Cafetaria is a great place to eat, a bit of a cross between a snack bar and a restaurant. You can quickly and easily grab fries or ice cream, but you can also enjoy a more substantial meal. The food is delicious, and the selection is quite extensive. The decor and atmosphere leave a bit to be desired; it does have a bit of a snack bar feel.

What a disgrace for Alblasserdam! We arrived well over 40 minutes before closing time, but were told we could only get drinks or ice cream. I've been here before, back when it was still Food Masters, and the food wasn't good then either. Apparently, a new name doesn't help. Customer service is nowhere to be found here. If you've just come from somewhere and think, "I'll just grab something to eat," feel free to skip this place. Tip for the owners: if you don't have an entrepreneurial spirit and don't want to interact with customers, work for a company where you don't have to interact with people.

Delicious food in a beautiful location, only 3 stars because you are on the road on the dike which is very busy.

The vanilla milkshake was tasty for 3.50, but I didn't buy fries because that was 4 euros for a small cup.

bought fries two days ago just before closing. Ordered a large bag of fries for 4 euros. This could at least feed two people. I was given a small bag. When I walked out of the store and realized that it was a small bag, I immediately went inside and indicated to the lady that she had given the wrong bag and that I had received a small bag. She simply says no, that it is a large bag of fries. Well I was very indignant because I could read her lie on her face... When I got home she said 'that's just a small bag', you eat it, because we can't eat it. I took pictures next time I will go with several people to go through the same order. Let's see if she's lying again. I would personally suggest that you pay close attention because this is not just with the bag of fries but with several dishes. The more people confront the matter, they may become more honest. I wasn't a fan of Cafetaria De Haven Alblasserdam anyway. Margarits corner has much better service and honest service to the customers!

Nice people and the noodles are tasty and if there is too much you can take it home, the peppers are also very tasty and the spring roll is special

Certain menus do have an Asian twist. For example, "fricandeau" (fried meat fries) doesn't come with slices of fricandeau. But for a cafeteria, there's a huge selection. Clean restrooms.

Nasty meatball that has been reheated at least 10 times! Chinese charges €3.70 for a ball while €3.10 is on the menu and, if you have a comment, spontaneously gives €0.60 back from the cash register. Scammers! Fries were good but cost €4.00 for a small rotten bowl. In short, driving past this stop is not worth it!!

I ate here several times years ago when I passed by here every week for work. Now years after this I came here again with a nice tour with my family. It was as if all those years that I hadn't been here no longer counted. The same sweet and service-providing people were still in the shop. The food still tasted very good and the bill was of course a bit higher than before, but it was not too bad compared to other eateries. This extensive (with all due respect) chip shop is definitely worth a visit if you want good food for little money.

They sell fake magnums here, for the price of the real ones....

Last week the sandwiches were not available, today the bitterballen were more empty than full and the nassie disc was over-baked, always thought the food was good, but unfortunately it is becoming less so quickly. Made another attempt today, we won't do it again, stew tough, bitterballen dredged fat, we will eat it elsewhere

Congratulations on the worst chicken curry sandwich in the whole of the Netherlands... no taste at all and dry chicken... and expensive too. Those other sandwiches probably won't be anything either... if you can't cook or don't know the recipe, don't sell it ☝

Bad; ordered veal croquette. Turns out it's a goulash croquette. Okay that can happen. Bami snack dripping with fat. Asked for well done fries when ordering. It happened very quickly, so when I got the bag I asked again if it was done. Yep...well not. So I'm upset about this. Be honest and say you forgot or ask if you need to do it again. Now we are sitting at home with a goulash croquette (not edible) and weak fries. So that was the last time I went there.

We were on the way back from Kinderdijk and so hungry and saw this cafeteria on the way. So, stopped to eat something. The food was delicious though we didn't expect it.

Neat thing. Everything is very clean and tidy. We are quickly helped to a plate with hamburger and fries. The fries are of excellent quality, hot and not a spot on them. Clean grease has been used here. We don't know what Chinese raw food should be. We got lettuce, cucumber, tomato and pickle. Keep it up.

Before I went to an appointment, I ordered a Surinamese chicken curry sandwich, with a can of soft drink. The sandwich was the size of a roll, but softer and was really overloaded with chicken. This was well seasoned (not too) and nice and tender. A real pleasure.

Was there for the second time, the first time when it was just open it was nothing at all, the people standing there did not fully understand what you ordered, but the second time it was a lot better, food was good and warm, the place looks cozy, friendly people where you feel comfortable when you have to wait, and a view of the harbor of Alblasserdam

I have previously experienced that the peanut sauce matches the nasi more in terms of taste than fries. Today I went with the wife and I must say that the fries are fine in terms of crispiness, but they use an awful lot of salt. This does not improve the taste. This also applies to the breaded and fried schnitzel. Here, herbs with salt addition were added separately, which actually made it no longer tasty. I hope to come back here one day to update the review but at the moment I can't get myself any further than 2 out of 5.

Food was brought for me from this tent. So unfortunately I can't say anything about the location or the price-quality ratio. What I can say is that the fries and snacks were extremely tasty! Based on taste alone, I would definitely recommend this place.

We happened to pass by here and picked up takeout to eat in the car. Quite expensive chip shop. Fries and croquettes were very greasy. My daughter's frankfurter had also been tossed in fat, which made it very hard and dry. So it wasn't eaten. I certainly wouldn't recommend it, even though the staff was nice and it looked nice inside.

It's good to eat there, apparently they make the chicken cutlets themselves. It is kind of a restaurant and hardly a snack bar anymore, because you can get delicious meals there such as salmon or duck breast. The people are also nice and pleasant, which makes for a top snack bar.

A franchise snack bar that does NOT have to adhere to the rules, dirty and unkempt. Prices are much more expensive than stated on the website. Staff and owner downright rude and unfriendly. (Stop it if you don't feel like doing this work) but the Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority will soon!!
