Cafetaria Happy Days in Wijk 01 Kerkrade-Oost

Delicious, it is really recommended.

For me, this is the most hospitable chip shop in Kerkrade. And the food is simply good, with a wide selection, and it's right in the heart of Kerkrade.

No Happy Days to be seen here, not HAPPY! We called their own number first, but they referred us to Thuisbezorgd because otherwise it's difficult for them to understand. Well, even on the Thuisbezorgd website, it's apparently impossible to understand Happy Days! The delivery driver arrived at the door: a vegetable croquette, which wasn't, so the same... hmm, strange, let's see what we got. Aha, another goulash croquette. They thought a croquette is a croquette, but it's not okay to replace a vegetarian option with meat on their own initiative. The strangest thing of all is that they didn't call about this. We also ordered a dish with the message in all caps: FRIES APART!!! (These would otherwise be soggy) and... no, we'll just add the fries in the box. If understanding Dutch is too difficult, there's also such a thing as contacting the customer, hiring Dutch-speaking staff, or using Google Translate!

I think I live about 10 minutes from the town center where this snack bar is located. I just moved to Kerkrade and had my parents over, so we thought, "Come on, let's order fries." Ordered at 6:30 PM, and by 8:30 PM, still hadn't received the food. I called several times, and they just kept me hanging, saying it was on its way, but nothing ever materialized. It's a sad situation...

The fries were way too hard. The Asian waitress wasn't friendly. The toilet smelled of sewage.

Had burger, gyoza and chicken pieces with fries. Seemed we were 1st guest today....lady understood english, there were no problems at all. Food was tasty and not expensive.

Owner not friendly, got wrong ice cream, went to the man politely, said wrong ice cream, man throws ice cream on the ground in front of me

I ate cold fries here. The woman behind the counter then ate the fries herself and said they were good. She didn't want to give me new ones. After some nagging I did get them. They were also cold. All this while it smelled really bad of poop. The woman behind the counter also once cursed one of my friends because the drinks were undrinkable. Waste of money. Don't go here!!!

Hardworking friendly people in my experience with Happy Days, it is still fast food. Even during a storm, the gentleman came to deliver, respect. They also keep their agreements.

Ordered online, the food did not taste good, it seemed as if they had only fried the fries for 30 seconds, the chicken nuggets were very tough and tasteless, there was little sauce on the fries and you pay a good price for them, absolutely not recommended

Hopefully they'll get it over with soon. It's a shame that there is no good snack bar at this beautiful location (anymore).

The owner does not speak Dutch well and does not understand it either.... I had a stamp card full through home delivery. The owner has activated the stamp card himself. When handing in the best gentleman came to tell me that it is not normal for me to hand in the receipt. And that he is making a loss like this. I tried to explain it to the best man, but he was too stubborn to make even a little effort to listen to my story. He stood at my door shouting that I had to pay him the discount in cash. While the good man had canceled my order. Not really customer friendly. I think it has to do with the language barrier. After having to listen to him for 5 minutes, he left on high legs and told me that I should never order there again. I also feel bad for the owner. But if you want to run a business in the Netherlands, you must at least be proficient enough in the Dutch language to understand and weigh things up. Hence the poor rating

I went to the chip shop with a group during Carnival before we went home. We got there and had neatly ordered and paid. When we had received our food, someone jokingly asked if he could have a free spring roll. That man couldn't laugh about it and came running after us with an iron pipe, then he hit me and now my expensive coat is broken. The food was also not good, too greasy! So absolutely not recommended, sir, he is very aggressive.

Ongezellig de eigenaars zijn weinig geïnteresseerd Je krijgt kleine porties op kleine bordjes en er was geen toilet papier op het toilet.

Heerlijk en vriendelijke bediening.

Hele vriendelijk mense en het eten is er lekk

Patat was wat oud en hard. Sfeer is prima en bediening is ook goed.

Sehr gute und freundliche Geschäftsleute. Essen ist immer lecker. Obwohl nur ein paar Tische draußen stehen viel zu tun da.

Heel vriendelijk en de bami werd voor ons speciaal klaargemaakt maar de smaak die wij wilden.

Een hele goede friture met goede service.
