Mr. Johnny has become a cult favorite and is known far and wide. Here, you can enjoy delicious frituur in a stylish atmosphere, even late into the evening. Unfortunately, the customer service has lost some of its friendliness, but otherwise, it's still top-notch.

This is really something special, you should definitely stop by if you have the time, super cozy and a real rock and roll atmosphere, in the style of the 60s. Awesome.

The food was delicious. Not a fan of the wooden cutlery and cardboard straws you have to get yourself when you eat there, and the drinks are too. It's a shame they don't have milkshakes with such a well-made American atmosphere.

We were here again yesterday with the little ones, and as expected: It was fantastic again!!!! Extremely delicious!!👍🏼👍🏼 Our two little ones were craving Mr. Jonny again today, so of course we had to go! And again, it was very good👍🏼🫶🏼 We were here again today with the grandchildren. It was delicious, as always. The little ones loved it too. We've been coming here for almost 50 years now! Never regretted a visit... keep it up👌👍🏼🍀

The order was wrong again. My girlfriend ordered two croquette sandwiches, and I got two frikandel sandwiches. The meatball special with satay sauce came with curry, which I didn't ask for. This isn't the first time this has happened. Even if you arrive at 10:45 PM, an order should still be correct, which is a shame. The food was also inedible. This was the last time Mr. Johnny posted.

What a fantastic place! Delicious food and friendly staff. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely go back. One small drawback: some of the benches and tables are very cramped. If you're seated, you can't get in. Fortunately, they also have more spacious seating.

I go there every month and can only recommend the food and the atmosphere to everyone. The selection is huge, and the staff are super friendly. There are both Dutch-speaking and German-speaking employees. I always pick up the food, as I don't live far away. But you can also eat there.

By far the best snackbar & café I've seen in The Netherlands. Beautiful US atmosphere, it is the correct US-vibe. I would recommend this!

Very tasty and quick food for a fair price.

A friend recommended Mister Johnny to me because they supposedly had delicious fries and side dishes. We went there today (May 2025) without further ado to check out the highly praised ambiance. A large counter area right by the entrance with a rich display. Everything from frikandel to burgers to schnitzel is available. Behind it is the seating area, completely in American diner style. Very clean and inviting. However, since I'm quite plump, I didn't fit on the leather benches at the fixed tables. I had to sit inside on regular chairs, which were also very narrow. Are all Dutch people young and thin? Oh well... There's no menu on the table, just a pad of paper and a sign for a QR code. You can either write your order on the slip of paper and hand it in at the front (how do you know what to order?), or log in to the app, which also has German subtitles. You use it to order food, although there are no pictures in the app, only the text. Since the description (not the name) is also in German, it works. Personally, I found it cumbersome. Teenagers will definitely find it cool. The food came quickly and had good portions. The prices are a little bit pricey. My special fries were delicious and OK, but I found my wife's fries with mushroom sauce overpriced. The same goes for the schnitzel with mushroom sauce, which cost over €12. My sides (something with fried chicken) were considerably cheaper. Everything came in cardboard trays, except for the schnitzel (on a plate). The schnitzel came with proper cutlery, though I used wooden cutlery. Add two cans of cold drinks and it came to €35. Everything tasted perfectly fine and I can recommend it. The decor is stylish, and you can also sit outside. The staff is extremely friendly and quick. The next time I'm in Holland, I'll definitely take the kids back to Posterholt's Diner. But I won't drive there just for that, like my boyfriend does. The chip shop is too far (a 15-minute drive).

Not the right place to eat for those who are undecided. Check out the map online BEFORE. The selection is HUGE. I would almost say eating here is an experience, it's also super tasty, and on top of that, it's cheap and the portions are large. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. It's also clean, which is quite an achievement considering the number of visitors! Top! Keep it up I would also like to add that today we ordered normally at the counter. Maybe that's not normally possible, but today (and the shop was packed) it went quite well :)

One of the best chip shops I know, and as a Belgian you know a lot of them! If you are in the area, you should ABSOLUTELY make a detour to Mr. Johnny.

Very nice 50s/60s vibe decorated chip shop. And nice seats in the same atmosphere! Ordered large fries, was great! And a very big plus, was that they did not have plastic containers! Only disadvantage is wooden cutlery, that is really dirty to eat with, but that is of course my own opinion about it.. I will definitely eat there again!

A good restaurant, designed in the style of a traditional chip shop, with an old Elvis theme. There's plenty of seating, but it's also great for takeout.

