Too many seats, too close together, which led to the waitress making a mess, and she even got oil on my jacket. It takes ages to order, and once you order, it takes a very long time to get your drink or food. Dishes also stay out (too) long. I also feel like not everything is homemade; the meatballs taste like they came from an Albert Heijn package. I had a brownie for dessert and left more than half because most of it was burnt. Communication between the cook and waitress could definitely be better.

This is my third time here. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is cozy, and the Spanish atmosphere is super welcoming. The restaurant is small and cute, so if you want to be sure of a spot, reservations are necessary.

As soon as you walk through the door, you feel like you're in a typical Spanish bar. The service is also very friendly. A special mention to Alberto, who gave us wonderful service. We'll definitely be back :)

Food was OKish... staff was very pleasant! Atmosphere outside was lovely, Utrecht is lovely after all and you are dead center here. Inside was OK. Wouldn't come back for the food but to have a drink and a small bite to eat its OK! However not recommended to have tapas-dinner like us Dutchies do. There are better places to grab some Spanish food.

Lekker eten, maar qua organisatie tegengevallen. Ze werken met tijdsloten. Ons tijdslot was van 18u-20u, dus we waren netjes aanwezig om 18u. Ons drinken kwam vrij vlot, maar hebben echt tot 18u30 moeten wachten vooraleer ze aan onze tafel eten kwamen opnemen. Desondanks stonden ze om 19u30 al terug aan onze tafel om te melden dat het de laatste ronde nu was (hadden toen pas de tweede ronde eten op tafel staan). Als je met tijdsloten werkt moet je zorgen dat het eten en drinken ook vlot op tafel komen. Jammer...

Delicious food & friendly service!

Food is not fantastic. For example the Albondigas feel like your eating soup balls in tomato soup. It doesnt feel authentic / hand made. Atmosphere and service are great though! Cute little place, if they would up the food it would be much better.

There were only 3 staff for the entire restaurant and terrace while it was full. Because of this we had to wait more than half an hour for our drinks and in 2 hours we only had 5 small dishes. We left while we still had not had our entire order. Too bad because the food was tasty.

We had a nice evening, but I found the food very disappointing. This was mainly due to the fact that some dishes were very salty. Apart from that, we didn't find them particularly special. The service was okay, except that 'one of our orders was forgotten. We found the atmosphere fine, but it reminded us a bit of a 'student place'.

I have now ordered 4 dishes from the menu, but these 4 dishes really taste like home, typical Spanish I have never eaten so Spanish at a Spanish bar in the Netherlands. The drinks are also very tasty, we have a Sangria and an aqua de Valencia these are also on point. On to the next round 😋😋 Lovely cozy bar to enjoy an evening with your partner or friends/family

We enjoyed our night at Los Amigos - the food was great, service attentive, and it's got great atmosphere. I was particularly impressed with the wine knowledge of the Dutch-speaking manager (I assume as she was training a new person). There are two points of improvement: - After the more experienced staff member left, things turned a bit chaotic. I felt bad for the new girl who was left with lots of tables and some impatient guests. The place seemed understaffed and she was running around trying to help everybody. She did a great job given the circumstances. - The high stools at the tables are not very comfortable. Other than that, the food was delicious, the staff did great, and there were good vibes - I'd like to come back!

Servizio pessimo,abbiamo atteso più di mezz'ora per avere un menù. Il mio compagno si è alzato più volte per chiedere di poter ordinare. Cibo scadente e ,per finire in bellezza,si sono scordati anche una portata. Assolutamente non consigliato. Di spagnolo hanno solo l'insegna. Tre cameriere ,con nemmeno 20 persone nel locale ,in pieno panico...non ci siamo.. Hasta nunca.. Pa una stella perché non posso farne zero

Delicious food. Real Spanish. Nice cava with it...

It's very tiny, with a lot of tables, so you're bound to hit and get hit other guests. The music is to loud. The batatas bravas were nice, but the other two dishes we ordered were mediocre. We might have been spoiled, or had back luck. But our expectations were higher than what we got.

Good food, but very small in terms of space and comfort, and my clothes are in the wash because of the frying smell that has been absorbed into them.

My husband visited this restaurant a few time ago with a friend and we were in Utrecht so we decided to try it with the family. The place was little but cosy, waiters even could speak perfect spanish so we had fun. Food was great, we tried pretty much everything from the menu and loved every single dish even the churros we're nice and crunchy. We placed a review in the restaurant in order to get a famous "chupito" and showered to the owner but he was a bit busy and forgot it 🙃 We will definitely come back, had a lovely evening.

Best tapas in Utrecht for me. I only find the long wait sometimes a downside. The motto is to visit outside busy hours.

Nieuwsgierig geworden door alle positieve reviews, geboekt en € 30 aanbetaald. (10 euro pp) Eenmaal daar bleek het een zeer kleine snackbar achtige zaak ipv een restaurant. Er was geen tafel meer beschikbaar (sterker nog: er zijn maar 5 tafels) dus we moesten achterin aan een klein houten plankje bij de ingang van de wc zitten. Dat vonden we niks. Voor het eerst in mijn leven besloten ergens te vertrekken. De dames achter het fornuis waren zichtbaar opgelucht. We stonden wel genoteerd, maar blijkbaar waren ze overboekt. De enige tafel die nog vrij was, mochten wij, ondanks onze reservering, niet hebben,dus dan houdt het op. Wat een teleurstelling.

Super tasty food and a nice cozy tent. The problem is that you only have 2 hours and the service is quite slow. This means you don't always feel comfortable because you are constantly wondering, "Is the food coming?", "I want to order something else." That's a shame

1 bij binnenkomst steenkoud in de zaak is er geen kachel.? 2 hokkerig op elkaar gestapelde tafeltjes 3 slecht wat betreft de kwaliteit van de gerechten 4 waar om draag je plastic handschoenen als je toch alles aanraakt 5 zelfs de kaasplank is slecht 6 onze kleding stinkt naar frituur

Really amazing food. Authentically Spanish cuisine. The calamari were probably the best I have had in the Netherlands. And with lovely people. The place is abit small for big crowds but they make it work.

Gezellig plekje met lekker eten. Duurt wel even voor je je eten hebt. Verder zijn de medewerkers wel vriendelijk en kunnen ze goed Engels.

We tried multiple different dishes and each one was so good, the atmosphere was very Spanish, and the waitresses were sweet. My only complaint would also be the high chairs, they were not really comfortable, but suitable for 1,5 hours :)

Heerlijk gegeten! Goede kwaliteit, goede bediening, fijne sfeer, leuke muziek. Het enige nadeel was dat het een beetje koud is in de winter, maar daar kunnen ze weinig aan doen.

Super leuk tentje! De sfeer is goed en het eten des te meer. Echt een aanrader! Waan je eventjes in Spanje met authentieke tapas-gerechtjes. Wel eventjes reserveren, dan weet je zeker dat er een plekje is.

Nice atmosphere and delicious food. The only addition is that it would be even more fun if the kitchen closed a little later because you sit for a while and eating tapas is of course a nice long sit at the table with a drink. But otherwise a top restaurant.

Really not recommended. The service was quite friendly, but the food was very mediocre and the restaurant was completely without atmosphere. When we arrived the radio was on loud, including commercials. Definitely no Spanish vibe.
