Cafetaria 't Passantje in Centrum

If you ever feel like having a *real* healthy sandwich in Wageningen, there is only one thing you should do in my opinion: go to 't Passantje! They are located in a street next to the church square (so easy to find!) and when you take your first bite from their boguette (= in my opinion the best choice) => you immediately taste the tomato, the cheese, the meat... and... the lettuce (!), yes. I am well aware that most people probably (?) do not go to a cafeteria for a healthy sandwich but... Maybe a tip? => they also have really tasty fries (and other snacks!), so why not have a 'tat (or "faster food") for the evening, and then a real healthy sandwich for your next breakfast? Just a note: my 3 "atmosphere" stars is not a "down vote" but a neutral one (or an attempt at it). I'm just being honest: most of the times I got my healthy sandwich there were few other customers, so although the service was really TOP I can't really say anything about the atmosphere, except that I think the Passantje is in a very nice location (easy to reach; just follow the church and you will automatically find the Passantje in the street west of the church (towards the bus station?)) and I think the service is simply good. But again: healthy sandwich? Some "internationally known fast food restaurants" 'promise' to put healthier meals on the menu. 't Passantje _just_ does it for a while and without any necessity (I think) and qualitatively? Whoah!; if you hadn't noticed after my review: their healthy sandwiches are _really_ *really* delicious. (and yes, I know 'markup' probably doesn't work).

Service quite fast. They do have difficulty keeping satay sauce separate from mayo for people with allergies. Been there at least 3 times now. Otherwise a great tent

Had a nice meal here last Sunday. We were helped quickly, the food arrived quickly and the staff was nice. Also very reasonable prices. There is plenty of seating space and a toilet is available. We will definitely come back here!

We fortified ourselves with fries and kipcorn there, everything was very tasty and the lady from the service was also very friendly.

The quality is quite good, considering the expectations one should have for fast food. The place is accessible and clean and where it really shines is in the customer service department, the employees are very helpful and kind! Great place to both grab a snack to go and to sit and have a quick nice meal. Keep up the great work!

If you want to be helped by arrogant staff, like bad fries. want to wait longer than half an hour, while it is quiet. then you should go here.

Very unfriendly staff. Then the fries cannot be eaten. And if you want to spend an evening checking out the toilet, I would eat here.

Ate there today, impersonal and uninterested staff it seems, no friendly welcome or chat, no menus, and the food wasn't really anything to write home about, ohh yes you have to keep moving there otherwise your shoes will stick to the sticky floor .No thanks for me never eating there again

On a sunny afternoon we visited the fair in Wageningen. While we were walking on the street, we asked someone where we could enjoy some fries. They recommended this snack bar to us. We found it easily and it looked clean. We stepped inside but there was no warm welcome or any friendly contact, despite having my two children with me. We ordered a portion of fries with peanut sauce, a portion with mayo, four snacks and a milkshake for just under 20 euros. It is common for prices to be a bit higher, so we were used to that. The toilets were nothing special, but clean. The place was spacious and looked neat. The fries and snacks were fine, as expected. However, the peanut sauce tasted different than in most snack bars, not like the well-known Wijcko sauce. The milkshake was nice and creamy and cold. There was no sun on the terrace at the end of the day, and I can't say much about parking because we came on foot. If you're hungry, this is the place to go, but don't expect a personal chat or a trendy place. Let me know if you find my review helpful by leaving a like.

Food was really tasty but I was treated really badly. Order was not complete so we call and pass it on. A milkshake was missing and we ask for an extra ice cream (which we want to pay in cash). After 30 minutes, when she finally arrives, she rings the doorbell 7 times like crazy... a bit of an exaggeration. When we open the door, she doesn't have a milkshake again. Then she says take the ice cream for free... (as a solution) actually just pay for it since I still don't have my milkshake. I don't know if I will order again after this experience. By the way, the fries were tasty

I ordered home delivery and paid for fries and a large milkshake, neither of which I had. The hamburger that was there was completely wilted in the container. Delivery time was 80 minutes, but I had taken that into account, but that is still a long time and I expected my food to be good. I have called 30 times and filed a complaint about home delivery but nothing yet. Not even a refund for the things I never got. I don't recommend ordering here. (Edit) this was a while ago on June 27 in the home delivery app.

We just had dinner at the snack bar mentioned, but unfortunately we didn't like it. Toasties were not well done after we asked. The toasted sandwiches, fries and frikandel have a strange taste and the healthy sandwich was unfortunately on a normal bun. All in all, not recommended.

Where women grab ice cream after ending their relationship, men eat at Het Passantje. A large pedal boat with a bear claw with peanut sauce as a side dish on the side. In the end, your stomach ends up regretting as much from eating it all as your heart does from just breaking up with you. Everything hurts.

We were here yesterday on Liberation Day, May 5. I think the price has been hiked up for a fries at 3.80, which I thought was quite a lot. But the fries were good.

I often go to this legendary place to enjoy a big snack (water bike), Hks'je & a chicken burger. Hks'je (ham cheese soufflé) is highly recommended. After having placed this order a few times, the standard question is: "Hks "you?" That is the service you expect from your favorite pub. Our favorite pub, that is what t' Passantje has become. More than just recommended, it is great!!

Friendly people, citizens not very special

Come here every week for a big snack. In terms of atmosphere, it is exactly number 1 at the cafeterias in Wageningen. Always friendly service and snacks and fries of excellent quality. Recommended: Slaughter ship war (sauce separately) with a chicken corn and a Mexicano, a chicken burger and a drink of your choice.

Fantastic snack bar. In difficult times you can forget everything here with the splendor of a delicious peanut fries on your plate. This small snack in combination with a peanut snack and a chicken burger is just pure magic. The frying skills of the friendly staff are also abnormal, never seen so many skills before. Especially compared to the losers at McDonalds.
