You always get large portions of fries, and they have lots of gluten-free snacks. Great!

I used to be raving, but not this time. Portions were always generous. But this time, on the menu, fries and satay. The fries were nowhere to be found, and the satay was hard and dry. Fries from the old village. My son joined us a little later, opened the package and said, "Where are the fries?" The fries were also limp. Warm cucumber slices were included for free, yuck. All in all, bad, we won't be back.

What a worthless snack bar raspat was limp and not cooked, regular fries fried too lightly, the nasi slice was fried way too short, xxl fricandel was cold just not edible. Waste of money

Today September 14, 2024 we went to eat and drink with 10 people. Food was tasty. Service good, the glasses have not been empty😂👍👍 24-10-2024 Just had a ball with something from the house. 😕 was a lot less, a pity was always full of praise for Marcel's home-made meatballs. But this time *NO* not tasty, I think it was in the microwave for far too long and the top side was much too hearty and dry. No, it won't happen again for more than €5, next time, a waste of money.👎🏻 27-10-2024 I was just talking to friends about my bad behavior ('t Ouwe Dorp). Which prompted the question: Was Marcel himself in the kitchen? No, well then you have your answer right. So then I can only say Marcel, guy, do something with that.

Oh, oh, oh, you have so many pathetic whiners who post something when things go wrong. They cannot communicate normally. In the past you just went there, face to face, nowadays they criticize you in the media. Cool dude... Karma follows... It's easy to talk to the owner. I have had good experiences with this café/eatery. POINT!

When we arrived we were already stuck to the floor, the mushroom sauce for which you have to pay 2.95 extra is far too little, the regular fries were inedible, the mussels had so much crispy coating on them that you could no longer taste the mussel, in short, certainly not worth repeating, a restaurant without atmosphere and they have never heard of cleaning... A WASTE OF YOUR MONEY

DO NOT GO HERE Last week I ordered fries with special frikandel sandwiches. The fries were limp and soft and the sandwiches with way too much sauce. Not tasty. Went again today. I had left the fries with old fat, which was too cold and was really dirty. And the cheese soufflé wasn't baked properly either. If you call to say something about it, you get a big mouth. Went back to get my money back. They try to give you too little in return. The owner doesn't care at all.

The service here is always polite and the food is fantastic.

Delicious food in the attractive restaurant at the back of the snack bar. Had a fantastic, tasty satay (from the hare), which was deliciously cooked! My daughter had the Black Angus Cheeseburger and was very satisfied with it! Great service from the ladies, really friendly. Even the owner of the stationery store in the same street indicated that this was the best snack bar in Waddinxveen. Not a word of exaggeration. My compliments! I will definitely come here more often in the future!

Delicious old-fashioned snack bar with a cozy restaurant area. The famous Ball in Gravy has unfortunately changed and is no longer as tasty?? It has become expensive: more than €55 for the two of us (with a beer and a glass of wine) but yes, everything has become expensive!

The service was very fast and friendly, the fries were delicious, the milkshake was also very tasty, only the bambi disc was a bit too greasy, but well seasoned.

Compared to a few years ago, they have deteriorated considerably. Dry hare satay, fries are disappointing, long wait (while there are plenty of staff), hygiene is laughable. Placing raw satay where someone else puts something else on it. The place itself is going to look very dingy. No, the last time for us.

I have been eating here regularly with friends for years, unfortunately the quality has been so poor in the past 3 times that we have moved to another snack bar. Too bad because there is always a pleasant atmosphere.

Opzich prima. Snacks worden alleen te heet of te lang gebakken.

Eten online via de website besteld. Weer niet de volledige bestelling gehad. En dan moet je ze eens proberen te bereiken om te zeggen dat de bestelling niet compleet geleverd is. NA 33x bellen nog steeds niemand gesproken. Ze leggen de hoorn van de telefoon omdat het druk is en je blijft dus met een onvolledige bestelling zitten. Maar je heb er wel voor betaald.

Gauw een snelle hap halen. Goede bediening en snelle service. Bij goed weer kan je gezellig buiten zitten. Binnen zijn er ook veel tafeltjes en zitplaatsen. Afhalen is heel goed mogelijk en wordt veel gedaan. Er zijn niet veel parkeerplekken voor de deur, dus is het vol dan moet je ff een eindje terug lopen.

Fijne cafetaria op de dorpstraat in Waddinxveen. Ga er eens kijken zou ik zeggen voor een lekker patatje of menu.

