Delicious Italian pizzas. We will definitely come back!

We had made a reservation at half past eight, but after an hour of waiting our pizza and pasta still had not been served. This while there were only four other customers present. The service was unfriendly and not cooperative at all. It seems like they think their time is more valuable than that of their guests. As if they are the only ones doing this work! A really disappointing experience.

Hadden gereserveerd via de website, kwamen daar en het restaurant was gewoon gesloten. Dit op een donderdagavond, terwijl het geopend zou zijn. Ook geen reactie ontvangen op mail.

Geweldig restaurant. Je proeft de sfeer van Italië. De zalm en ravioli is zeker aan te raden. Zeer lekker gegeten. Uiterst vriendelijke gastvrouw.

If you are willing to wait 1 hour and 20 minutes for your food (while it is not busy) then eating here is definitely recommended!

Ordered 3 pizzas at 6:15 pm. When I arrive they still have to be made. 30 minutes later I was outside. Bizarre!! Pizza with ham and arugula and cheese. No ham, just chewing gum. I just came from Italy, wow what a downer this was.

On spec, we requested a table for 4 around 6:00 PM. Restaurant was almost completely empty. No on the request, only on reservation. What a shame, no dog in the restaurant and then arrogantly show customers the door. You'll never see me here again. Tip: walk a little further to Zi Pepp, much better and more authentic!

Cozy Italian atmosphere, delicious food, you feel at home and would love to go back. Picking up from their takeaway restaurant (the neighbors) is also recommended. Good price-quality ratio.

I didn't find the woman who helped me very friendly. And it took a long time before I got my food.

At Casa Italia you don't just eat for a while. You go here if you have the time and want to enjoy delicious Italian food. So you have to wait a little longer for the food, but it is definitely worth it!

Best pizza in Venlo. True Italian making

Food was fine, it took a very long time but it was kindly reported that this was the case.

As they were busy I had to wait over 40 mins for pizza.

Heerlijk gegeten. Het was op de vrijdagavond wel rustig maar het weer zat niet echt mee. Bruschetta tomaat heerlijk fris en als a hoofdgerecht een pizza.

Delicious food. It was quiet on Friday evening, but the weather was not very good. Bruschetta tomato deliciously fresh and a pizza as a main course.

Super friendly and super fresh, delicious authentic Italian cuisine. Everything is made with care and it has a very neat, homely atmosphere. In short, definitely worth it.

Highly recommended! One of the best pizzas we have eaten outside of Italy. The house wine was also delicious. We will be back!

Na een gezellige dag wilden wij het nog lekker afsluiten bij #casaitaliavenlo op de koninginnesingel. Dat is dus niet gelukt. Ok, wij waren met 11 personen, dus dat de ober extra checkt of alles klopt van de bestelling is goed. Komt hij daarna terug, de kaas en worst waren op. Na bestelling van de soep, komt hij later weer terug, er is alleen tomatensoep, andere soep is er niet. 'En mijn uiensoep dan?', vraag ik. Oh nee, ook niet. Van de 4 soepen al 3 op. Daarna krijgen we te horen dat de risotto ipv 2 personen nog maar voor 1 persoon is. Mijn nieuw gekozen voorgerecht moest ook later nog eens aangepast worden. 2 personen moesten nog 1,5uur rijden, die hebben na 45min hun bestelling geannuleerd. Voorgerecht kwam pas na 1 uur. Na opmerkingen van ons kwam het hoofdgerecht weer pas 1 uur later. De cheffin had alleen een schouderophalen en een glaasje limoncello er voor over. Nog niet eens een excuses.😠

Terug gekeerd bij Casa Italia. We kunnen heel kort zijn: het eten was gewoon zeer goed; het is en blijft een prima Italiaans restaurant. De service was helaas beslist onvoldoende; voor gerecht vergeten en verkeerd hoofdgerecht!! Heel erg jammer; de kelner deed het af met de opmerking vergissen is menselijk!?! Hij ondernam geen enkele poging om iets recht te zetten. De eigenaresse echter toonde meer begrip.

The staff was unfriendly and the food was cold and didn't taste good

We (3 people) wanted to visit this restaurant spontaneously. As soon as we arrived, the waitress was stressed and surprised that customers were still coming at 7:30 p.m.... After this "nice" reception we left immediately and thank God we didn't get to enjoy this restaurant and made a better choice...

Authentic and deliciois italian pizza!

I unfortunately had a very bad experience here. I asked an employee who was an old lady if I could use the toilet because the only toilet at the train station is broken and I said I would even pay if necessary and she looks at me and says no and I asked okay but then I am gonna pee myself and she said yes and I said okay very inhumane and she said yeah. Especially frustrating because I had eaten here before this happened and already then it seemed like they are not friendly to customers…

We had made a reservation for a dinner two weeks ago by email and telephone for our wedding anniversary. When we arrived today the restaurant turned out to be closed. Because of the court ball, all other restaurants were also full, so we were able to go home without anything to do. Later I read on their website that they are closed due to the chef's illness. I understand that this is force majeure, but I would have at least expected that they would have informed us of this.

