Not a standard cafeteria. The house snacks and burger are delicious. Prices are on the high side, though. You can also sit on the terrace; the dishes and menus look fantastic. Beautifully presented plates. And considering that, I think the price isn't too bad. You only pay the same price if you get takeout.

It was tasty again. Delicious fries with all kinds of toppings and a wide selection of snacks.

Before you had even ordered, 20 minutes had already passed. Work doesn't move that fast. By the time your order is ready, 35 minutes have passed. 4 snacks and 2 fries. And then the satay sauce and the snacks are so greasy that you just throw them away because otherwise you get uncomfortable. I won't be coming back here. Oh right, and it wasn't even that busy.

The lady behind the ice cream machine really did give out big ice creams! We ate them deliciously on the terrace in the shade. A person doesn't really need anything more....

Delicious milkshakes with a wide selection. The snack bar is also great, even though we just came for a simple croquette sandwich! I've been coming here since I was a child, and I'll continue to come here with my kids! Simply delicious!

We had a nice meal here today. We sat on the terrace, a lovely spot! The food was delicious, the fries and stewed beef were really top-notch! Friendly owner. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely come back.

Dishes are overpriced, and the sauces are also very expensive. The sparerib dish was a real disappointment; there wasn't much meat and it was charred black. The fries that came with the menu were also too few; they were served in a small square basket with a piece of paper folded in, so there wasn't enough room for the fries. The fries also contained many small pieces. All in all, not recommended.

All fresh products and very tasty

Just had dinner at Cafetaria 't Goudhaantje in Hoeven – what a fantastic place! The owner knows his stuff and prepares several snacks from scratch, such as shashlik, satay, meatballs, and homemade sauces. I had the sambal on a Mexicano sandwich – truly delicious! They also had a spicy cheese soufflé on the menu, a snack you rarely find in Rotterdam anymore. All in all, an excellent experience. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended for everyone! They have platters, burgers, snacks, ice cream… in short: something for everyone.

Very good burger and ice cream for fair prices and friendly service

Good food; we had the fries with stew (Flemish) and the Goudhaantje hamburger. Downside: the hamburger is served on a paper mat on a plank. After a few minutes, the paper gets soft, and you have to be careful not to eat it. There's no service on the terrace. No glasses with canned drinks.

Only drank, not very atmospheric

First time eating here with our family. The choice is wider than a standard chip shop. The home made snacks are definitely recommended. The hamburgers are particularly tasty.

After a day at the beach, I had fries and snacks here. what a disappointment. Fries were unedible, so hard and soft in between, completely brown. They were downright nasty and expensive. I think the remaining fries are fried every time. Not worth repeating. Too bad!!!

I take spicy mango burger and kapsalon. Burger was excellent 9/10, kapsalon was good 7/10. Definetly best place in Hoeven where buy this kind of food.

As a camper, I got fries there yesterday, when I arrived at the camper place, they unpacked and I saw hard and dry fries. They had been fried 3 times. It seemed like I added a soft one every now and then. I could throw away more than half of them. I couldn't eat them. Your teeth broke. ...and I also thought it was expensive

Went here for the first time as campers. What a surprise, fries war and fries stew. Both warm and well equipped with everything. Staff friendly, despite being busy. Highly recommended. Our compliments

Vorige keer Friet Indisch stoofvlees gekocht...zo...er zaten al met al 2 stukjes vlees in wauw!!! Vandaag woensdagmiddag 15 mei weer langs geweest...met partner, had ook zin in Indisch frietje.... Openingstijden 16.00 Blijft gissen,hoe laat hij nu open gaat...op de site staat 16.00....om 16.10 nog niet open.....verslapen? Vet moet toch op gewarmt zijn? 16.00 komen toch de eerste klanten? Nou ja...voor ons geen Goudhaantje meer!!

Today I had a beautiful spare ribs with spicy sauce and I recommend it, I thought it would be very expensive but I was pleasantly surprised by the price. But the best thing is the very friendly owners. I will definitely come back 🇵🇹

Veel keus en heel lekker veel uit eigen keuken ,snelle bediening en netjes.

Jeetje wat een bord met eten krijg je hier!! Mensen komen en gaan , dat betekent maar 1 ding!! Dat het goed is! Mega veel keus aan ijs. Ook al is het druk de medewerkers zijn alleen met jou bezig, zo voel je je welkom en niet als een nummer/ weer een klant. Petje af, zo hoort het

Het had goed kunnen zijn maar helaas… Kapsalon zat totaal geen smaak aan en erg droog (en ik weet echt wel wat goede kapsalon is, deze zeker niet). Stoofvlees was wel erg lekker. Maarrr heel netjes verteld dat alles goed was (bestelling van 62 euro) maar de kapsalon helaas niet. Reactie van personeel en eigenaar: ja smaken verschillen, dat is jammer dan, moet je wat anders bestellen. Geen excuses, geen begrip, kapsalon ging de prullenbak in en ik moest vol betalen voor een nieuw gerecht. Erg jammer van deze service, nooit zo meegemaakt, kom daarom ook helaas niet meer terug hier en hoop andere mensen te kunnen waarschuwen

Vanuit Bosschenhoofd gaan we hier altijd friet halen. Diverse plekken geprobeerd, maar komen erg graag bij t goudhaantje!

Vanuit t vakantie park wordt er regelmatig besteld rond 16 uur zodat t rond 17 uur klaarstaat in het weekend. Lekkere frietjes en veel zelfgemaakte gemaakte snacks en gerechten

Heerlijke patat! Alleen jammer dat er zo moeilijk wordt gedaan over het gebruik van het toilet.

Meerdere keren gesnackt en altijd redelijk goed. Tot die ene keerdat het niet goed was. En als je dat dan antwoord op de vraag of "het lekker was" wordt je uitgescholden door de eigenaar.

Lekker schepijs, prijs en bolgrote is goed. Helaas een onervaren medewerkster die erg graag was. En de softijsmachine was stuk, geeft niet meer zet er een bord neer. Er stonden mensen in de rij te wachten voor softijs. Leuke zitjes aanwezig

Goede friet, heerlijke (verse) stoofvlees en de goulash kroket zoals ie hoort te zijn; met draadjesvlees. Papieren bakjes, nu alleen de plastic vorkjes nog vervangen door houten.

Het is een snackbar die ook pizza verkopen. Redelijk aan de dure kant en ze kunnen zich beter bij de snacks houden. Friet viel wat tegen.
