Cafetaria t-Hoad in Middelharnis

Very unfriendly staff. We walked in with two thermos flasks to politely ask if we could fill them with water. Unfortunately, we weren't even given the chance. The owner was already standing by the door and turned us away immediately, even before we could ask our question. We found that very disappointing and anything but hospitable. We were with a large group and had actually planned to eat and drink something here. Due to the unfriendly reception, we decided to go somewhere else.

If you enjoy a unique experience, you have come to the right place. The atmosphere behind the counter is anything but pleasant. The owner, in particular, seems to take little pleasure in his work. There is sighing, groaning, and complaining all day long, making you feel more like a burden than welcome as a customer. What struck me even more was the hygiene. I personally saw that no hands were washed in between. For instance, someone grabbed a sausage roll first and then immediately prepared an ice cream without washing their hands. That does not exactly give a hygienic impression. Additionally, I found it very unfriendly that people who had injured themselves while swimming at the beach couldn't even get a plaster. You would surely expect such a small gesture of helpfulness. And as if that weren't enough, you can also count on a public announcement when you go to the toilet. People shout across a crowded establishment asking if you are leaving the toilet tidy. It is always nice to be addressed like that in front of everyone. All in all, I felt anything but welcome here. Fortunately, there are plenty of places where hospitality, hygiene, and customer friendliness are a matter of course. I don't need to pay a second visit.

The food was okay, but the staff was extremely unfriendly and dismissive.

Good snack bar with very spacious indoor and outdoor seating. Also restrooms. View over the water and 30 meters from the beach. Excellent soft ice cream and XXL frikandellen here too. Plenty of parking right on the beach as well. And well-priced.

Everything tastes great, super friendly employees, good atmosphere and beautiful view.

Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed. However, everything looked clean and tidy, with comfortable seating.

Really unfriendly personal, is not worthy

I went into the shop with my young son in my arms. As soon as I entered, people were staring, rolling their eyes, laughing, and whispering. At first, I thought I was imagining things. Three people giving me and my child disapproving looks. But then came the kicker. The man didn't know that I, as a German, understand Dutch. Let's just say the staff clearly and audibly have a problem with non-locals. "Don't worry, sir, we were just here on holiday and we arrived back in Germany safely." Insulting people after politely ordering an ice cream for your child is just plain wrong. I later saw several comments here from people who had experienced the exact same thing in that shop. Truly awful.

We bought soft-serve ice cream for the kids here. The staff and people were extremely rude. When we paid for the ice cream, the staff spoke to us in Dutch and hurled racist insults. We understood everything. They probably thought we were from Ukraine. Greetings from the German family 👍

Beautifully situated terrace near “New Zealand” on the Haring Vliet

Hello, I came to this place for the first time, asked for a beer, and asked if I could go outside for a beer. They rudely told me I couldn't. Then I bought a hamburger, but they gave me a regular fried patty, no bun or sauce. The staff is extremely rude. They're probably racist. I traveled 5,000 km here and I'm very dissatisfied.

Nice place but owner? never cheerful or pleasant. That makes the visit worthwhile, kind of fawlty towers.

Snack bar right on the Haringsvliet (sea arm). Nice view with a playground and good snacks. There are enough parking spaces available

Cozy local and beautifully situated with an outside play area for the kids. Also very affordable. Will definitely come back again.

Ate here on Sunday evening because this cafeteria was still open. Didn't regret it. Delicious fries and snacks. Beautiful location on the water.

We namen enkel een drankje. Maar de lokale bevolking arriveerde en masse voor de vrijdagavond frietjes plus snacks, dus dat zal ook wel ok zijn.

Lekkere frietjes en je kunt er heerlijk zitten op het terras.

Mooie locatie op Goeree-Overflakkee. Mooi uitzicht en ligt direct aan een klein haventje bij Middelharnis. Bij binnenkomst ruime plekken om te gaan zitten, ook buiten genoeg plek. Vriendelijk personeel en eten is van goede kwaliteit. Patat is erg smakelijk. Ook de ijsjes zijn een aanrader, vooral die met stroopwafel kruimels😋 Voor de kinderen is er een buitenspeelplaats met een aangrenzend strand. Prima plek om op een zomeravond een ijsje te eten of de gehele dag op het strandje te liggen. Ook zijn er voldoende parkeermogelijkheden

Geweldige locatie en ruime parkeerplaats, een vakantie gevoel daar en heel vriendelijk personeel, goed spul ha ha. Wij wensen de eigenaren toe dat de gemeente/overheid NU echt voor hun opkomt en de rare mobiele ijscoverkoper verwijderen uit hun ooghoek. Broodroof is het en ontoelaatbaar wat wij daar zagen maandag 18 juli jl. Beboeten die mobiele ijskar iedere keer als hij daar staat. succes afz Opa Kees en Oma Wilma uit Roosendaal

Leuke plek aan het water. Lekkere patat en ook ondanks relatieve drukte toch snel ons eten gehad. Gewoon prima!

Lekkere patat en snacks. In de snackbar mooi uitzicht op het water en het strandje. Oude foto's aan de wand met hoe het er vroeger allemaal uit zag. Leuk om te zien. Vriendelijk personeel en ziet er schoon en netjes uit.

Mooie locatie bij een leuk strand, maar het ijs was helaas niet goed. Het softijs kwam te zacht uit de machine, waardoor het al direct begon te smelten. Omdat de enige keus dan is om het snel op te eten, helaas niet erg kunnen genieten van het ijs.

Leuke, gezellige en aangename locatie. Mooi uitzicht over het water en met helder weer kan je 'de Rotterdam' zien. Het personeel, dienst en producten zijn vriendelijk en goed.
