We were looking for a good chip shop from our holiday park. We are from Belgium, so we are a bit demanding in that regard. Well, this is the place to be for really good fries with an incredibly large assortment of snacks and sauces, all equally tasty. We were here with 5 children who all chose different snacks, and they were all very satisfied with them. The service is also very professional and friendly. You can feel that this place has been around for a long time (3 generations) and knows what customers want. The opening hours are also very generous, which is very customer-friendly. Many chip shops in Belgium could take a leaf out of their book.

Very good snack bar, very wide selection on the menu. The USA theme has to be your thing, but it looks slick. Definitely recommended for a quick snack!

Inside, it looks like an American diner. Ordering is done by writing your wishes on a notepad and handing it to the counter. The order is brought to the table. You choose and get your drinks from the fridge.

I've never experienced such rude service in my life, unbelievable. Yesterday we were at Mister Johnny's and I ordered a broodje shoarma with extra red sauce. When the food arrived, the red sauce and the broodje were missing. I went inside and asked for the red sauce and the broodje. The cashier then rudely and inappropriately told me I hadn't ordered a broodje. I replied that I had and had even mentioned it when I placed the order. The cashier then said that wasn't true, that three people had heard me say I hadn't (which couldn't be true, since he couldn't ask anyone what they had heard). Annoyed by his tone, I said that I definitely had said so, at which point he became loud and snapped at me, saying I hadn't. I just gave up and left without ordering anything. That was definitely my last visit, which is a shame, as I usually enjoy coming there with my family. But that way you don't have to be yelled at in front of other guests.

We ate here for the first time yesterday. After a friendly greeting, we took a seat in the back of the cozy establishment. You feel like you've stepped back in time. Ordering is very easy via the QR code at the table. The quality of the food is very good. We will definitely come back again.

A really cool restaurant. A mix of typical Dutch specialties and American diner fare. The ambiance has a bit of a fifties/sixties flair. You can order via QR code or the old-school way with a slip of paper. The food was delicious! A visit is definitely recommended. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

We ate at Mister Johnny's again this weekend. It was delicious, as always. But unfortunately, it wasn't very clean. The staff (sometimes six to eight guys) stood bored behind the counter chatting while the owner worked. They had nothing to do. One guy didn't even take a customer's tray but insisted he throw it in the trash himself. Even though he was standing right next to the bin! He was also standing next to various bits of trash (fries, paper, etc.) lying on the floor, and nobody was doing anything about it. Instead, they were just kicking them around. The tables were cleaned with a spray bottle. The cloth was left on the counter with the spray can. Everything on the tables (mostly onions) was neatly wiped onto the benches or even dropped on the floor. So you had to clear the onions off the bench before you could sit down. It really was different in the old days!

The food was good. However, ordering is not fun. You have to scan a QR code and/or write down your order. Where is the humanity and hospitality?

It's a cafeteria/snack bar. It's often crowded and noisy, there's no table service, and that's fine. You order by looking up the menu online, writing down the dishes you want, and handing the slip of paper to the front desk. Once the food is ready, it's brought to your table. Everything is quick, the prices are fair, and you rarely have to wait long. It can be a bit tricky if you're unfamiliar with the products, as the selection is quite large.

Very friendly staff. The QR code ordering system is very simple and straightforward. If you prefer, you can simply write your order on a piece of paper; notepads and pens are available on every table. The selection is extensive, and everything we tried was delicious. Anyone who enjoys Dutch cuisine will be very well served here.

Decent service, burgers a bit monotonous Mister Johnny in Posterholt offers friendly service and quick turnaround. However, the burgers are rather basic, lacking in freshness and creativity – they lack special ingredients or varied preparation. The side dishes are okay, but overall, they're rather average. If you like quick burgers, this is the place for you, but I searched in vain for any real highlights.

Mr. Johnny has become a cult favorite and is known far and wide. Here, you can enjoy delicious frituur in a stylish atmosphere, even late into the evening. Unfortunately, the customer service has lost some of its friendliness, but otherwise, it's still top-notch.

This is really something special, you should definitely stop by if you have the time, super cozy and a real rock and roll atmosphere, in the style of the 60s. Awesome.

The food was delicious. Not a fan of the wooden cutlery and cardboard straws you have to get yourself when you eat there, and the drinks are too. It's a shame they don't have milkshakes with such a well-made American atmosphere.

We were here again yesterday with the little ones, and as expected: It was fantastic again!!!! Extremely delicious!!👍🏼👍🏼 Our two little ones were craving Mr. Jonny again today, so of course we had to go! And again, it was very good👍🏼🫶🏼 We were here again today with the grandchildren. It was delicious, as always. The little ones loved it too. We've been coming here for almost 50 years now! Never regretted a visit... keep it up👌👍🏼🍀

One of the best chip shops in the region. Satay pie is a must.