Wij komen niet uit de buurt maar dachten laten we lekker makkelijk een patatje eten. Het zat hier bijna helemaal vol en dat snappen wij wel met zulke lieve meiden in de bediening en een uitgebreide kaart. We voelden ons dan ook bijna bezwaard dat we alleen een patatje wilden eten. Naar onze mening is daar ook eigenlijk niet de plek voor, meer voor afhalen of gezellig tafelen, waar ook de menukaart op ingericht is. Gezellige plek maar ook iets te prijzig voor even snel een patatje :)

Wij wilden in het achterste gedeelte gezellig samen gaan eten. Het bord voor de ingang deed vermoeden dat dit kon en dat we alleen hoefde te wachten op iemand die kwam om te helpen. Vanachter de toonbank werd geroepen dat het achterste gedeelte gesloten was. Prima, geen probleem uiteraard. Daarna stonden we te twijfelen of we wel of niet iets te eten zouden meenemen. Het personeel heeft niets gedaan om ons welkom te laten voelen en om te proberen ons binnen te houden en toch wat te bestellen. We werden genegeerd en niet eens gevraagd of we iets wilde bestellen. Nu is een snackbar uiteraard geen restaurant, maar klanten fatsoenlijk bejegenen lijkt me toch ook in een snackbar haalbaar. Jammer… maar we zullen niet snel terug komen. Dan liever maar een snackbar waar ze wel graag willen dat je wat besteld.

Na lang twijfelen over deze zaak toch voor het eerst een bestelling gedaan. Ik twijfelde vooral gezien de kosten (minimaal 15 euro plus bezorgkosten voor nog geen 3 km is in je eentje voor een patatje toch best prijzig) toch besloten om te bestellen. Want...super veel zin in raspatat en dat heeft niet elke patatzaak! Keurig op tijd volgens het tijdsblok wat ik online gekozen had. Prima burger ook. Maar die raspatat....nope nooit meer. Slappe hap, taai, oud vet, kartonsmaak. Het smaakte naar alles behalve naar ras.... Helaas pindakaas en zonde van t geld.

Elke vrijdag haal ik hier patat voor de hele zaak. Goeie kwaliteit en vriendelijk personeel. Zeker een aanrader!

Hadden gewone en raspatat gehaald. De gewone patat was goed warm, de raspatat bijna afgekoeld. Helaas....

Prima tent. Onbeperkt patat bij de gerechten! Alleen de saus wel appart afrekenen ;)

Wat een gezellige plaats om te eten. Nog een restaurantje uit de oude doos. Maar wel kwaliteit voor je geld. En op woensdag steak dag.

Duurder (logisch in deze tijd) maar ook veel minder?! en de saus was ver te zoeken. Alles wat we niet gewend zijn van 't ouwe dorp. Jammer, voor ons voorlopig nietmeer. Kwaliteit nietmeer hetzelfde als voorheen.

Super lekker een 3 dubbele hamburger menu gegeten. Perfect!

Regelmatig hier besteld. Vaak wordt er iets vergeten bij de bestelling. Dit willen ze graag na bezorgen wat uiteraard netjes is maar vaak is je eten al op of koud. Online bestellen met een tijd is handig maar vaak staat het eten er al en als je thuis komt is het broodje frikadel al aardig afgekoeld, dat is jammer. Tipje van Lies check de bestelling;-)

Bestelling gevraagd om 5 uur en 5 minuten voor de tijd keurig afgeleverd. Prima kwaliteit. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

Alles was eigenlijk 5 sterren waard maar omdat er een vreselijk radiozender met veel geschreeuwd en muziek opstond geef ik maar 3 sterren en kom daarom niet snel terug

Mei 2022 Afgelopen tijd laten bezorgen maar vorige week was dan ook echt de laatste keer. Alles lag door elkaar. Frikandel speciaal zat meer tegen de verpakking aan dan in het bakje.

Bestelling geplaatst, bestelling geleverd maar er miste één product. Gebeld niet opgenomen, sluit om 20:00u de bestelling werd even voor 20:00u geleverd. Gemailt, géén antwoord in de afgelopen 9 maanden is dit al de vierde keer dat er wat fout gaat. Waarschijnlijk de laatste keer aangezien wij niets meer gaan bestellen of kopen. Ik heb mijn review aangepast omdat de eigenaar mijn klacht serieus heeft genomen en met een oplossing is gekomen.

Lovely place to eat, they have a great couple option. Which is a big pan in the centre of the table, filled with ribs beef Fries etc. It's amazing! They also serve their own branded foods, like patat ouwe dorp and patatjuh dorpstraatjuh. Both are excellent and unlike any other. Excellent and kind service
