Cafetaria Komeet in Wijk 07 Eelde

Ordered takeout to eat at home. The order was filled correctly, but the quality was poor: the fries were overcooked, dark, and hard. The staff wasn't a well-oiled machine, but they were friendly. The restaurant looks outdated.

I posted three years ago, and it was all positive, but for the past year, it's been terrible. Every month, something is missing from an order, or we receive a different product than what we ordered. Or the fries are brown, or the fries are big chunks. I suspect this is because there's always a new team with only one familiar face, but something really needs to change in the coming months, or I'll have to find another place to order from.

The "comet," you could more accurately call it the "gaweg." Staff who can't even do mental math, long waits, and a very uninviting, old-fashioned place.

I placed an online order. When I got home, a croquette sandwich was missing. I called to report that something was missing. I said, "Make a note of it, and I'll get it next week." The following week, I ordered by phone. I got someone on the line who barely spoke Dutch. With great difficulty, I explained that a croquette sandwich was missing last week and that I was owed it now. I picked up the order. (Which was also ready way too late.) When I got home, the raspatat (sweet potato) was completely burnt! The rest of the snacks were cold! And again, the croquette sandwich was missing! Done!! They won't be back!!! And by the way, I've had snacks delivered several times that weren't even cooked!!!! First, get some decent staff working there! There's only one person who knows what they're doing, and that's Naomi. The rest are too stupid to give a damn!

Waited 75 minutes for lukewarm food, staff extremely unfriendly and gave an attitude as if we were the problem.

We arrived at 6:45 PM. We couldn't order until 6:00 PM. After that, we had to wait until 7:15 PM for our food, which was then delivered cold/lukewarm. We were dissatisfied and wanted to speak to the manager about it. All we got was that it was our fault and absolutely not theirs. Overall, absolutely not recommended!

Just got fries here. When we called, the woman was already grumpy. We wanted to order more, and while we were in a hurry, she said she'd be ready in 10 minutes. I said, "I'd like to order some more," so she said. Not customer-focused at all. Just walked in, and there was a woman and a young man. The woman was very unfriendly and grumpy. We had fries for 3 people, but two of us could eat them, not enough for the three of us, which we paid for! Worthless, very DISAPPOINTED!

Vreselijke patat en de pindasaus was zo droog kon geen patatje dippen. Milkshake was zo zoet en chemisch. Deze kids kunnen het niet handelen wordt te veel en laten de pindasaus uitdrogen iemand had geen broodje kroket bij de bestelling en de ander had een broodje hamburger speciaal zonder saus droge brood met hamburger neeee dit kan echt niet

The food was absolutely disgusting. The peanut sauce was thick and burnt. The milkshake had a really nasty chemical taste. I won't buy anything from here again.

Today undercooked fries and undercooked Mexican... normally never any problems and the peanut sauce was also thin, I like to come here for that thick peanut sauce... well, better luck next time. If that one young man with that short hair is there or that somewhat older man, then it's fine, if not, then you better just go to another place because money back or at least make your order right after a complaint, they don't do that

Ordered food for our family today. Ordered and could only pick it up 45 minutes later, which was the first available time. Well that wasn't really a problem, but you do assume that the food will be ready around that time. My son went to get the food and had to wait another 45 minutes. When we got home everything tasted bitter because it was almost burnt, the oil was clearly old too. I've had to wait longer at this store before, but this really beats everything and is not worth the money. Too bad...

Op zich een prima zaak, maar bij drukte langere wachttijden en geen controle wat je van te voren besteld. Dus gastheer wel eens wat fout…. Dit keer kwamen we er thuis achter dat de 7! Euro patat nog niet eens voldoende was voor 1 persoon.

The food is cold. I've had it three times now, and the fries are cold three times. The hamburger is inedible and expensive too, €5.20 for a simple hamburger special. You'd almost bet it came from Aldi. No, my portion is ready there.

We hebben hier een lekker broodje kroket en een lekker bakje patat gehad. Ze hebber hier echter geen koffie. De bediening is vriendelijk.

