Know what to expect. Fons' is a local place where local people have a beer, where the local clubs ( carnival club, town militia etc.) have a home. Where the people speak your tongue ( Limburgian) and know your face. So as a stranger, is it really a place to go? Probably not... For someone who is from Brunssum and loves and knows it? The place to be! Not to say strangers are not welcome, just make sure you're prepared for a tight knit bunch you're talking to :-)
