a great atmosphere, good food, and friendly staff. Wiesje, in particular, is very customer-friendly, direct and responsive, ensuring there are no surprises, and she's a great resource. It's worth mentioning. All in all, a lovely cafe by the harbor in Maasbracht. And delicious iced coffee!

Stopped here on our bike ride along the Meuse River. Lovely outdoor terrace, attentive and friendly service. The salad and tarte flambée were delicious, and the price was reasonable. We'd be happy to come back.

This old skippers café on the Maas has moved with the times without losing its old charm. Outside you can sit here beautifully and enjoy the sun.

It started well! First we were told that we had to order clearly because otherwise the waiter could not remember it😂 After a long wait, half the order arrived and when we asked 20 minutes later we were told that it was busy and that they were doing their best. We canceled the rest and asked for the bill, we didn't feel like waiting any longer, So 3 out of 6 people have received their food and already finished it. But the bill was also incorrect, fortunately in our favor 3 x latte-macchiato and a tea. So we won't come here anymore🫤

They enter the cafe and are looked at by everyone. The owner of the café comes and I ask: “A beer for me.” She answers with “what kind?” I respond with “what do you have?” She blurts out and asks if I went to school. Very unfriendly. Bad atmosphere. Never go there again, I feel very confronted.

The service was slow, even though it was not full and there were 4 people serving. The gentleman who came to take the order spoke only poor English and it seemed that the staff did not know each other what they were doing. Tasks were not divided. Had to wait quite a long time and the order was not entirely correct.

That was a delicious homemade meatball sandwich. Top!

Terribly rude blonde woman who works there, standing in the middle of the street, swearing at her staff. pulls glasses from the hands of the poor man who is trying his best, he didn't speak Dutch himself and seemed to feel very uncomfortable. You're doing great Eddie!❤️

It was incredibly disrespectful how the manager, a blonde woman wearing a blue blouse, treated her staff. Eddie, who does not speak Dutch well, was verbally abused by her on a terrace full of guests. Then she ripped glasses from his hands and slammed them hard on the tray. After seeing this we decided to eat somewhere else.

Since the Gubbels family stopped running the restaurant, it's no longer nice. The atmosphere has changed, the warmth and soul of Ellie is missing. Very unfortunate.

The rude employee has not been there for a while. It may be that he uses something that is not good for his social skills, but he works normally in Amsterdam, so it is not noticeable there.

Treated extremely rudely by a man shouting loudly. Asked politely for a bill but received a very rude answer. People around us confirmed his rude attitude but he did nothing about it. I politely told him that he was extremely unsuitable for his job, but he disagreed. I've never experienced this, anywhere.

Paid for a coke and spa red for which he charged 6 euros while it was 5.50. He responded that we Not being nice What a jerk and arrogant employee. Very unfriendly woman at the counter. Horrible. We ordered drinks, paid immediately and sat with the neighbors two doors away.

Wat het terras betreft... fijn uitzicht op de haven. Voldoende ruimte en prima bediening. Voor een tussenstop prima plek.

Leuk gelegen en vroeg open, maar service is traag en slecht. Koffie zowel thee kwamen na ruim 10 min. pas en met een dik "voetenbad". Ivm medicatie werd er water naast gevraagd (dat mocht) Eerst alsnog vergeten en toen het kwam kreeg je een espresso hoeveelheid kokend water 🥴😣 Koffie is soort van zuur (niet bedoeld als het normale bittere bij koffie) Geen aanrader! Als je letterlijk 50 meter verder fietst is ook een tweede cafe open. Die gaan we een volgende keer proberen

Vriendelijke bediening, de bestelde tosti stond binnen enkele minuten op tafel en smaakte prima. Top!

Heerlijke lunch gehad. Vooral de saté was echt top. Het terras zat helemaal vol en nog een hele snelle en goede bediening. Heel vriendelijke medewerkers die weten wat aanpakken is. Een echte aanrader

Deze week wezen lunchen top locatie met een kleine kaart, maar kwalitatief echt goed, hier komen wij zeker terug prijs kwaliteit verhouding 👌

Dit café is pas overgenomen door een nieuwe eigenaar. Er is niks veranderd aan de inboedel. Op het terras loopt leuk personeel. Super aardige bediening. Het is een mooi plekje aan de maas. Parkeergelegenheid aan de overkant. Wij hebben genoten en we komen zeker nog eens terug

Vriendelijk personeel. We hadden ons een kleine kop soep besteld. Allebei de soepen waren heerlijk daar werd vers brood bij geserveerd. Echt een aanrader alles zelf gemaakt. Super.

Als je heerlijk wil lunchen, ga dan vooral naar Café 't Wiel in Maasbracht. Lekker ruim terras, aan de haven, fijn personeel, supervriendelijk.

De gerechten zijn echt top. De soepen zijn vers gemaakt en smaken geweldig. Absoluut geen standaard gerechten. Complimenten aan de keuken. Een aanrader.

Gezellig cafe met uitzicht over de haven. We hebben hier heerlijk gelunched: verse dagsoep en heerlijke sate . Gewoon genieten !! Prijs/ kwaliteit top. De bediening is vriendelijk en vlot. Kortom een aanrader voor een lekkere lunch en een drankje.