Unfortunately, the fries in Berg are again or still very disappointing. Won't be around much longer. My surprise was great when I walked into Mr. Johnny's office. Most of them were Germans who came here to collect. Moreover, the place was completely full. Even though I had not ordered by telephone, I was outside 10 minutes later with delicious fries and snacks. Definitely worth the drive.

Separate cafeteria decorated in American style. You can order what you want to eat via a QR code and your phone and it will be delivered quickly to your table.

First time I got some nice fries, the place looked very attractive, it was busy inside the menu, the floor areas sawger, the food was super tasty, next time we will eat inside with the children, everything was delicious and the service was great and very friendly.

Cool fast food gastro in the American diner style... with the typical local menu... the chicken skewer shown here had unfortunately become very dry due to the fryer preparation... absolutely no recommendation without sauce... and quite tasteless... unfortunately under-seasoned ...the fries are great...and you definitely can't go wrong with the rest of the snacks on offer...next visit we'll try something different...I'm excited...

One of the best hairdressers for me for 38 years. The selection of food and snacks is sensational. The food is delicious. Moderate prices, decent portions. I think ordering via QR CODE (attached to the wall of every table) is very good. The dining room and toilets are clean. The staff is always friendly. There is parking on the street, sometimes at peak times you have to walk a few meters. Recommended at any time.

Since I couldn't handle the online ordering at the table, I tried to order at the counter (4 guests in the dining room and 3 behind the counter). The staff made it clear to me that if I didn't order online, I wouldn't be served. This service setting is the last resort. We then went to 2. and would rather starve than ever enter that store again.

Da ich mit der Onlinebestellung am Tisch nicht zurecht kam, versuchte ich an der Theke zu bestellen(4 Gäste im Gastraum und 3 hinter der Theke). Das Personal gab mir zu verstehen, wenn ich nicht Online bestelle, würde man mich nicht bedienen. Diese Serviceeinstellung ist das aller Letzte. Wir sind dann zu 2. gegangen und würden lieber verhungern anstatt diese Laden jemals wieder zu betreten.

It used to be cult, but it's no longer a hit. Orders are now placed online at the table via an app and the guys behind the counter are probably under a lot of stress. Sustainability doesn't exist that way either. Sorry, but we have places with a higher quality of stay and less stress for everyone. Sorry 😵‍💫

As always, it was super good. If you want to eat there you can order at the table using your mobile phone. The ambience is supposed to be reminiscent of a diner and it does.

I thought it was funny, so typically American. Very dark in the room, very purple, but nice and cool, much better than outside. Fries and small spring rolls were good and so was everything else. Nice personel .

Fries could be much better, but nowadays everyone everywhere seems to be satisfied with 'factory fries'. I find that particularly unfortunate. The really tasty fries from 20 - 30 years ago are hardly available anywhere anymore. Nevertheless, the staff is friendly. Fast and the place is clean.

It's not as unusual as some reviews might lead you to believe. Some of the food is really good, but overall it's not that different from many other snack restaurants. Really standout fries etc can be found elsewhere… However, the food clearly differs in price, and on average it is simply higher here... So it's not that special of an experience, apart from the quite harmonious ambience, which you probably pay for in the end.

Ordered here while we were still in the Landal park this week, it was delivered nicely, good communication and delicious food.

The absolute best fries around! And: gluten-free :-) We have been coming here regularly for many years. Now even more common than before because our little son has celiac disease. Gluten-free (contamination-free) fries are available here. The fries are fried separately so that there is no contact with products containing gluten. If desired, there are also gluten-free fried rolls and other gluten-free side dishes to choose from. Anyone affected by celiac disease knows how difficult it is to eat gluten-free when eating out. Mr Johnny is absolutely perfect! :-)

Great place, American Diner Style with typical dutch choice. Food was fresh and staff friendly. There are big signs on the Tablet for those Who cant read how to Order. It wasnt a Problem at all! Our Family enjoyed it. Would come Here again.

Were there for the first time, we were told to write down what we wanted on a piece of paper at the table! There was hardly anything going on and there were 4 or 5 employees there. Then I asked nicely if I couldn't order directly at the counter because I didn't know what the things were called. But no, it's only possible at the table! “It says what it says in German!” But if I want to take away I can order at the counter. But it doesn't get you anywhere! Customer service is 0! Also very unfriendly! Then we drove! First and last time!

I have to say that my experience was exceptional in every way. The food was delicious, the ambience was inviting and the service was first class!