After showing the reservation confirmation mail, they admitted it was a mistake on their side. We placed our drinks, starter and main course and the drinks were served in 20 mins. Only after an hour, we checked the status of the starter and the lady got agitated and she said "IT IS BUSY AND THEY CANNOT HELP IT" with a weird body language. We checked again after 20 mins if the starter can be served for the kids and we were given an explanation that it will take another couple of 10 mins by the young fella in an unprofessional and rude manner. We decided to leave as we didn't feel welcome and felt being treated differently based on the skin tone. Just a message to the owners, yourself and your staff really require some basic soft skill and communication training, particularly as you are in the service industry. We have lived in Netherlands for quite sometime and for the first time we all felt like foreigners in this part of the country!

Cozy and very informal place. Owner and son very nice and accommodating. Truly Italian food. We will definitely return. Prices not exaggerated and excellent quality of truly Italian products

We tried the delivery food and were satisfied. Yesterday we decided to visit them and feel the atmosphere, arrangement, staff... but we didn't check on the internet and came when it was closed. That's why we'll give a more detailed assessment next time. Advice to everyone, check the opening hours and reserve a table if possible.

Unfriendly service. Older grumpy lady. Food mediocre. Carpaccio on a warm plate??? Long waiting time. Wine, the glass not even half full. I would skip it.

Heerlijk en echt italiaans. De gastvrouw is super aardig ; ook helpt de familie mee . De prijzen zijn ook normaal. Snel weer eens naar toe.

Nice restaurant run by an old copule. (The chef does not speak English, but the lady does. ｢Going to take a while｣, but only took 10min or so for the food to come out. Most dishes comes at 8〜12€, really great for the price. Due to staff shortage, the restaurant hall are not open every day, but take-out/eat at the counter is still OK. Does not welcome Visa(Master preferred)

Very nice place with delicious menu. The only problem that should be fixed is the fact that in google my business it says that restaurant is open at 16:30 but it opened at 18:00 so i had to wait in another bar.

We came in and politely said good evening. Waitress looked at me and then arrogantly looked away without saying anything. Whole restaurant was empty and they couldn't offer a table. We should have made a reservation... And on the other hand, when we picked it up they were also very unfriendly, we waited for 10 minutes... And when people came in, they were helped first. Then just walked away, rude thing.

We were positively surprised, everything was much better than we expected at first glance. In my opinion it is worth recommending.

Food was delicious, came super quickly and if I wanted shrimp with the risotto, no problem! Super sweet lady who served there, did everything herself and despite that the service remained of top quality!!

All you can eat concept, but you don't get that idea when you're sitting inside. Food is beautifully presented on the plate and tastes delicious. Very nice restaurant with friendly staff. We will definitely come back.

Very good food in a pleasant environment. I ordered a mixed pizza, a glass of rose wine to go with it and a tiramisù for dessert. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere is cozy with decor reminiscent of Italy, but I missed Italian music to accompany dinner. The price was affordable and the price of the pizza was fair. Hugs from an Italo-Brazilian

Mega food, very large portions, tasty pizza bread, which is given to you for free after ordering (it was warm and fresh with delicious garlic butter). Prices completely okay. Good music very relaxed good atmosphere :)

Strange, if you come in with cold feet you ask for coffee. Mister is an Italian restaurant then you don't ask for coffee. After ordering, the food arrives after an hour of waiting with the message that your order was delayed because your order form had been dropped. Sometimes you think about conspiracy thinking. We ordered a pizza. My grandmother is in hospice, so we thought it would be a nice idea to have something tasty to eat. We have been to you before so we already knew that the pizza would be delicious. When we picked it up we were told that we could take the pizza with us, which was a very nice surprise in these somewhat difficult times. We (and especially grandma of course) were very happy with this surprise, how nice that people can be so sympathetic at this time. Thank you very much and you will definitely see us again :)

He made me leave Italy to work there saying he offered room and board. But as soon as I arrived I found myself in the following conditions (photo). Not even an animal can sleep like that! An incredible smell of mold and damp that makes the air unbreathable. In fact, I couldn't sleep for almost the entire night. In the morning I woke up full of pain and cold and with my clothes smelling bad due to the mold and humidity. In all this, not only the damage but also the insult... I wasn't even refunded the money that he himself made me spend to leave.

Good food, friendly service and very affordable

We pick up something here more often. The food is simply very tasty and freshly prepared. Every time I arrange a time to pick up, I still have to wait 15 minutes, which could be better. Parking for pick-up is always difficult. Once again food superb.

Tasty food for great prices. Spicy and garlic oil that you can add to your pizza are both highly recommended. Nice for takeaway as well as for sitting down. Parking is often difficult when picking up.

No reservation made. Employee took the time to call if there was room available. Pizzas were tasty. Atmosphere was not so good, but food was even better! Just good food without frills. Price quality is excellent.
