Cafetaria De Zeeheld in Oud-Zuid

Nice old-fashioned cafeteria with reasonable prices. It's a comfortable place to sit and it was busy. A good sign. We were going from the city center to the City Park for a concert. Good place to grab a quick bite.

Very sweet people. The fry portions are very big and cheap.

I come here often. The guys behind the counter are top-notch. They know how to prepare it. Nice and quick, nice and tasty. I come here more often! If you are looking for a cafeteria, go here. I got a special frikandel, and when I got home, there was no mayonnaise on it. Luckily, I still had some... I tried calling, but it was impossible, so much noise on the line...

It's a shame I only went in here for the first time after living here for over 10 years. It's a neat, spacious place. Clear displays with menu options and prices. I found the wait time very reasonable. And, most importantly, the quality of the snacks was excellent. Hot enough, or at least, they steamed when I took them out of the packaging at home. They'll be seeing more of me at Zeeheld!

We set off on a weekend expedition from Utrecht to Groningen with one clear mission: to eat eierballen (egg balls). And let me be honest, that mission was truly accomplished at Cafetaria de Zeeheld. This eierbal? It's a true work of art. The egg was perfectly balanced: not too dry, not too wet, but wonderfully creamy. The flavor was so good you almost forgot to breathe, and that crispy coating… perfect! After this experience, we can confidently say: these are by far the tastiest eierballen Groningen has to offer. We will definitely be back, even if it's a detour from Utrecht, because some things are simply worth it. And to the owner: thank you for this culinary experience. This wasn't a snack, this was an experience.

Went out for a weekend in Groningen with a friend. The next day we had a serious hangover, but a visit to Cafetaria de Zeeheld made our day. I'll definitely be back for the delicious eierballen! Nice and creamy with mayo! I want to thank the owners!

Gebeld. Met 10 minuten klaar, precies op de minuut nauwkeurig! Broodje kipburgers speciaal is een aanrader. Tomaatje, sla, komkommer, uitjes en een perfecte hoeveelheid saus er tussen, klasse.

Goed eten, naar mijn mening wel iets te weinig saus.

Saté menu is van een goede kwaliteit!

Lekker en goed gebakken snacks. Ook de patat was prima in orde. Kwantiteit van de saus was aan de lage kant, de kwaliteit was ruim voldoende. Wij misten de mini loempia’s die je zou moeten krijgen bij een bestelling boven de 15 euro.

Heel aardige mensen die mij snel van een appelflauwte afhielpen. Ouderwets frietje met mayo. Heerlijk