You order 2 pork satay, Mexicano, peanut sauce and three fries. The pork satay was delivered in a Hamburg box made of cardboard, the meat was such large, coarse chunks that were simply burnt here and there. The meat was undercooked, even though it was burnt on the outside and it was also cold inside. The peanut sauce was in a plastic container, nothing wrong with that, you would think, if it weren't for the fact that the peanut sauce looked more like a puree, I suspect it was the last leftover they had or so the peanut sauce was on the dark side, we think. that it had been heated up with the microwave, the inside of the peanut sauce was also not warm. The fries were fried, in other words we kept throwing them back in the fryer to keep them warm, meanwhile they became hard and very greasy and then we threw a pot of salt over them. Even with the Mexicano, she is unable to get it cooked and warm. This whole thing cost me 30.10 euros. For that amount of money you can expect them to do a little better. I understand that they are waiting for their new construction to be completed and that things have now made do, but you cannot send your customer home with rubbish and expect us to show understanding. No, dear Comet/Triptych owner/employees, do you sometimes eat your own mess or does it come out great from the kitchen and do you save it for your customers? If you are proud of your work, make sure your workplace is a bit cleaner because it is also lagging behind, such a waste bucket can be emptied more often and the countertop can also be cleaned in between. All in all, you won't see me again.

Terrible! Cold food and if you call it, it is not true and it is not possible. If you indicate that you do not want to discuss this and this is what you get, I say that I will never come here again. To which you then receive an answer: absolutely fine! Nice how you are treated as a guest/customer and have just collected an order of 40 euros! You can forget about solutions if your food is not good!

Just bought 2 soft serve ice cream containers for 8 euros. When we got home there were 2 half filled soft serve ice cream containers with a tiny bit of sauce. An expensive portion of ice cream! Again partly due to young and inexperienced teenagers as staff! The owner should finally do something about this! Sad and a shame that both snack bars in Eelde have the same owner! Bad business management!

July 23, 2024 got fries the four-person staff was mainly very busy smearing another colleague who of course was not present. There was loud chatter about the person in question which I and other customers could enjoy antisocial! and I told them that when I got my (much too hard fried fries). The only thing that was said was "yeah well" .... please do something about your staff because this is really not acceptable!

Half cold fries because they neglected to call my name even though I have already paid and am waiting. I recently forgot a snack and had to wait too long, now I wanted to give it another chance and hate this place again. Worthless place and they don't even apologize for letting my fries get cold...

Ordered online, but order was ready 25 minutes late. I also came home and the fries were fried too long and brownish/hard. I also came home with a tasty roll (which was still soft and not baked long enough) instead of the ordered bami disk. Understandable because the 'leader' of the couple Wilma was too busy (couldn't cope with only 2 other girls in the shop, 1 of whom didn't know everything yet) and was laying notes on top of each other and on the wrong signs. Also always wearing glasses, taking glasses off and in hair and hands through the hair and then always grabbing other snacks from the bins. Maybe something for the goods inspection service to come and have a look and close this shop. Definitely avoid when busy. Already had a bad experience a few times with few fries when you ordered for several people in 1 bag. Application perhaps: Desired manager with overview/overpower who keeps a cool head in the right way and even when busy and sets high standards for hygiene!!!

Very bad, inedible, fries container half full, not worth the money

Bad experience, large order placed at half past one on Thursday, but the cafeteria leaves much to be desired. 1 Rasfries received too little, but paid for it Meatball undercooked Cafeteria itself looks very outdated. Customers on site were poorly served, long waits. And phone calls were put on hold for 10 minutes. Better drive to Doornbos in Groningen South.

Het interieur kan wel een opfris beurt hebben. Het is niet meer wat het vroeger was lang wachten voor je wordt geholpen de patat was wel lekker

Een cafetaria die helaas sterk achteruit gaat. Wilde telefonisch bestellen kreeg te horen een momentje. Kwartier aan de lijn gehangen. Toen er maar heen gereden. En mijn ongenoegen uit gesproken. Geen excuses gunt je geen blik waardig. Deze vrouw mag wel iets leren over omgang met klanten. De jongens achter de oven treffen hier geen blaam werkte hard

Beste cafetaria van Eelde. Of de enige. Maakt niet uit. Altijd goed dinsdag dicht.

Patat was goed, niet duur en vriendelijk personeel. De eierbal waar ik zo naar had uitgekeken viel helaas erg tegen, de smaak van kerrie was veel te sterk. Hierdoor deze helaas niet opgegeten.

Heerlijke patat en idem snacks, ruim voldoende saus en niet duur

Geweldige plek, ik ga er al jaren heen en het is nog steeds heerlijk.

Gewone dorpscafetaria met prettig personeel. Lekker softijs voor 1 euro. Waar vind je dat nog?!

Vriendelijk personeel en lekkere patat. 1 nadeel vind ik dat wanneer je een grote patat speciaal wil er 2x tarief van een kleine patat in rekening wordt gebracht. Hierdoor zou ik geen grote meer bestellen.