The order was wrong again. My girlfriend ordered two croquette sandwiches, and I got two frikandel sandwiches. The meatball special with satay sauce came with curry, which I didn't ask for. This isn't the first time this has happened. Even if you arrive at 10:45 PM, an order should still be correct, which is a shame. The food was also inedible. This was the last time Mr. Johnny posted.

I go there every month and can only recommend the food and the atmosphere to everyone. The selection is huge, and the staff are super friendly. There are both Dutch-speaking and German-speaking employees. I always pick up the food, as I don't live far away. But you can also eat there.

What a fantastic place! Delicious food and friendly staff. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely go back. One small drawback: some of the benches and tables are very cramped. If you're seated, you can't get in. Fortunately, they also have more spacious seating.

A friend recommended Mister Johnny to me because they supposedly had delicious fries and side dishes. We went there today (May 2025) without further ado to check out the highly praised ambiance. A large counter area right by the entrance with a rich display. Everything from frikandel to burgers to schnitzel is available. Behind it is the seating area, completely in American diner style. Very clean and inviting. However, since I'm quite plump, I didn't fit on the leather benches at the fixed tables. I had to sit inside on regular chairs, which were also very narrow. Are all Dutch people young and thin? Oh well... There's no menu on the table, just a pad of paper and a sign for a QR code. You can either write your order on the slip of paper and hand it in at the front (how do you know what to order?), or log in to the app, which also has German subtitles. You use it to order food, although there are no pictures in the app, only the text. Since the description (not the name) is also in German, it works. Personally, I found it cumbersome. Teenagers will definitely find it cool. The food came quickly and had good portions. The prices are a little bit pricey. My special fries were delicious and OK, but I found my wife's fries with mushroom sauce overpriced. The same goes for the schnitzel with mushroom sauce, which cost over €12. My sides (something with fried chicken) were considerably cheaper. Everything came in cardboard trays, except for the schnitzel (on a plate). The schnitzel came with proper cutlery, though I used wooden cutlery. Add two cans of cold drinks and it came to €35. Everything tasted perfectly fine and I can recommend it. The decor is stylish, and you can also sit outside. The staff is extremely friendly and quick. The next time I'm in Holland, I'll definitely take the kids back to Posterholt's Diner. But I won't drive there just for that, like my boyfriend does. The chip shop is too far (a 15-minute drive).

Not the right place to eat for those who are undecided. Check out the map online BEFORE. The selection is HUGE. I would almost say eating here is an experience, it's also super tasty, and on top of that, it's cheap and the portions are large. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. It's also clean, which is quite an achievement considering the number of visitors! Top! Keep it up I would also like to add that today we ordered normally at the counter. Maybe that's not normally possible, but today (and the shop was packed) it went quite well :)

Very nice 50s/60s vibe decorated chip shop. And nice seats in the same atmosphere! Ordered large fries, was great! And a very big plus, was that they did not have plastic containers! Only disadvantage is wooden cutlery, that is really dirty to eat with, but that is of course my own opinion about it.. I will definitely eat there again!

A good restaurant, designed in the style of a traditional chip shop, with an old Elvis theme. There's plenty of seating, but it's also great for takeout.

Unfortunately, the fries in Berg are again or still very disappointing. Won't be around much longer. My surprise was great when I walked into Mr. Johnny's office. Most of them were Germans who came here to collect. Moreover, the place was completely full. Even though I had not ordered by telephone, I was outside 10 minutes later with delicious fries and snacks. Definitely worth the drive.

Cool fast food gastro in the American diner style... with the typical local menu... the chicken skewer shown here had unfortunately become very dry due to the fryer preparation... absolutely no recommendation without sauce... and quite tasteless... unfortunately under-seasoned ...the fries are great...and you definitely can't go wrong with the rest of the snacks on offer...next visit we'll try something different...I'm excited...

I think ordering via QR CODE (attached to the wall of every table) is very good. The dining room and toilets are clean. The staff is always friendly. There is parking on the street, sometimes at peak times you have to walk a few meters. Recommended at any time.

Since I couldn't handle the online ordering at the table, I tried to order at the counter (4 guests in the dining room and 3 behind the counter). The staff made it clear to me that if I didn't order online, I wouldn't be served. This service setting is the last resort. We then went to 2. and would rather starve than ever enter that store again.

Das Personal gab mir zu verstehen, wenn ich nicht Online bestelle, würde man mich nicht bedienen. Diese Serviceeinstellung ist das aller Letzte. Wir sind dann zu 2. gegangen und würden lieber verhungern anstatt diese Laden jemals wieder zu betreten.
