Cafetaria/eetcafe/snackbar Vondelhoek in Zevenaar

I lived in Duiven for years and never gave the Vondelhoek here in Zevenaar a try. FINALLY, reasonable prices at a snack bar, for good portions. It tasted great too; it took 10 minutes to be ready. See you soon!

The meat was tough, the employees asked me 3 times what I wanted to eat and the people who eat here act as if there is a football match on TV, without the TV.

What lovely staff, they just need to bring back the basic ice creams, they are so delicious

A home-made schnitzel was advised. Almost no meat to be seen. Only breadcrumbs. Otherwise a boring affair and bare.

Best bitterballen in Zevenaar! Large portion 12 pcs and nice price! Usually busy but if you call in advance it is ready at the agreed time! Parking in front of the door with blue disk! Every now and then and with a bit of luck you get a mega bittelbal!

In my experience, Cafetaria Vondelhoek has a good price-quality ratio. I am a fan of the frikandel speciaal and the times I have gotten it here and eaten it, it was always good. The snack bar is small, clean and has the possibility to sit down. The employees are correct and friendly.

What a bad place, 25 minutes waiting for two boxes of fries, croquette and frikandel. The croquette had exploded and they had fried a second one and that was also not good. The xxl frikadel was also cracked. How hard can it be…

Bought vanilla ice cream, delicious taste. Just enjoy!

We as a company Comadex order our lunch every Thursday. The service is great and the food is fantastic. Especially the hamburger sandwich. Never had this as delicious as at the Vondelhoek. Keep it up!!!

Good quality food. You can taste that it is fried in fresh oil. Sometimes it's busy, but I understand why people move on after this. I like to wait for good food. Peanut sauce soft ice cream fries and the snitzels are highly recommended! Staff is very friendly, neat and clean!

Delicious food! You can sit quietly in the adjacent room, as it was very busy at the takeaway. Despite the crowds, the service was great!

The food was okay, satay sauce very watery. The atmosphere is up to that point, a regular clique that looks away and many very young people at work. Not a place I would go to again anytime soon. It's not easy to sit there and eat. The places are occupied with people waiting.

Just picked up fries, I can tell you never again! What a bad chip shop, frying fat much too old and fries very soft, and they dare to serve that to customers! Shame on you!

The order was not complete. Called about and we could come pick it up, said the grumpy lady. Then your food is cold by now. 😂 What twerps. Fries are also limp and there is hardly any sauce. A truly stingy intention. I won't come here anymore.

Food was incomplete. Called back and it wouldn't be on the receipt. While the receipt had been checked, it was what I ordered. They would deliver the missing part in 20 minutes. Now more than 2 hours later, no one has been seen. No call nothing!!

Eten was prima. Bestelling plaatsen ook makkelijk. De wachttijd is alleen wat minder. Het zinnetje “10 minuutjes ?” Is heel standaard daar. 2x besteld en 2x dik 30/40 minuten moeten wachten nadat is verteld dat het 10 minuten duurt. Kan begrijpen dat als het druk is, het langer duurt. Maar zeg dan niet dat het tien minuten duurt.

Frikandel war lecker,🍟 eher nicht.

Friet was niet te vreten. Het was taai of knetterhard. Snacks waren lauw, terwijl we hebben afgehaald. Normaal gaan we naar een andere snackbar maar we wilden deze eens proberen. Nooit meer dus.

Diverse producten besteld en alles klopt. Daarnaast kwaliteit heel goed en lekker!

We konden geen patat halen op de camping (gesloten) dus via Google naar een snackbar in de buurt gezocht. Vandaag gaan we nog een keertje heen om onze vakantie mee af te sluiten. Ik zou deze zeker aanraden aan iedereen. Super bedankt voor het heerlijke patatje stoofvlees. We komen zeker nog eens terug volgend jaar.

Hier genoss ich auf dem Weg nach Friesland eine ordentliche und gute Portion Pommes und eine frische Fleischkrokette. Außerdem gab es Softeis, eine Toilette und ausreichend kostenlose Parkplätze. Im Sommer kann man auch draußen sitzen. Freundliches Personal.
