Stew really strange, like from a can. Fries just.

I found this restaurant while traveling, and it was a great surprise! The place is very clean. I ordered the Smash Burger Double with an extra egg — it was absolutely delicious! The beef was juicy and full of flavor. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.

It was very disappointing, bland satay sauce… satay meat is not quite right… smulrol is not the original… too bad but we will not be back.

Good quality for a reasonable price. Fries were delicious. Even though we had not ordered in advance, we were helped quickly. In terms of atmosphere, a cafeteria is of course never a really attractive place, but it did look very clean.

A cafeteria with oriental snacks with homemade oriental sauce. It's something different again. Furthermore, sufficient variety in snacks and a covered and screened glass outdoor terrace with infrared heating.

Previously (with previous owner?) always delicious satay and croquettes. So that was a big setback when I ate the meal I picked up at home. Satay smelled and tasted bad, as did the croquette

Super fun, came here during the break with friends from school and he let us in right away at 11:30, also helped us right away and a super nice atmosphere. Good food so 100% recommended!

Super cozy here, always friendly staff and they like to joke. Food is great too. Nice and warm, ingredients in good proportion. Price-quality ratio is also perfect.

After coming here for years as a student, I went back again to experience the delicious food again. At least, that's what you hope, of course. As I read it in the comments, there is now a different owner and the difference is noticeable. It has become very expensive and unfortunately no longer as tasty as it used to be. Was neat and hygienic.

Bad tent since the takeover. Miss the old balloon!

A satay menu, hamburger menu, tartare sandwich and two milkshakes for €34. 13.50 for a portion of fries with three satay skewers. The 'old' balloon was really better. Note on the photo: mayonnaise is our own. The hamburger special had a drop of curry, a few flakes of onion and some piece of lettuce, if you looked closely. We expected more from a hamburger special menu. They probably forgot the salad? Unfortunately this was the last time we went here. We miss the balloon as former regulars.

I am 62 years old and I have never ordered a bear claw without satay sauce, simple this belongs on a bear claw, but the owner probably thinks that an ear piece is more important. I miss the old balloon team

Helaas niet meer wat het geweest is. Twee keer geweest sinds de heropening en 2 keer worden er verschillende dingen vergeten zoals sausjes etc.

Heropend en nog steeds een hele nette zaak met smakelijk eten en vriendelijke service!

Aardige mensen , nooit geen gedoe met verkeerde producten mee geven een schoone frisse zaak gewoon TOP ! .

De beste patat zaak in Bloemendaal schuin tegenover Sporthal de Mammoet, Heerlijke producten ,top personeel ,je wordt snel geholpen. Binnen10 minuten heb je alles. Jammer te weinig parkeerplaatsen.

Precies zoals een cafetaria hoort te zijn.

Deze snackbar ziet er heel verzorgd en fris uit. Prima producten. Ook heerlijk softijs. De mensen zijn erg vriendelijk.

40 min. wachten op vrijdag om daar je bestelling op te kunnen eten ( 3patat,3snacks,3 milkshakes....) is echt TE lang

Heerlijk softijs, zeer klantvriendelijk, wij gaan daar graag uit eten in het gezellige uitbouwtje wat in de winter verwarmd wordt en in de zomer kan het bijna helemaal open. Frietjes en snacks zijn natuurlijk ook lekker.

Vriendelijke medewerkers. Schoon en heerlijk gegeten.

Super lekkere patatjes, snacks altijd op smaak en het personeel is altijd super vriendelijk. Belangrijkste: ze hebben kiwi shakes! En dat is bijna nergens meer 😊

Uiteraard vijf sterren. Allereerst omdat De Ballon altijd de lekkerste frites en snacks van Gouda heeft, maar zéker ook omdat bij het personeel de service en vriendelijkheid onverminderd hoog in het vaandel staat. Toptent!

Tja als ik in Gouda ben dan moet ik daar even een frietje scoren. Die zijn zo lekker!

Erg duur geworden, 7,50 voor een zakje patat is wel erg veel.

Goede snacks en vriendelijke bediening. Kregen zelfs een grote patat terwijl we voor een kleine betaald hadden.
